In this 45‑minute YouTube session titled “BE GUTSY IN GRATITUDE = day 18,” Dr. Priti Nanda Sibal leads participants through a focused gratitude meditation called “Heart Magic.” The practice centers on directing attention to the area around the heart while silently repeating the words “Thank you.” Dr. Sibal explains that this concentration can quickly deepen the feeling of gratitude, citing research that heart‑focused gratitude steadies heart rhythm and boosts immune health. She provides a step‑by‑step method: close the eyes (optional after practice), place the right hand over the heart, imagine the words emanating from the heart, and repeat “Thank you.” Participants are instructed to apply the technique to each item on their personal “top‑10 desire” list, reading each desire, then focusing on the heart and expressing gratitude. Additional tips include using a “magic rock” before sleep and integrating the practice during walks or when attention drifts, effectively replacing traditional breath focus. Dr. Sibal describes physical signs of deepened gratitude—tingling around the heart, waves of joy, tears, goosebumps, and a profound sense of peace. The session includes participant questions clarifying the distinction between counting existing blessings versus desires, and reflections on using gratitude as a centering tool during daily activities. The class concludes with a short song and well‑wishes.

Good morning.
Good morning, ma'am. Good morning.
Good morning. Perfect. So how was the day yesterday?
Superb.
Good. So, 90 seconds walk. Thank you.
More than that.
Great.
Yes, good.
I did a 45-minute walk and all through the time I was only doing, uh, gratitude through the time. Wow.
Very nice, right, good. So, aaj kaan read karega. Chitra aaj aap read karo ke?
No problem, sure, definitely.
Yes, okay, I've not shared the screen. Yes, today's topic is magic, heart magic.
Heart magic.
Wow, I know.
Yes, yes, gratitude is the memory of the heart. John Baptist Massieu. You might have figured out by now that with any magical practice of gratitude, the aim is always to feel it as much as you can. This is because when you increase the feeling of gratitude on the inside, the things you have to be grateful for in the outside world increase too. Eventually, after practicing gratitude for a long period of time, you will automatically feel it deeply in your heart. However, today's magical practice will collapse the time it would normally take for you to reach that level. The heart practice— the heart magic practice is designed to powerfully increase the depths that you feel, uh, gratitude by focusing your mind on the area of your heart as you say and feel the magic words Thank you. Scientific research has shown that by focusing on your heart as you feel gratitude, the rhythm of your heart immediately becomes more even and harmonious, resulting in major improvements to your immune system and health. That gives you an idea of the power of heart magic. It takes a little practice the first time you try it, but it is worth the effort. After a few times, you will get it, and each time you practice it, your feeling of gratitude will increase exponentially. To practice heart magic, focus your mind and attention on the area around your heart. It doesn't matter if you focus on the inside or the outside of your body. Close your eyes because it will make it easier, and while keeping your mind focused on your heart, mentally say the magic words, 'Thank you.' Once you practice it a few times, you won't need to close your eyes anymore. but as a general rule, you will feel more gratitude when you close your eyes. There are several things you can do to help you get heart magic down really quickly. You can put your right hand on the area around your heart to keep your mind focused there while you say the magic words thank you, or you can imagine that the magic words thank you are coming out of your heart rather than your mind as you say them. As part of today's magical practice, take your top 10 desire list and practice heart magic on each desire. Read each desire in your mind or out loud, and when you get to the end of reading each one, close your eyes, focus your mind on the area around your heart. Keep your mind on your heart area and say the magic words again, thank you, slowly. Again, you can use the tips I've given above if it helps you. After you have finished heart magic on each of your desires, you will not only increase the depth of gratitude you are able to reach, you will also have dramatically increased your gratitude for your top results. You can continue to practice, right?
So we all, we all have that list of 10 desires. No, we had done it in one of the previous chapters.
Yeah.
When we make it for the first time, and as we move on in this journey, desires be changed, right? And then do this exercise. Yes, Chitra, continue please.
You can continue to practice heart magic on your desire if you want to speed up the receiving of them, or you can use heart magic anytime you say the magic words Thank you. Even just using Heart Magic a couple of times a day will have a big effect on your happiness and on the magic in your life. Once you have practiced Heart Magic a few times, you will feel a huge increase in the depth of your feeling. And with gratitude, it's all about the depth of the feeling, because the deeper the feeling, the greater the abundance you will receive. The initial physical signs that you've increased the depth of your feeling Could be that you get a tingling feeling around your heart or feel a wave of joy rush through your body. Your eyes may fill with tears or you may get goosebumps, but without exception, you will begin to feel a depth of peace and happiness you never felt before. Wow. Yes, number 20. Magic practice number 20. Heart magic. 1. Count your blessings. Make a list of 10 blessings. Write why you're grateful. Reread your list, and at the end of each blessing, say thank you, thank you, thank you, and feel as grateful for that blessing as you can. 2. Focus your mind and your attention on the area around your heart. 3. Close your eyes, and while keeping your mind focused on your heart, mentally say the magic words thank you.
4.
Take your top 10 desire list and practice heart magic by reading each desire, then closing your eyes, focusing your mind on the area around your heart, and slowly saying thank you. Lastly, just before you go to sleep tonight, hold your magic rock in one hand and say the magic words thank you for the best thing that happened.
Wow, this is so short, sweet, but very, very powerful chapter. Good, perfect. Anybody who has any questions regarding this assignment?
No, but I had a question yesterday. I was thinking exactly this, because blessings, 10 blessings count every day. That is supposed to be the blessings we already have in our lives, not stuff we are wanting. So that you start with the feeling of already, right? And when you want to revisit your desires, you do hat magic, you go alogsa. Yes, you know, I've started, uh, For example, refreshing.
Yes, perfect. Anybody else who wants to say anything?
I think the other thing is like normally when you're meditating, if you find that you're distracted, you know, come back and focus onto your breathing. Through the day, when suddenly you're feeling that, that little dip of energy, or that little dip of, you know, like sort of low— not necessarily low, but just even that little shift— immediately you go back to gratitude, and then it's like whole thing is centering back. And yes, it's become the new centering breathing while I exercise. The new one has become gratitude.
And the beautiful thing is The moment you come back to this, na toh ana easy hai. Koi bhi situation ho fara kini barta. Koi bhi situation ho fara kini barta. Perfect hai ji, chalo. Then we'll end. This was a very small chapter, but that's nice. We all can go for a walk after this, right? Or spend some extra time in writing our desired list. So we'll end with a little line. This little light of mine, this little light of mine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. This little light of mine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. This little light of mine. Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. Beautiful. Have a lovely, lovely, lovely day and a very nice weekend.
