In this instructional video, Dr. Priti Nanda Sibal demonstrates how to prepare a low‑carb keto kadhi (curry). She begins by dry‑roasting half a teaspoon of jeera (cumin) until lightly browned, then grinding it for aroma. She emphasizes using curd made from full‑fat milk (about three‑quarters cup) as the base, whisking it with water to achieve a smooth consistency. Instead of traditional besan, she adds one tablespoon of keto atta (low‑carb flour) to thicken the gravy, whisking again. A level spoon of coconut oil is melted into the mixture, after which standard curry spices—salt, coriander powder, turmeric (haldi), and mustard (rai)—are added, with optional green chilies for heat. The kadhi is cooked until it thickens, then garnished with fresh coriander and the roasted jeera powder. Dr. Sibal suggests serving the keto kadhi with cauliflower rice, almond or coconut roti, or other low‑carb sides, and optionally incorporating keto‑friendly vegetables for added fiber and fullness. The video concludes with a call to enjoy and share the dish.

Hi, welcome to the next recipe from Food Medicine and Life channel. We are going to make keto curry today, so I've taken 1/2 teaspoon of jeera. That is curcumin, and I'm going to roast it. So the moment this turns light brown, you know that it is now good, and we can put it in the mortar and grind it. So I generally avoid using mixie as much as I can. But I do use it where required, but I prefer to use this more crunchy because this flavor is not possible to mix. Welcome to our channel and we are going to make keto curry today. So I have taken this almost 3/4 cup of curd made from full fat milk. So please remember, whenever we are doing anything with keto, full fat milk is a necessity. So I'm just putting it in a bowl, right? I will add some water in it and I will whisk it. So in normal curry we do add besan, right? But in keto curry we will not be adding besan. If you want, you can add some keto atta to improve the consistency, right? And we will do that. So I whisked it properly. It's now good consistency. Now I'm going to add keto atta, which is 1 tablespoon, right? So that it will do the work of what besan does in normal curry, right? And now I'm going to whisk it again properly. Okay, so now when my mixture is ready, we are going to add some coconut oil. I will add one more spoon, level spoon of coconut oil. Now once this is added and the oil is melted, I'm going to add this mixture Exactly the way we do for normal curry. If you know how to make curry, then you will find this recipe very simple but at the same time very, very yummy and nice. So now, till the time this is going to, you know, thicken on gas, I am going to add salt, coriander powder, Haldi and rye in curry. So you can also sauté rye in the beginning. I will add it like this. If you want, you can also add green chillies as per your taste, just for taste. This is very, very simple, but it will come out very tasty. And how will you have it? You can have it with cauliflower rice, and you can have it with almond roti, coconut roti, or whatever you generally eat on the left side. So it's very, very nice. If you want, you can also add some keto vegetables in this. The way we add potato and all in our normal curry, you can add keto vegetables in this, and that would add a lot more fiber to this. It will make it more filling, more delicious, and it will be a complete meal in itself. See, the keto kadhi is ready. Before serving, I'm going to just garnish it with little coriander, right, and this jeera powder because It really adds to the aroma, fragrance, and makes our water mouth-watering. So serve it, enjoy it, and share it with your friends and spread the word.
