Chapters

Santosh, you have to unmute yourself and then ask your question. Ashish, you can ask your question, please. Yeah. I am not able to hear anybody, so I will put all of you on mute. Yes, Santosh, do you want to ask something? Or Ashish, you were asking something? You will remain in a non-diabetic range, Prabjot. But let me share some useful tips with you. Shalini, my husband is recently detected with diabetes at a very high level of HbA1c, 10.8, on 30th November, and now he has hit his right eye with diabetic retinopathy. HbA1c 7.6. Shalini, you need to bring the HbA1c down to 5.4, 5.4 and 5.0 and 6.0, and then only we can look at other complications. So let's focus first on— so friends, if you have any questions, you can write in the chat box. Or I will unmute you all in the end. Just share in the chat box your name and anything in particular which you want to know from this webinar. Kuch kaaz jo aapko webinar ke antar pata karna hai, aapke naam ke saath aap lik sakte hain. How many of you are ready to change? Please give me in the chat box how many of you are ready to change. Okay, Vaibhav says he's ready to change. Mona, Kavita, Prabjot, I definitely know that Prabjot, Kalpna, Kartna, not all of us are ready to change, but yes, now a lot of us have started considering changing, right? So let me show you. I'm going to share a link with you in the chat box and you can have a look at it later. When you are sitting with your family. Please copy this link. Yes, please copy this link and let's start on the topic Beat Diabetes with Ben's Approach. How many of you know or can make a guess of what is Ben's Approach? So this webinar is going to be an interactive one. Be ready for lot of questions. Aapese kitte logon ko pata hai ki bench approach kya bataare yogi? Any guesses? Any guesses? No. So let's see what it is. And before that, I will want to share with you my story. And please bear with me because I'm not a very tech-savvy person and I'm trying to learn. Please mute yourself. So friends, this was my story, and it was a shocker when I came to know that my diabetes, you know, my sugar levels have increased tremendously. And why it was a shocker? Bhutne aunts ko bahut hi obese, 100 kgs plus, and diabetic dekha tha. Now what does that mean? That means that being a doctor, arun ko dekhkar mujhe bahut hi fear tha. So the moment I realized that my HbA1c has become 6.4, I was very, very tense and upset. I didn't know what I will be able to do. And I was 84 kgs then, 87 kgs. Every few months I used to buy a new size clothes, and because of the stress, I was going downhill as far as my health is concerned. So I reversed my diabetes, I lost weight, I brought my sugar levels in control, and that is when I started doing these webinars. Just to share knowledge and just to share what I did for myself. So aaj ke webinar mein, what we are going to talk about is first diabetes ke root causes kya hai. Is it only genetics? Is it only diet? What is it? Kya panch pillars hai jo main sochti hoon, ki yaar, important five pillars to help us work on our diabetes. Introduction of Phase 1 diet and exercise protocol, I will talk about that, and a complete overview of a 9-day program which I do with people to just guide them on these 5 pillars. Once I guide them on these 5 pillars, they come back to me in a month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months to share their success stories with me. The simple aim I have now is end of diabetes. And who is responsible for this? Ya ye kaun kar sakta hai? Anybody in the chat box? Who can do this? Who can do this, friends? Only you. You are the only person who is responsible for your sugar levels, and you are the only person who can actually help end diabetes. So if you all agree with me, give me a thumbs up on the chat box. So hello everybody, my name is Dr. Preeti Nanda Sibal. I'm mother to two boys and a wife to a loving husband. I'm MBBS from Amritsar Medical College and I've done my fellowship in functional medicine from George Washington University, US. I'm author of two books, Cyclic Keto and 4R Rapid Fat Loss Method, and I am your personal diabetes and obesity reversal expert. So congratulations everybody! So bring your right hand up in front of your face. Everybody please do this with me. Bring your right hand up in front of your face. Take it to the back of your shoulder and pat your shoulder. Congratulations that you have taken the first step to live a healthier life. Remember, you can seize control of your health and it is in your hands, and together we can start right now. So I think we all know India is becoming the diabetes capital of the world. Do we want to be the diabetes capital? Anybody and everybody, please let me know. Do we want to be the diabetes capital of the world? No. So only Kavita and Kalpana says no. Rest of us are fine, I think. And Prabjot says no. But I think rest of us are fine. You know, kids as young as 10 years, 12 years are today becoming type 2 diabetic. I'm not talking about type 1, friends. I do a separate webinar on type 1 because that's an autoimmune condition. We have to handle it differently. But type 2 diabetes, young children as young as 9, 10 years of age. They are getting mislabeled as type 1 at times. So we don't want to become the diabetes capital, and that is the reason you all are here today. So look at this. These are all the diseases which we are experiencing today, and diabetes is at the center. We all know diabetics have 70% higher chances of having cardiac disease, of having obesity, and much more. So there is this checklist on the screen which I am sharing with you guys in the chat box. Click on this checklist and please mark your answers. I've shared the link in the chat box. I'm sharing the link, sorry. Yes, so yes, the link is in the chat box. Please click on the link and just answer this checklist. Perfect. So are you ready to climb the ladder to transform yourself? I'm sure you are, and that's the reason you are here today. So let's look at— before we move forward, let's look at the difference between conventional medicine, allopathic medicine, and I'm an allopathic doctor, and functional medicine. So basically in allopathy what we do is we work on diseases, whereas in functional medicine we work on health. When we say this, why we are saying this is because in allopathy we divide different diseases, different specialties, but in functional medicine we work on inside of your health and believe that if we remove the cause, all the diseases connected to the cause will go away. Allopathy, of course, is doctor-centric, means doctor can give you a prescription and you will get the benefit. Functional medicine is where patients have to take charge of their health. Conventional medicine, you know, diabetes, we have 5-6 medicines between which we play. Functional medicine, we work on the cause, and therefore everybody has to work differently to achieve health. Conventional medicine is specialized. Functional medicine looks at the cause of the disease, not on the symptoms. Early detection of disease is conventional medicine, but in functional medicine we work on preventive approach. So what are the basics which we work on in functional medicine when we talk about diabetes? Gut health. Now what is gut? Gut is the digestive system from our mouth to our anus. Whenever we eat food, it has to get digested, it has to get absorbed in our body so that we can get the benefit and the nutrition from it, and then some things have to get excreted. Regularly. So gut health is very, very important in diabetes, obesity, and almost any disease we are talking about today, that is lifestyle diseases. Diet, very important. We have to have a low-carb, low-glycemic index diet if we are a diabetic or we, if we have chances of becoming a diabetic. Exercise, I will talk in my coming slides about what type of exercise diabetics should do. Sleep, very, very, very critical, and stress. So these are different pillars which we have to manage to neutralize our sugar levels or have normal sugar levels. So treating type 2 diabetes and preventing type 2 diabetes, we have to get at the root cause. We do a lot of testing. For example, we do study fasting insulin and postprandial insulin if we have a type 2 diabetic patient. Why? Because in type 2 diabetics, The first thing which happens is sensitivity to insulin decreases, right? Now when sensitivity to insulin decreases, which we also call hyperinsulinemia or insulin resistance, more and more insulin needs to be pulled out of the pancreas to take the food inside ourselves and give us energy. What happens because of this is unless we control hyperinsulinemia, we are not able to control diabetes, right? So this is what we do. This— so let's look at this slide. This is very, very beautiful way of summing up what can be the causes of diabetes. Nutrition and digestion, as I told you, what food you eat and whether you are able to digest that food or not. So these days we live in high stress zones, and because of that what happens is ki hamare peeth mein jo hydrochloric acid banta hai and enzymes jo release hoten, vo stress ke karan kam release hone lagte hain. Jab vo kam release hone lagte hain, toh food digest nahi ho pata thi kise. And undigested food goes into the small intestine. Now that undigested food leads to intestinal permeability or imbalance of the gut microbiome, which are the bacteria. Trillions of bacteria, fungi, parasites, viruses we have in our gut. Then comes sleep. Sleep impacts our sugar levels significantly. Aap ek din raat ko thik se ni soinge aur subeep ni sleep Sugar check karenge toh aapko dramatic pharak dikhega. So I have a patient right now, the day his sugar levels come higher, you know, they are 150 plus, I just have to ask him, what time did you sleep yesterday? He'll say at 2 AM, 1 AM. The days he will sleep on time around 11, 11:30, his sugar levels will be between 100 and 120. So now whenever his sugar levels are high, he started telling me he slept late, so his sugar levels are high. And this is not one patient, I see it in almost all my patients. Sleep is very, very critical. Cravings. Now, lot of clients would have cravings, and cravings ke baad sare reasons hota hai. But one of the reasons jo ham ignore kar jate hai, ya me pata nahi hota hai, is Chromium deficiency can lead to a lot of cravings. Iske ab dekho gaye, jittne bhi supplements aapko, sugar patients ke liye, milenge, sab mein chromium hota hai. Also, the medicines we use for diabetes, they deplete us in B12s, vitamin Bs, and chromium and all. So foods rich in those can help us with cravings. Medications, as I told you, there are medications which actually can Increase our sugar levels. All our chemotherapies and all statins, they have studies showing that they can increase our sugar levels. Toxins. Beautiful. So there are two things about toxins. One is we take in more toxins. Second thing is we are not able to eliminate toxins from our body. So, toxins, they are both through air, through water, through food. Also emotional toxins. If we stay stressed, that also adds to the toxic load of our body and our excretory capabilities are compromised. So please remember, You are not able to detoxify. Second, friends, what I am seeing in my practice these days is, you know, there are SNPs in our genes. So I generally do genetic panel for young diabetics who come to me. Kyuki, because of their genetic makeup or because of their SNP in the gene, they are not able to detoxify properly. And that is the reason toxins in your body increase, and that is the reason what happens You get symptoms like diabetes and all. Stress, of course, separately also it does add to high sugar levels. So all these things lead to hyperinsulinemia, which I showed you. It also leads to inflammation and it leads to oxidation. So all these three things actually can be visualized as having fire in the organs. How many of you think that if you have burning fire within your body, you will feel calm and nice and healthy? Aap mein se kitne log ko lakhta hai ki yaad agar jalti rehgi, aise hi, toh aap ko accha lagega. How many of you think that? No, Vaibhav, right? So can you relate to this? Can you relate to this? Sleep, cravings, medications, you feel toxic, stress, nutrition, digestion, issues. Anybody who can relate to any one of these things? Sleep, right? So friends, what I'm trying to tell you is, now Yaha se hame shuru karna hai, apni disease ko samajhna. Agar ap symptoms se shuru karenge aur sochenge ki mui sugar level 100 re hai, 120 re hai, mujhe 19 or 100 ke beech mein rakni hai, it will not lead to long-term results. But if you start here and if you start checking, khaan khaan si cheeze jo mui perfect situation mein nahi hai, And then you start seeing uske liye what all you can do. What will happen is, di re di re, jo beach mein fire hai, ye bandhne lagayi, inflammation ka mone lagayi, body mein oxidative stress ka mone lag jaega, insulin jo extra release ho rahi hai, vo ka mone lag jaegi, and hamari saree sugar levels sini ka mein gi. Hamari puri body healthier and happier feel karegi. Right? So I think this is very, very important. So how many of you think diabetes is reversible? Friends, how many of you think diabetes is reversible? So I am launching a poll. Facts about diabetes. Please answer the questions. So the first question is, is diabetes reversible? My doctor said no. How many of you think this statement is true? How many of you think this is not true? You have to just choose one answer, yes or no. So one person have just done the poll till now and that person thinks diabetes is reversible. Very good. 100% of diabetes is genetic, some people are saying. Some are saying 50%. Very good. Please, all of you take this poll. It will help you because you know what? I can share this data with you, but you will not remember it. But agar aap poll karenge kudse na, toh aap kabhi bhi iske answers nahi boolenge. And that is the reason I have taken special effort to make this poll so that you can do it. So only 13 people have participated in the poll out of 46 people. Because the 47th one is me. Only 18. Please take your time, read the questions very, very carefully and do answer. Because when you have to take your health in your own hands, then you have to know everything about the disease you can know. So, 24 people have taken the poll and I am waiting for the others to please take it quickly. So, we have crossed the 60% voting lot. I would want this to come to 75%, so I'll give you some more time. And then I will share the answers also with you. We are at 65% now. I think 2-3 more people and we will reach our 75% lot. Anybody else who wants to do the poll? Perfect. So I will share the answers. Is diabetes reversible? My doctor said no. 94% people have said yes, and I think we can all clap for you because yes, diabetes is reversible, especially type 2 diabetes. The only thing which matters is how early you start working on it and how sincerely you work on it. The second question. Oh, we have reached 69% voting. Thank you very much, friends. Diabetes is only 26% genetic. So, please check yourself today and know that Saref chabbez person genetic hai diabetes, baaki saara environmental hai. Tofir koun responsible hoa iske liye? Aap ya apke parents ya apki genes? You yourself, your environment, your lifestyle choices, right? I have tried many times but failed and there is no solution. 72% of the people who voted want a solution so that they can reverse their diabetes. Very good. So, I'm never able to follow the diet. I promise you, you will not find it difficult to follow the diet and the other pillars. Can diabetes medication be stopped? 53% have said yes and 34% have said maybe. And we can all clap for them because if you believe it, you will do it. And yes, diabetes medicines can be stopped. So these are the results. You can see them on the screen. Perfect. Thank you for your participation. I really like that. So what is this Benz approach? Benz approach is this, friends. Benz approach is the approach with which you will be able to say one day, I used to have diabetes, the way I say it. Right? It is breathing. How many of you knew that the way you breathe actually impacts your sugar levels? Give me in the chat box yes or no. Aap mein se kitne log ko ye pata tha ki breathe apke se karte ho vo bhi bahut important hai apko diabetes hogaa ki nahi iss cheez mein. Lot of us didn't know, and honestly speaking, despite being a doctor, I didn't know that 3 minutes of breathing 2-3 times a day can significantly change my sugar levels. So, you know, sometimes you do small little things and they give you big results. How many of you think, yes, because we breathe the whole day, 24/7, it's very important that we breathe right. And you know, fact share, clinic, 90% of them are not breathing right. 90%. Can you imagine? Yes, exercise. So for diabetics, you don't have to only do aerobics, please. Weight training is very, very important. So exercise plays a huge role. Nutritional supplements, diet, and stress and sleep. This is what BEND stands for, and this is what I think is the approach which can one day make you say I used to have diabetes. So let's look at breathing. Obviously, maine aapko bola hai, maine dekha hai, par aap ki ho mujhe believe karo. I have some studies to back what I'm saying. Journal of Stress Physiology said 3 times breathing a day for 3 months increases your lung capacity, decreases your HbA1c and oxidative stress. Indian Journal of Medical Research showed 45-day breathing program could improve your insulin resistance. IJAM 2012 showed that breathing decreases stress, reduces blood pressure, reduces lactic acid, improves physical energy, and increases serotonin. And we all know what is serotonin? Happy hormone. And what will that do? It will help us control our sugar levels too. Exercise. What all do you think in exercise matters? Ben diabetes— beat diabetes with Ben's approach. Timing when you exercise matters. You know what? I had this girl, 35 years, who was a diabetic and obese. She came to me and said that I want your help to lose weight and control my sugar levels. I said fine. After some time, she came and said, in her third or fourth consult, she said, I want to keep a trainer. Can I keep one? I said yes, and she started training. And you won't believe, 2 months, every time she used to come for a consultation, her weight was stagnant. Her sugar levels were just increasing further. Nothing was changing. And then I— and she was very clear that that's the only time I can exercise. There is no other time I can take out. My life is so busy, I am very stressful, I'm this, that, all of that. And then I told her, I said, you change your timings of exercise. And we monitored her sugar levels before and after exercise. She changed her timings and her sugar levels started coming, coming down, and she started losing weight. And I see this in many, many, many patients. When we exercise, our body should not break down. Our sugar levels should be used by our muscles so that the sugar should come down, right? Dawn effect is there, which is very important, and core exercises are very important. See, a lot of insulin work or sugar work happens in our muscles. Therefore, muscle training is very, very, very important for exercise. How many of you actually knew this and they have You know, made their exercising protocol basis these things. They have checked their sugar levels before, after. They know that they are working on their core and aerobic both. Yeah, so Prabjot, actually we never do it, but it's so fascinating to see Ki har chhoti cheez se hamari body mein kitna farak padta hai. Now let's look at some of the functional foods which can help diabetics. Functional foods are foods which work as medicines. Methi seeds early morning or sprouts really help you control your sugar levels. Dal chini, cinnamon. Very, very effective to control your cravings and sugar levels. Green vegetables, spirulina, it helps detoxify and adds a lot of value to your health. Tulsi leaves helps you calm down, helps you take care of your stress. And drumstick, moringa, very, very, very beneficial. Let's look at some of the supplements. Which actually help diabetics. Berberine. Berberine is a plant from which we get this, and it helps in one, decreasing cholesterol levels, decreasing insulin levels, and it also changes the gut microbiota. So the microbiome of your gut changes. So it's an amazing supplement to add to your kitty if you are a diabetic. Alpha lipoic acid, it helps in better functioning of the body, in detoxification, and in clearing up your system. And cinnamon, this is fantastic. I really love this. When your stress decreases, your sleep improves. How many of you think this is right? How How many of you have seen this, that the days they are stressed, they are not able to sleep better? Yes, Yogendra ji, Venkateshwara, Kavita, Sadanan, Sanghamitra. So this is so phenomenal, but hum fir bhi isko bhujate, right? Or ham stress ko priority dete, sleep kyu par? So I've created a small 3-minute framework for, you know, people so that their stress and sleep gets balanced. Perfect. So I'm sure if you've stayed up till now, you really want to work on your health. So I am sharing a link with you which is a pledge. Click on the link and please take this pledge before I move forward. I've shared the link in the chat box. If you take, if you've taken the pledge, just give me a yes in the chat box, please. Oh wow, congratulations Vaibhav, Shivkumar, and Ulka for taking the pledge for always being healthy and vibrant. Yes, Kiran, Manju, Rahini, so you have come many steps forward. Sayad, So let's see, what is it that you want to do? You have two ways. One, you can keep aiming and you can keep missing it slightly and thinking, I will aim it right next time. Or you can work with a coach and aim right at the center so that you get the results faster. So what approach you will want to use? Hit and trial method or just taking the help of the coach and doing it bang on right? What is it that you will want to do? Option 1 or option 2? You can write any, 1 or 2. Great. So some say 2, some say hit and try experience, and perfect, it's the choice we make. But asking for help is the best thing one can do. I know you can do a lot yourself, but having help at hand only speeds up your success. Rates increases your success rates. So this is what you will have to do, or somebody has done this for you and you can just learn from them. So this is— I'm not sharing the name of the patient. He joined me at 92.6 kgs. In 3 months, he was 10 kgs down and his sugar levels had come to less than 95. So this is something I really like, and I don't know, okay, just a minute, let me see if I can, yeah, I can. I really want all of us to see this video. I think whosoever has done this has done an amazing job of Opening our eyes.
Imagine that you own a million-dollar racehorse, a horse worth $1 million. Would you let that horse stay up all night, work all day, train drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, and eat junk food? No? Okay, would you treat a $20 dog like that? How about a $2 cat? No? Well, why do you treat me like that? Oh, hi, it's your body here. Allow me to reintroduce myself. I'm the home that you've always lived in. Surely you remember. We grew up together. And I'm writing this letter because I feel neglected in this relationship, very disappointed in what I've been seeing. With your ambition to make money, you sacrifice my well-being, which makes no sense in the least, because when I get sick, you sacrifice that same money to recuperate me. And what's even more ironic is, with all your interest in profit, you can't even see the truth, that I'm worth over a billion dollars. Don't believe me? Okay, I'll prove it. If someone came to you with a check for $1 million, right, and said, here, all I want in return is your eyesight, you will never be able to see another sunset for the rest of your natural life, would you take that deal? Okay, let's up the bid. Suppose he had a check for $10 million instead, and if you accepted, you would no longer have use of your arms or legs, would you take that deal? I can answer that for you.
No.
See, those are silly options because you know that as your body, I am worth over $1 billion. And don't get me started with the heart. I mean, if I was a company, right? This heart wouldn't get employee of the month, it would get employee of the life. Because throughout your entire existence as a person, your heart never stops working. Even when you're sleeping, it doesn't stop beating. That's every second, every minute, every day. And come to think of it, I can't recall you ever saying thanks. Anyway, I don't want this to come off as rude, Just asking for a little attention here, dude. I know you try to make me look perfect when you're Instagramming, but we both know you've been taking me for granted. Consider this an opportunity. After this video ends, don't click to the next one like you do usually. Take some time by yourself, just you and me. Place your hand on your chest and say thank you. To your heartbeat, to your eyes, legs.
So please put your hand on your heart and say thank you. Thank you to your heart. Thank you, eyes. Thank you, nose. Thank you, lungs. Thank you, arms. Thank you, legs. Thank you, gut. Thank you, brain. Thank your whole self, your body. How many of you think This is a powerful video. Yeah, video kisi ne bauti true or sahi banaye. Aapne se kitne log ko ye lakhta hai? Yes, I really like it, and every time I see it, I feel it more. So look at this, I've put this slide for us to understand. Second. Can you imagine? I've been studying now for so many years in medicine, but abhi tak maine karpaye hun ki yaar, itna sab kuch kaise body mein ek saat chalta rehta hai. This is phenomenal. This is the best machine ever created and will ever be created. So what can we do with this? So this was Vijaybala Satisharya, who came to me after being diabetic for 20 years and she was on 34 units of insulin. In a matter of few months, we stopped her insulin. And do visit my Food, Medicine and Lies YouTube channel and hear to her story. You will really like it. So friends, you have two choices, as I asked you: have me by your side or walk your path alone. But the only pledge which you have taken now is you will do something for your health. Do it. What I am offering to all of you is 9 days program, introductory program, to help apply this Bens approach in your life and decrease your sugar levels and lose weight. What I can promise is 9 days is too— not too much of a commitment. But 9 days is enough to get you in a routine which will help you over the period of days and months. So this is another patient of mine, Gurut. She actually is in a very, very reputable hospital at a very senior position, and she was on metformin for, I think, number of years, and everybody had told her she will never be able to leave her medicines. And here she is with no medicines and just enjoying life, fitter and happier than ever before. So what is it that we offer in 9 Days Program? You will have 3 classes. The program starts on the Sunday. You will have 3-minute framework for stress-free life. Motivational supports, buddy for support, sleep hygiene monitoring, and laughter yoga. We will give you diet for diabetics, we will give you dos and don'ts, and we will make you implement that for the 9 days with us. So every day you will share your sugar levels and your diet, and we will help you personalize it during the classes. Also, we will tell you what should be your exercise routine. And remember, 20 minutes a day, once or twice a day, is enough. The only thing is you need to know what time you need to exercise, what is the relationship of food and exercise. And I've told you, 20 minutes once or twice is good for us. So the program starts on the 30th of January at 8 PM, which is a Sunday. And what you will get in this program is your sugar levels will decrease, you will lose weight, your energy levels will increase, you will have a happier mood. We will have 3 online 1-hour classes from 8 PM to 9 PM, which will be on Zoom. You will have a detox plan. You will get 3 diet plans so that you can follow them later also, and you will get some recipes to control diabetes. So this is another client of mine. His sugar levels were never less than 370 to 400, and after our program, his sugar levels came down to 80-85. And I just spoke to him about few months back after 2 years of doing this program. He said, Dr. Preeti, I'm still not on sugar medicines again. So are you ready to reverse your diabetes? If yes, this is what I have to offer. The program cost is ₹11,000, but for all you guys who've joined me today, you only have to pay ₹5,000. You can pay by credit card, by Google Pay, or any way you want to do. I am going to paste this link in the chat box so that you can copy it, and if you want, you can use it, you know, And I will take your questions now. You can also Google Pay or Paytm at this number. Yes, Webber, the recording will be available on YouTube. So this is a message from Padmavati, who was a part of a similar program which I did 4 months back. My fasting sugar levels came down from 200 to 162, and PP from 260 to 190 in 9 days. Unbelievable! Why? Because she was never able to bring her sugar levels down even by 5-10 points, and she had been waiting to see this happen for years. So this is a message from Renuka, another participant from the same program. I must say, really, Mystic, that how I got reconnected with you after so many years. I must say that every time I meet you, I see you at a newer level, and I know with you I can defeat my diabetes. I, of course, have reversed my diabetes. You can look at this video on YouTube. Now, this is Mrs. Vijay saying, this program was indeed an eye-opener. Certain things that I'd learnt earlier had gone to the background, and all of them came at the forefront. Ragi, jowar, rice flour now has become regular, and my yesterday's sugar levels was 99. 9. My insulin units have dropped down by 10 units. I'm feeling more energetic and I strongly recommend this program from Reethanda. So the schedule is going to be like this: Saturday class, 30th January, Thursday, 4th January, and last class on Sunday, 8th January. And you can know how to use this BENS approach to reverse your diabetes. Thank you for your patient hearing, and I am up for questions. If you have any questions, you can just unmute yourself and ask me. Yes, you can lose— without losing weight, you can reverse your diabetes. You can improve it much better. So Ashish asks, what is fasting insulin? As I told you, Insulin is very, very important that you know fasting and PP both. Fasting insulin should anywhere be between 4 and 6. You have to do your PP insulin with it so that you know where are you in that graph of being a diabetic. Fasting insulin value 6.77, perfect. Type 2 diabetes can definitely be reversed, Ashish. Do your PP insulin with 100 grams of glucose and your vitamin D levels also. And we can— this Ben's approach can help you reverse your diabetes. It depends on medicines. So 9 days is not a large commitment or a huge commitment for you. Join it and see your body how it moves. Yes, if your sugar levels control, then you can definitely stop your medicines. And I have patients who have stopped their medicines 3-4 years back and they are still not on any medicines. Keto diet in reversing diabetes, it's a wonderful, wonderful diet to work With the only thing is, if you have adrenal fatigue, if you have thyroid problems, you should not do keto diet. So whenever you do keto diet, Kiran Mai, always do under guidance at least for 1 month. I prefer low carbohydrate balanced eating plan for diabetes reversal because that stays for a longer time with you. But yes, agar aapka PP insulin bahut zada hai, agar aapka PP sugar bahut zada hai, then keto will do wonders. So ek baar apne test karrakar, you know, you must check with somebody who is an expert at keto whether you should be doing keto or not. Shalini, very difficult to say ki aapke husband ki medicines kap tak bandh kar painge. Sab ki kar pate hai. Just the difference is some people are able to take the journey on, on their own after 9 days. Some need 3 months, some need 6 months. So that varies, right? Indu, I'm 51, having weight of 54 kg, 6.4 for last 3 years. How will your program— so Induji, I don't focus on weight loss, I focus on your sugar levels. And I focus on your— on healthy eating plan with exercise, with breathing, with sleep, with stress management. So it's a holistic program, and then your body adjusts as per its own requirements. If we have rice, there are different ways of eating rice, and if we have chapati, we can add other, you know, attas to it to make it low glycemic index.
