Dr. Betty Murray argues that high-dose testosterone therapy, not estrogen reduction, prevents breast cancer. Doctors Glazier and Donovitz treated over 3,500 women for up to 15 years and saw an 85% risk reduction when started at 50. Murray suggests starting in the 30s could lower risk by up to 95%.

you need to get your DHEA and testosterone up to more youthful levels because testosterone is a woman's primary sex hormone. Just, it's not estrogen, it's testosterone and it's dehydroepiandrosterone. And so you've got to provide those for your body to work. And as a side effect, you will reduce your risk of breast cancer dramatically. Glazier in, in Ohio and Donovitz in Georgia have between them over 3,500 women that have had high-dose testosterone, high dose for old women, low young women's doses of testosterone over a 15-year period. And they cut their, their risk of breast cancer by 85%. And that was starting in their 50s. If we were to start them in their 30s before the breast cancer is getting started, back when that early atypia is beginning, we can probably reduce breast cancer by 95%. Okay, so let's worry less about treatment and let's not let women get breast cancer in the first place.
