3 Learning lessons about purpose this week!

Drew Bridewell shares three ways to live with purpose: weekly calibration to stay focused on growth, reconnecting with your top priorities at different time scales, and building a weekly ritual around something that brings you joy. He suggests journaling and aligning daily behavior with what matters most.

Today is Mother's Day and here's a tribute to the mothers who dedicate, facilitate, love, care and nourish this beautiful world. Thank you for all that you do. This first week of May is gone. Time is flying by. The good news. But good news is we still have 23 days left to absolutely win the month of May. Now what does that look like for you? I'd recommend journaling about it. Absolutely journaling about it. Like I'm doing right now. This is the month of purpose. And since we're connecting to our big why, having fun, building joy and excitement every single day, I want to encourage you to raise your game this upcoming week to show up better for yourself and whatever is driving your big why now? If you need support, then be sure to ask for it now. When I think about purpose in the world of a maker, I think about all the tiny little decisions we get to make in and out every single day. Not only in our work, but in our personal life. Now I know through my high performance habit training that the rituals and routines that surround us are connected deeply to the outcomes we experience in our life. The better and more positive routine you set up, the better the outcome. So when you know this, why is it so difficult to have a true behavioral change? Well, the problem is the relationship you have with the purpose. How close are you to it? Do you reference it or grow your intention and live congruently with purpose at hand? Do you visit it once a year? Do you make it a daily practice? How often? And when it comes to executing a world class user experience, it's no different. The intentions is what changes and transforms not only people, but the experiences we have with them. Now let's not only design better digital experiences, let's bridge the gaps for our own pursuits of happiness and joy while we crush it in this digital world. You with me? Let's go. Let's have an amazing week. We'll have the purpose morning and afternoon trainings uploaded earlier this week in the platform. So if you missed last month's training, no worries, they're all up now and you can go through training map number two training map number one and and you can move on and just keep crushing this month. So I wanted to share three of my biggest learnings this week. Number one, weekly calibration. Connect to the growth loop and I'll share a video of this inside the email. But elevate yourself and keep using this framework to stay focused on what matters. Number two, reconnect re establishment and acknowledge the most important intentional priorities. This year, this month, this day, every day. Number three, make exploring and creating a weekly ritual. What brings you joy? What helps you become a better maker. Connect to that every single week. Make it a priority. You can do it. All right? I believe in you. And until next time, remember, we all have another level, and and it's up to us to achieve it harmoniously. No stress, no pressure. Just grit, passion, and joy. Let's have a great week, y'. All. Your coach, Drew Bridewell. Now also, stay up to date with my latest moving photos and Instagram, drewbridewell and nextlevelux.
