Can milk cause constipation? I am Dr. Preeti Nanda Sibal and I practice functional medicine in Gurgaon. Yes, and you know, there have been many studies which have proven this. 2013, journal named Nutrients, a very high impact factor journal, Crowley and other authors published a trial where a crossover study was done when children were given cow's milk versus children were given soya milk. Finally, the result was that children who were given soya milk did not report of constipation. Why? Soya has 1 gram of fiber in 125 ml of milk, whereas how much fiber does cow milk have? Zero. Think about it and then think, if you are constipated, what is that one change you must do today so that your constipation is taken care of. Thank you.
