The pain that you've gone through doesn't define you as a person. It's just part of your journey. And that's something that I carried with me for a long time. It actually led me to do this. I mean, I took an early retirement and I thought, you know what? That was the worst time in my life. And I just, I want people to understand there is light at the end of the tunnel. It's just not giving up, not giving up, knowing that this isn't your fate, that you're just, well, this is my life. I just soon accept it. No one has to accept a life of pain and abuse. Might be where you are now, but it doesn't have to be where you stay. And so there is light at the end of the tunnel. You just have to take the first step. And that's actually just saying, I think I need some help. I think I just need to know more about this. And that's it. Just that one step can actually change your life and your children's life and, you know, your whole future.
