Be GUTSY in GRATITUDE - LAST SESSION

The transcript captures the concluding group session of a 28‑day gratitude program led by Dr. Priti Nanda Sibal. Participants (Speaker A, Speaker B, Chitra, and a reader named Tanvi) reflect on a recent mirror exercise, sharing how looking at themselves in the mirror sparked self‑acceptance and gratitude. The facilitator then reads Practice 28, titled “Remember the Magic,” a guided exercise that instructs listeners to recount the blessings of the previous day, list them, and repeatedly say “thank you.” The reading emphasizes that each day’s blessings are unique, that the practice can be done by writing or mental recall, and that gratitude multiplies abundance. The group celebrates having recorded 280 blessings over the 28‑day journey, acknowledges the sealing of their work, and ends with a communal singing of “This Little Light of Mine.” The overall tone is supportive, celebratory, and instructional, reinforcing gratitude as a daily, transformative habit.
Chapters
Good morning.
Good morning. So how was the mirror exercise yesterday, Chitra?
It was the first of times. Wow. Because I normally never see myself in the mirror for years now. I don't know. Yeah, I think that was a complex I carried through life. So I got into a habit of never seeing the mirror. So mirror is like so limited. That's it. So I have never really gone in front of the mirror. So a year, a couple of years back, I did this mirror work from by Louis Hay because I was in that complex. I had done that. Then after some time, leave it. So I left it off. So again, I stood in front of the mirror and I felt very nice seeing myself, and I was like So I looked at it very nice. So I actually stood there for a couple of minutes and like, you know, the nice eyes, I've aged gracefully, you know, like I was like looking at myself and actually telling, hey, you've got beautiful eyes, like there's no freckles on your face, smoothie. I was like, I said, I'm not going to think of anything of the past. So I just kept saying thank you, thank you. I thanked God a lot.
Very nice, very nice. Then we— how was it for you?
I really liked it. Like, I realized I'd been doing this pitch naturally. I think with all the gratitude Face. Thank you. Very casual. Very nice.
Who is going to read? So I was thinking yesterday that we are almost at the end of our journey, right? And the beginning of a new journey, I should say. I don't know. And it's been a beautiful journey. Okay, so Okay, so let's then read it today.
Oh, musical submit. Yes, finally!
Superb!
Congratulations! And then I was like, audio samples be attached. All the best. Thank you. I'll keep you guys updated.
Yes, please. Yes, Ji, day 28. Remember the magic.
Remember the magic. That's the thing with magic. You've got to know it's still here, all around us, or it just stays invisible for you. Charles Dillon, writer and Celtic folk musician. Every day is unique. There is no day like any other day. The good things that happen each day are forever different and forever changing. And so when you remember the magic by counting yesterday's blessings, no matter how many times you do it, it will be different every time. It's just one of the reasons why Remember the Magic is the most powerful ongoing practice to maintain the magic of gratitude in your life. No matter what your desires are now or what desires you will have in the future, this magical practice will remain the most powerful practice for your entire life. The easiest way to remember the blessings of yesterday is to start by remembering the beginning of the day when you woke up and go back over the day in your mind, recollecting the major events of the day, of the morning, afternoon, and evening, until you reach the time when you went to bed. When you recall yesterday's blessings, it should be effortless. You are just scanning the surface of yesterday, and as you scan, the blessings will bubble to the surface of your mind. You can start this magical practice by asking the question, what are the good things that happened yesterday? Whenever you ask a question, your mind will immediately look for the answer. Did you receive any great news? Did you magically receive or accomplish one of your desires? Did you magically receive unexpected money? Did you feel especially happy to hear from a friend you haven't heard from in a long time? Did something go magnificently well for you? Did you receive a great phone call or email? Did you receive a compliment, or did someone express his or her appreciation for you? Did someone help you solve a problem? Did you help somebody? Did you finish a project or start something new you're excited about? Did you eat your favorite food or watch a great movie? Did you receive a gift, resolve a situation, have a stimulating meeting, quality time with someone, a great conversation, or make plans for something you really want to do? Remember the magic and list yesterday's lessons on a computer, write them down in a journal, scan over the surface of yesterday until you feel satisfied that you've recalled the blessings of the day. They can be small things or big things, because it's not about the size of the blessings, about how many blessings you find and how much gratitude you feel for each one. As you remember and notate each one, simply be grateful and say the magic word for it: thank you. When you want— when you want to do this magical practice after a day, you can mix it up so that some days you write out the blessings and other days you remember the blessings. And say them out loud or in your mind. You can make a quick list of the blessings, or you can make a more detailed list saying why you're grateful for each one. There is no set number of blessings to find from yesterday because every day is different. But I can assure you that every single day of your life is full of blessings. And when you have opened your eyes to see the truth of this, you will have opened your heart to the magic of life. And your life will be abundant and magnificent. Whoever has gratitude will be given more, and he or she will have an abundance. Whoever does not have practice, even what he or she has will be taken off from him or her. Remember the magic, it was created for you. Wow. Practice number 28: Remember the magic. Count your blessings. Make a list of 10 blessings. Write why you're grateful. Reread your list. At the end of each blessing, say thank you, thank you, thank you. Feel as grateful for the blessing as you can. You've written 280 blessings over the course of this book. Remember the magic by counting the blessings of yesterday and write it down. Ask yourself the question, what are the good things that happened yesterday? Scan the surface of yesterday until you feel satisfied that you remember and written down all the blessings of yesterday. As you remember each one, simply say the magic words 'thank you' for it in your mind. After today, you can use this practice as a just written list or out loud or in your mind. You can make a quick list of the things you're grateful for about yesterday. Make a shorter and more detailed list and say why you're grateful for them. Just before you go to sleep tonight, hold your magic rock in one hand and say the magic words 'thank you' for the best thing that happened during the day.
Wow, thank you, Tanvi, for reading this beautiful small little chapter for us, but very, very powerful. So basically what is happening is whatever we have done till now, it's all being sealed now, right?
Yeah.
And did you realize we've written 280 blessings in the last 28 days?
That's awesome.
Now that's, that's really beautiful. I don't think we would have ever considered that, right? So very nice, very nice. Anybody who has any questions? So this is like, right, but Right, but you know, you can just keep counting. And you can be thankful for that, right? Perfect. So finally, let's, let's end the session today then with our little— I, I really like the lines we've chosen for this session, right? But yes, so this little light of mine, in this little light of mine Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. This little light of mine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. This little light of mine, let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. Thank you and have a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful Sunday.
See you.
Thank you.
Bye-bye.
Bye. Take care.
