Hello, everybody. Welcome in. I'm just getting situated, getting started. We're about to start just a fun session about journaling your heart out. And we're gonna dive deep into that in a second. Just getting situated and getting everybody in. So take your time getting situated. Woohoo. Let's go, Trey. And just take your time getting in, get situated. What I want you to do, though, while we get people in the door is I want you to open up another browser because I'm going to want you to follow along with me today as we journal our heart out. And we just talk about the journal tool in general here at Growth Day, which is one of my favorite things to do. Literally journaled every day for the last. I think if I go back, I'll open up the app in my phone. That's been when I started doing this. Because you know what the beautiful thing about this is? A journal doesn't have to just be something you write in a notebook or it doesn't have to be something even inside the Growth Day app, where you're doing a digital journal, it can. You can journal in a lot of other ways, from writing on a piece of paper to, you know, even just writing on a little, like note, little note cards. There are ways to journal that go beyond just, you know, your notebook or digital journal. So we're going to talk about that today. So just getting people in here, getting situated while I do that, if you want to introduce yourself, if you're kind of new to Growth Day or if this is your first growth group in a while, that way we just know how to support you best as you're in here in this experience. But you know what, I know it's Friday and I know everybody's got a lot of things going on. It's like I'm in the. I'm in the Eastern time zone, so it's 2:30 my time. So curious where all of you are at. And then also, if you have any questions that you do have about Growth Day, I can answer those as well throughout this entire show. So let's go. Let's do it. All right. Just going to wait just a couple more minutes. But yeah, feel free to get situated on the agenda. We're going to talk about, like, how do you use your journal, when do you use your journal, and why should you use your journal? And these are just really, just going to be really fun tactics that I'll talk about. But then we'll of course bring some people up on the stage too, if you want to share Any of your thoughts? It's gonna be fun. All right. Oh, awesome. Northwest, northeast Ohio. Not too far. Okay. I grew up in Ohio, so go Ohio. Fifth growth group. Very nice this week, Teresa. That's awesome. Hope you are getting a lot out of it. Let us know too. Especially after this growth group is up and over. There's going to be a feedback button at the top of the page. If you got feedback about this session or feedback about any of the other growth group sessions, let us know. We read all that feedback in the product and it helps us make it better. So if there's things that you know, this, this could be better or this topic could be better, or we could use some more training in this around the Growth Day app. I'd be happy to hear it because I'm going to be here every single Friday for you, unless I'm traveling, but. But we're going to be here giving you just tips, tricks, and best practices on how to get the most out of the Growth Day app. And this week we're talking about the journal, so. Woot, woot. All right, let's go. All right. Trying to try. Okay. Nice. Amir, Very nice to meet you. My name is Drew Bribelle. If y', all, this is your first time. I'm head of product and head of design here at Growth Day. I've been a part of the Growth Day app since. Since it was, you know, conceived and we built it from the ground up. So from zero to one, I was part of that team, that crew that brought this app to you. So I pretty much answer any questions that you have about it. And also, I know it's a lot to think about too, coming into a new app and coming into a new ecosystem and environment, but really what we're trying to do here at Growth Day is we're trying to make self improvement a way of life. We're trying to make it be a lot more seamless and easy for you to have the tools to have the community and to have the live coaching and, you know, growth opportunities and courses that you might need to kind of just up your game or accelerate what your dreams, your ambitions and the things that you're trying to do. So we're here to support you in that. So welcome. Welcome, welcome. Yes. And like Rachel said, it is all in one app. So. I know. I mean, we could just do a quick little tour too of that, but we're going to do the journal today. So again, go ahead and open up a new window. Command N or see command N or control N If you're on a different screen, I'm going to go into my screen sharing. And just so you're aware, I know that this is kind of small, so if you can't, I mean, use this as a reference. But I know that we're sharing a screen inside of a screen, right? So what I want to encourage you to do is just follow along and just like kind of use it as an eyesight. But you know, you might not be able to read every single little piece of text in here as well, but that's completely fine. And inside the Growth day app, inside of this growth group, there's a little icon up in the top, right. If you do want more space so you can go up to that little icon, it's next to the share button. And there's a Spotlight mode and there's a gallery mode and a full screen mode. If you just want to sit back, relax and enjoy the show, like you can go to full screen mode if you want kind of more of a two up of gallery, which is whoever is showing and presenting, you can go to the gallery mode. But, but Spotlight is really just calling out whatever we want to be focused on the screen at that given time. So even if I'm just gonna. There we go. Get this rolling. Oh, so did I post last Friday's recording or using the planner? In some places I have the uploaded right now there is about seven or eight different videos that I've recorded. Right now we're figuring out how to best produce those in post production. So I, I am going to save those and then what I think we'll end up doing is kind of creating a kind of like a little curated list of all these videos that I'm doing just so we can best support you. Because I know there's a lot of noise and things that happen in between a growth group. So not all the content is maybe relevant for everybody. So we're just finding fine tuning how we can best do the post production for it. So just bear with us on that. But if you also have like more questions and things, just feel free to DM in the community and we'll get, we'll get after it and help you going in there. So cool. Okay, I'm just reading through some of the other comments and chat and then we're just going to get after it. Cool. So Amir, I know this is your first day, so without further ado, let's like do a quick little rapid tour of the app because when you first come to the app, you're probably you are probably a new striver. And what version of or what type of trial are you on, Amir? And we can actually like, I can talk to that a little bit more. So you can just like, you know, get the most out of your trial period while you're here. And then also the rest of the crew can kind of help too, if they need to. All right, so we have our pillars on the left sidebar. So right now if I hover over the left sidebar, I have my journal, which is number two on your keyboard. If you wanted to go to your journal, we have. Let's see, my. My Internet's going a little slower now. Be pacing a little bit. So we have two for journal, we have three for life scores. So if you just click three on your keyboard, you can go to live scores. If you go to four on your plan four is the keyboard shortcut for plan five is challenges. And just a big shout out. Last week we released a new challenge called the Identity Shift Challenge with Anthony Trucks. Anthony Trucks is like an ex NFL linebacker, American Ninja Warrior, just an epic human being. And he's got a really impactful five day challenge for you. You can go in, you can get growth coins, you can. We've gamified it. It's a lot of fun. It's already been 3,000 people that have joined. And then there's other challenges that you can try out too. We recommend typically going through a challenge a quarter because it gives you time to practice the things that you're doing in the challenge. But also you can come back and retake the challenge and then get a little bit more out of it the next time you do it. Because just like journaling, you know, if you do these things over and over and over, you get better at it every time you practice it, every time you get after it and do it. Oh, awesome. Right on, right on. Yeah. And even if you don't get all the. There's different tiers of the challenge. So if you come in, you can always go back through and do it again. It's just super great. Oh, yeah, Trey. So yes, we do have shortcuts, so. So again, if I go back and finish it, six is the learn experience, which we're working on improving the learn experience, so you can expect some updates there. And then seven is the community, which is where you can get exposed, post questions, get connected to the rest of the, you know, the ecosystem and all the other people that are inside the tool. And wow, I'm experiencing some low Internet speeds. It might be Because I'm streaming in here in the growth group. But it's coming. It's all good. It's coming. And here, let me just. Minus my screen a little bit. So it's looking pretty big. Alright, there it is. So it loads. There's a post anything feed where you can see all the elements in the product and it's just still loading kind of slow, but it should be in there for you pretty quick. But. All right, so without further ado, we, we talked about kind of these like quick little keyboard shortcuts. You also for anything that you're doing in the app, if you're taking notes, if you're taking notes across challenges, Amir or the, like this growth group even right now, or if you're taking notes in a challenge or in a course, what you'll be able to do is get to your notes in the very top right hand corner of the app. This will take you to your kind of all repo notes. So it gives you a tab of all the different types of notes that you're taking in the app. And then what it would be doing is just funneling all those in and you can pin them, you can click back on these and go back. And I gotta tell you, I have like hundreds of notes too. So it's loading. I mean, it's loading a little slow right now. I have 188 notes. I've attended 112 live events, I've done 49 courses. And you know, you can kind of see the other, the other elements inside the tool, like challenges and, and here we go. Yeah, showing like a lot of things. Oh, no problem, no problem. All right, cool. So I hope this is helpful. So far today we are talking again about, you know, how to use journal and I've already showed you a little bit. Like I put in a little notes over already in my notes pillar and it already showed up here. So if you're doing the same thing, just remember your notes will always. You'll have that at your fingertips. And if you click the title inside your notes, it will redirect you back to that course page. So it'll just like drop you right back in to the experience. But today is all about journaling your heart out. So let's just actually do that together. All right, here we go. All right, so the journal has been one of these like things that, you know, when we first started building this and we first started thinking about like, well, how can we design a journal that is super, super like simple and easy to use, but also gives you, the prompts, the questions and the reflections that we can provide to you that are also research backed. And there's already 140 of these research evidence based, really solid prompts that are inside the tool that you can just filter through. So if you're on the homepage and you see a, the journal component there and a component just like, you know, a little module on that homepage you can filter through and sort through multiple prompts, you don't have to use the same one. But if you find value in consistency and you find value in these kind of like anchors and milestones in your process, then I would highly encourage these four prompts that I'm going to show you right now. The first one is the morning mindset. Now, if you ever heard of Brendan's, our CEOs high performance planner, this was the analog version before this, this digital product even existed, right? This high performance planner had multiple years of research and Britain created it after with his High Performance habits book. And these two things were like kind of companion apps. So you had all these trainings. But then we had this analog version of the planner. So our objective was to digitize this planner so that you can have a single source of truth for where you document and store your reflections. The things that you're learning, the things that you're learning from your meetings, the things that you're trying to get better at, the things that you're learning just throughout your journey. Now what we've learned is that journaling is not just like a, like kind of something that you go through the motions. It's something that has a dramatic impact on how you're calibrating yourself, how you're kind of being able to communicate your own emotions and feelings and desires and putting it into words. That way it's not just floating in your brain and you're just like constantly like, well, what do I think about this? What do I feel like you're really in touch with what's going on in your life, what's really going on with the things that you want to do and how you're going to show up throughout this process. So this is an intention builder. This is a way for you to just navigate those complexities. So I know that you're probably like already thinking like, well, this is a lot of questions to ask. This is a lot of questions, but it really only takes a little, a little beat. So I did one earlier and I did it well yesterday and I was really excited yesterday because we had a new release and I was just Excited about that new release in one word that could describe how I wanted to show up was I just wanted to be motivated. Yesterday, this is the word that came to me that I felt that I wanted to be there for my team and I wanted to be motivated then somebody that needed me on my game. I was really thinking about my team yesterday because of all the hard work that they put into the project release. I wanted to make sure that I was, you know, just being genuine with the love that I have for my team. So I wanted to give back to my team a situation that might stress me out or trip me up for yesterday was there was just lots of priorities and I wanted to stay focused on the needle movers. I wanted to like and I just wanted to tell myself like, all is good, all is good. There's a lot of priorities coming. But it doesn't mean that I have to get off my track. So really, really love that. I wanted to, you know, surprise my friend with a note gift. One of my favorite PMs of all time. His name's Arun. I just wanted to give him some love and support him and give him a high five from, from afar. One action that I took yesterday to demonstrate excellence or real value was I posted a video inside the community that talked about our new feature update. You know, it's like those sorts of things. Like I know I could have done it, but the intention that I set before I started my day with doing this morning mindset allowed me to execute that with care, love and support. Like, I had a really good intention before I actually did that thing. Also, you know, big step outside of my comfort zone. I think I'm always going to still be working through how I create content for like my social media. So like creating new reels and just being like real raw with how I, how I want to teach and how I want to show up and I want to do these things. And then I went through these other questions. So this is just one of the high performance morning mindset prompts. But let's get to it. Let's just say that you don't want to do this. It's totally fine. You can just clear that prompt in the top right and then you can go to the next one. And if you just want like one single question, then you can jump over to the growth prompt prompts and then what that's going to do is it's going to give you a new prompt that you can just go in and fill out. And if you click, keep clicking this, it's Just going to keep cycling through new ones. And that might be kind of like a hidden feature for the product, but you can, like, clear it and then you can just come back in and do it again. But I just wanted to give you a little pro tip. You can just click it as much as you want and get new ones coming in. And like I said, there's over 140 of these things, and we're still adding them as we go, as we learn, as we find ways of improve it. So you can just get after it and have a good time with it. Let me just read the questions real quick and just see if there's anything here coming in. Oh, I love it. Yeah. And if you're using the journal right now and you're like, wow, I didn't know I could do this. Or I really like. I really like that prompt or that way of doing it, I'd love to hear from you. And then maybe even later Today, we have 41 minutes left, but if you do want to come up on stage and share how journaling has helped you in your career and your path, I would love to hear you. It's gonna be fun. All right, so another big one besides the morning mindset is the evening reviews. So, oh, my gosh, this evening review has been a really nice reflection because this is kind of like, okay, you just had a mega day and before you transition. And we, we really like transition moments. And Brennan teaches a lot about transitions. But that transition, like that five minute, like, reflection that you have before you go into your family, before you start, like, the new thing and the next meeting, before you just transition to something else different than what you were been focused on maybe for the full day or even for a couple hours. That reflection transition is incredibly important. That's a great thing, a great time to come in and do a journal. Like when we're talking about. When do you journal? Well, you can journal before meetings, you can journal after meetings, and you could journal even taking notes about what you're learning and what you're observing inside the meetings that you have. And then you have it date stamped. You know when you did it, you have the time. And then you could also go back into your calendar and you can see what you did on that day. So over in the far right, we have an integrated calendar that allows you to kind of cycle through the days that you are on, and you can see what you were doing throughout the month, and you can even go back to previous months. Now, if you think about it, this is just the Tip of the iceberg as far as what we could do long term to support you in making sure that, you know, you're creating good, healthy habits. But I think this is just a good example that, you know, you have the ability to start architecting your path and just being incredibly intentional and reflective about what it is that you're doing every day. And that sort of intention is what's going to help build better habits. It's going to help you be more conscious and more aware of your surroundings. And that's really what leads to high performance consistency over time and just, like, better outcomes. So love that. So the prompt. Ow. I love that. Trey, thank you for sharing that. It is a game changer when you build in that consistency. So let's go. I think that's so cool. All right, so the evening review. A couple questions here and a moment that I really appreciate today. I typically love calling out, like, the moments of my team doing something amazing or something that I really advanced. And I like doing that because it just reiterates to me how the practice is going and how the intention is going with my day and what I'm doing. A situation or task that I handle well today. This is really helping you stay on track with the things that are working well and the things maybe that aren't working so well. Because the next question is something that I realized or learned today is like, those are the opportunities for you to kind of do that redirect that course, correct that recalibration and that recalibration that redirect and that. That kind of acknowledgement of what's going on is what's going to help you show up better for the next day. So even if you had a really crappy day and you need to come in and reflect about it, you. You release that in this journal. You release it, you get it out there, and then you're moving on in the next day to show it better for your family, for your team, for yourself. Bada bing, bada boom. That's. That's really the ticket that we're trying to go. And I know there's hard times. Everybody's got those really challenging days, but when you have those, you know, sometimes you just need to release that tension. You know, there's a release meditation that Brennan does as well. It's all over YouTube, millions and millions of views. And this one is kind of like if you need directed meditation where, you know, it has beautiful music and you're going into a place in your room or your house, it's Zen like. And it's just going to allow you to kind of slow things down and to start the release meditation technique, take some deep breaths and then come in and journal. Those can be really good, like companion habit stacking for you if you haven't yet done any meditation or if you haven't ever done any journaling before too. Because I gotta say, before there was a there when there wasn't a tool like this, I would be in sketchbooks all day long. I'd be like, you know, I'd have like so many of these things. And the problem with having it, I mean I love writing and I will continue always to be a drawer and writer and just a crafter. But when it's in a digital form, I can go back to the days or the months that I was and I can see the overall work. I can see the overall reflections that I had. I can see how it, how it's just there and I can just go in and look at it and I can reflect even more. And I think down the road there's opportunities for us in product to be able to, you know, help bring back reflections and memories for you, to help really kind of look how far you've come, look how you're doing. And I think there's going to be fun things that we can explore down the road with that. So we'll see what happens with it. We're going to keep learning about it and this is going to be super helpful. So another couple of things for this evening review. I could have made today even better if I right another way of setting that positive intention and going into the next element. Something that could have helped me feel more connected to others today would have been, you know, thinking about other people and how you support those other people. And another really positive thing to do. And then of course, you know, it's going to be with when you got the founder and CEO of this company, Brendan Burchard, who is a high performance coach and also certifies high performance CHPC Certified high performance coaches. I'm also a certified high performance coach and just thinking about, well even as a high performance coach and me coaching other people, what can I. What. How can I have that self talk to myself and one that I come back to all the time is that the, you know, one that Brendan says quite a bit. And I just really, I think it's amazing thing. It's like the future holds good things for you. You know, you, you have what it takes. Yeah, you have what it takes. The future holds good things for you, you can achieve that next level and you have, you can do this, believe in yourself and like just stuff like that, like self affirmation and self talk. Like, even though I'm head of product and head of design, like, I'm still talking, I'm still giving myself that self talk every day because it motivates me, it makes me excited and it gives me confidence and it's encouraging. And you know, you, we have to be our, you know, we have to love ourselves and be our own coaches too. And you know, if you're also part of this platform and a part of this experience, we're gonna support you along the way because we're all in this together. We're all going through challenging things. We all went through, you know, the last couple years together, but now it's time. It's time to become productive. It's time to, you know, find better ways and better habits for ourselves that meet us where we're at and that help us kind of move through these things. So that's what we're here to do and we're gonna have some fun doing it. Alright? So, evening review. Hope this was helpful. The next one. Like I talked to you about the growth prompts, which are things that will continually, you know, you can continually change. Then we go into these longer reflections. The longer reflections are things to do like on a weekly or monthly cadence. So like weekly reviews or monthly reviews. Again, five or six really good questions. Now if you are in technology or you're in a, you're, you know, kind of a higher pace tempo, team or project or environment, these are things that you can do as almost status updates at the end of the week. And I think these are important because at the end of the week you kind of, you had so much movement, so much activity and so many things happen throughout the week. But how are you able to capture that magical week in a reflection? And we support that here with this weekly journal. So three great things that happened to me last week. Well, I'm going to end up doing this on Sunday because a Sunday is like a planning and a reflection day for me. I like doing this with a cup of coffee, listening to some music after maybe a workout, and then I'll end up coming in here and doing this and then I end up recording some things on Sundays. But this is a way for me to kind of recalibrate. All right, three great things that happened to me last week. We shipped the video player. We are close to hiring some new candidates on our teams. We also got super crazy. Aligned on some new directions that we're working towards in the product. Oh my gosh, like three amazing things. Cannot wait to continue that momentum next week. The main struggle I faced with the past week was and well this past week had to re, go into a whole new kind of flow. Let's let somebody in a whole new flow. On getting my son integrated into his new school. We just are. We've been traveling and exploring the whole country and we're now in North Carolina and we're exploring a new school. So the thing was we've homeschooled him for eight years. Eight years. And now he's transitioning into like kind of a three day kind of agile learning center, which is kind of like a self guided learning environment. And what we needed to do was prepare like all these new changes, you know, kind of nightly routine changes, morning routine changes, preparing, preparing meals and doing different things. Because before we self directed that entire energy throughout the day. So this was something I was struggling with. I had to figure out how to do it really quickly. But we had planned for it for over a year. But it's still when a time comes and you got a lot of stuff you got to do while running the shop and doing other things, you know, reflections really help with that. So I'll reflect on that and then I'll also examine how I did this week. I'll get a score from him and I'll get a score from my wife and figure out how I can do better in the following week. Boom. And that's what we do because this is like we're always growing. And I even posted today on my social media, like learning is an evolution. Like we don't have to, you know, we don't have to skip the learning process. We can keep learning and we can just need to do at least like 1% every day a little bit better and then we're going to be fine. So that was something that I learned. And these, these reflections are things that I want to encourage you to do on a weekly basis. This is about journaling your heart out, right? So this is how you can do it. Two things I learned about myself this past week were that I love working at Growth day one. And I mean I kind of knew I like working here. But the second thing is like I love this community. Like if you go into the community and see like how supportive everybody is, you even go into like the routines, morning routines and other things. I just love how supportive the community is and I'm just really grateful and Honored to be here with all of you and just to be jamming. I know we have a small group today, like six people, but, like, it's so much fun to be here with you and to support you and to just see you excel. I love that. Two things I learned about others, my partner, my loved ones, my friends, team, customers, etc. Like, these are other ways for you to, like, go outside of, like, your focus areas and think about your relationships and think about how you're performing with your relationships. What are things that you could be doing, you know, it's Friday. What are we doing for our families this weekend? What are we doing for our families to have a little bit of excitement and spontaneity this weekend? Maybe we go to the arcades, Maybe we go on a big, massive hike. Maybe we just work out together. Maybe we just play cards together. Whatever it is, like, think about what your relationship think about your relationships and things that you can do even to facilitate that learning experience with them later on. You're going to really enjoy that. All right, last one here. One decision that I could have made last week to make my life better. I mean, these are profound questions, right? They're not easy until you get used to just doing them and just like, you know, writing out your feelings and emotions and learning to trust your intuition so that you can just write and you can just have grace and vulnerability for yourself to just write how you're feeling. And I love this because, you know, there's just always things that we can be doing. Like, I think one thing that I'm learning more and more and more in this technology, in the technology industry, you know, I've worked at LinkedIn, I worked at Facebook, I worked@lynda.com envision a lot of really great companies. And I've been inside these big giant ecosystems of how high performing teams get things done. And the thing that just rangs true for all of these teams is that the power of feedback and the power of consistent feedback is an absolute deal breaker and a big time accelerator to just improving your overall culture and improving your overall, like, vibe. And that goes also into your family life. Like, how are you giving feedback to your spouse, to your kids? How are you allowing them to give feedback to you about how you performed or how you showed up for a certain event or certain thing? And those things just really matter, right? Feedback matters. It's a gift, you know, but receiving it and giving it is an art. It is a practice. The more you can do it, the better you can get. There's a lot of really great books. Like, one of my favorite books on feedback is thanks for the Feedback. And it's like really understanding the multiple arrays of how you can give, receive and learn when you need to give some difficult feedback or you need to receive some difficult feedback. So more things and I think just are really impactful. The last one here is like monthly reviews. Okay, see you later. Yes, thank you so much for stopping by. Have a beautiful rest of your day. See you later. All right, for this next one, we are talking about the monthly review. Monthly reviews are kind of like very big, very big, like, kind of bigger chunks of, you know, the time. But I guess it's really even, even more helpful when you have a full month of journaling and they can go back in and just like quickly look like three great things that happened to me last month. Well, we started school in September. We start building new rituals, routines and habits that really were fun, supportive, and helpful for the family. And we're making some awesome hires here at Growth Day. So super fun stuff. Three things I learned about myself this past month were that there's always another level. There's always another thing that I can learn. So it's not about me stressing about the things that I need to learn. It's about me lining those things up. And right now I'm reading. Let's see, what's the book? The book that I'm reading right now is go to Audible. It's CEO Excellence. And literally today it was just learning about, like the board, the board capabilities and tapping into the wisdom of elders. And I love this stuff. So learning about CEO excellence just so I can better support the company and what the company's doing. Also, like, you know, months before that, I was reading Ed's book on the power of one more. And then like, even before that I was reading See how are you really with Jenna, with Jenna Kutcher and then Herding Tigers by Todd Henry. All these creative. I mean, this is so much fun, but you gotta have a lineup of books ready to go that you're continually tapping into that really align with what you're trying to do long term in your career or what you're trying to do in your project work. It's so much faster and better for your learning to integrate the books and the knowledge that you kind of need to learn that kind of stretch you that are like two to three levels above where you think you're at to kind of, you know, help expand you. And we can all do that and support you Here as well. Because even the Daily fire, which Amir, if you're going through and you're at a starter plan, a pro plan or an all access plan, the starter plan is like the minimum what you need to listen to. The Daily Fire. And then there's the challenges which you can try for free. And then there's the growth groups, which all these growth groups are free. You just have to, in order to host them, you have to have at least a PRO account. And we give you 10 free growth groups when you start in a pro account. But all these things, you know, we're testing, we're exploring, we're trying to make it better. So let's go. Yep. All right. Cool, cool, cool. So let's keep going down this and I hope you have this open up on your screen so you can be like thinking about how you would answer some of these things and. And also if you have any questions. Awesome. You got it, Amir. You got it. So three things I learned about others. These are really good to kind of course corrections because as you collaborate with more people, you want to know, like, what is it that you're learning about those individuals? What are the things that you can anticipate the next time you work with them that they might need or for a family member? They are consistently telling you and giving you feedback about one thing. Now you know what they value, you know what's important to them so that you can be a little bit more aware next time you go in and approach that thing so you can be there for them. The same thing with, you know, a gratitude list in the past month, like, what are all the events and the things that you're super grateful for that are going to really help you in the long run, or that you're just really appreciative? Show that gratitude that bring that love into that heart. Another thing about the main thing that I could have done better, right? It's like taking what you did and thinking about what you could do better. And that sort of positive thinking and mindset is to help you advance your thinking and kind of keep you moving forward. Something I really connected me over the past month or someone I really connected with. And I think this one, you know, like, for me it's. It's the like the energy of like the connection I make with my wife. And for me the connections because we've gone through a transition with where we're living and thinking about like, well, how do we, how do we navigate this together? How do we. We're on the same team. Let's do this together. Let's, let's. Let's just crush this month and get ready and really support our kiddo to just, like, win the month, too. Like, we all want to. We want to have a great month. So I think, like, for me, I really connected with my wife on, like, what we're going to do and aligned on how we're going to support each other through this time. Just giving you examples and also just reflecting with you. The biggest decision I made this past month that I need to stick to was, well, there are lots of exciting things that I love to do. Like, I love to create content. I love to lead product and design. I love to make things better. But I also have passions and I have personal projects that I love to do that fuel me so much inside. And I want to maintain that energy. I want to maintain that, like, that authenticity of who I am and that uniquely thing that's. That's about me because that gives me fuel, that gives me energy, and it also, I think, makes the way I show up for Growth Day even better. So that's something that I think, like, for me, I need to stick to these passion projects and make sure that I'm doing them, make sure that I'm finishing them, make sure I'm delivering them and with excellence and just executing the heck out of them. And I love that because I love that because it's just, this is my life and you're showing up every day. And especially if you're gonna use Growth Day for anything, anything that you want to try to progress, like using it to accelerate your dreams and your ambitions and your passions. And you can start by doing it with asking these questions inside of the journal and by getting comfortable asking yourself hard questions and then even sharing these questions. You could share your journal entries, too, with your spouse or your loved one just to even get feedback, like, this is how I'm reflecting. Or you can ask them to maybe, what would they do? How would they answer this question? Really, really awesome stuff. Now, I know that all this said. I said all this stuff really, really fast. But it's really important, too, in Amir, since you're new, like, to know that this journal is 100% private. Like, we have no visibility into what you do. It's super private. And it's only until you share. Like, I'm sharing my screen right now so you can see things that I like you, you can read a couple of my prompts. But really, this is all about you. And we want to protect that and we want you to feel that safe, that safe environment. To really reflect and share what's matter, what matters most to you, right? And it's all in there. Now a couple little pro tips that I'm going to show you around the journal, which I think you're going to really love, is that how many of you have wanted to like, just attach an image to your journal, but you're on your desktop and you maybe don't have an image or you're trying to take a screenshot. What you can do is do Command Shift four if you're on a Mac. And I could like highlight this last question, like just to say you wanted to highlight something on your screen or another browser. You can take that screenshot and then you would drag it in. So I took a screenshot on my computer, I went down to the very bottom, I grabbed it and now I just dragged it into this little area right at where there's a little icon. And now if I. Even if I just submit this and I don't have an image, it's submitting. Great job. I get my little notification. I'm going to get a growth coin for doing this. And now I can see that image that I just took a screenshot of and it's right there. So it's one thing that I can get excited about. It's an epic day of meetings, interviews and talk. So today. So now you know that you can add an image. You could also just click this and just browse your desktop just like you would do any other image or social media app. You can just grab the image. We do have file sizes. You can upload up to 10 images, but you can upload videos. Sorry about that. Maybe that's something we'll change down the road. But right now you can always only do images. I tend to do this if I have like list of things. Like if I'm using the mobile app and I have a plan open, I would just do a screenshot, like, you know, a quick little screenshot in the, in the phone app, like, boop. And then I would save that to my camera roll. I would go to the journal and I would just go back in and edit. If I already wrote the text for that journal, I would go back in and tap it and then just upload the image from my phone just so I could have it there. And it's, it's, you know, stored in time. You can also go back in to an older like prompt and just click edit. And then you could come in at the very bottom and then upload your image to the. To the other bottom. So, like, if I was to, like, just take another screenshot, Oops, I did a screenshot and then I could just drag it in and I can save it. And then I'm in business. So there's little, like, little key tips there. Now I also was showing you on the right side. So if I, like, I had some plans that I made in December, so I created a September plan. I had a finding strength plan where I was taking notes about a course and I just wanted it to be inside. I have a quick link to that plan. I also have an example of, like, somebody I'm mentoring and, like, how I was setting up my plan to be able to support them better when I have one on ones. And then I also have my score for my daily habit assessment. So I've already started, like, building my kind of curriculum of things that I've done. And I'm starting to see my trends, my habits, the things that I'm doing. And this is how you can just basically have a really good grasp of what you're doing. You can also go in and sort by your old types of prompts. So if you were doing morning mindset every day, you can go in and just read your morning mindsets for the last couple months. Pretty cool stuff. Pretty, pretty cool stuff. All right, so that gives that essentially like 0 to 1, like, big example of everything that you have for the journal. You can always minimize your journal, like in the sidebar, and then it would just come over, and then you can hover over it and see your stats. And then you can even get more tool tips about what it is that you've been writing. And you can even, like, after you do this, you could go in and just go score your habits because there's like, little quick links that get you back and forth between these two areas. And then I could go in and do my. Do my daily habits. And the last thing that I'll probably show you today is that even if you go into, like, say, your challenges and you know that a challenge has. And I'll go into one of my completed challenges that I did for the hi Fi channel or not the hi Fi, but for the identity shift challenge, I'm gonna click into it. So I did 16 out of 18 of the task. And what I can do here is I can even go back in and re watch this. Sorry for loading a little slow here. Let me just minus this down. I could go back in and watch the video with Anthony again. And I could go back in and rejournal from that task and I could go back in and reshare and you can retake this as many times as you want. You can also share it on social. It's just pretty cool. So I'm going to come out of sharing right now and just kind of open the flow. I know that we had a couple people had to bounce and head out, but I'd love. Oh, yeah, great. You know, Kelly, I know it's every time you come into the app, you learn something new when you show up for a growth group with me. So I love that. My pleasure. Thank you, Trey, for your questions and prompts and your examples. And Kali, this was a really fun session for me because I love the journal. I love it and it's been really impactful and helpful. A couple other things that I think, like, just to consider when you are journaling and if anybody wants to come up and hang out with me in a video and if you have something to say or something you wanted to share about journal, I could bring you up on stage. If not, it's all Good. We have 14 minutes left and I have plenty of stuff I can share with you as well. So feel free to raise your hand if you do want to do that. So when earlier I was talking about, like, well, how do you journal? I talked to you today about how do you journal? I also talked about, like, when you can journal, like before meetings, after meetings, before events, when you're transitioning moments when you're, you know, getting ready to plan for the week, getting that mind right, getting that attention ready, and then you can go in and take action on that. The third thing was like, well, why do we journal? Right? We journal because it helps us release tension. It helps us stay focused on what matters most. It can even help us drive a little bit more of our priorities in our life so that we can make sure that we're focused on the right things. Right? We can focus on the right things. We're going to be better off. And the last thing that I was also giving you some pro tips, like the keyboard shortcuts for navigating the app, but also learning that you can journal inside the challenges. Some of the challenges have journal entries. You can also, while you're watching in our new course player experience. So if you haven't yet seen any courses, if you are a pro member, if you are, if you're a pro member, then you get access to all the last or you get access to the live events. And our live events are our Wednesday workshops, our Wednesday wisdoms, and I think we're going to be calling them Wednesday workshops here pretty soon because they're literally workshops. You get 10 or so different little frameworks, or you get one framework, but like 10 or 12 different topics that the coaches talk about. And these are really impactful because they're just hitting you really hard for a full hour on some very, very impactful, like life lessons, but also coaching lessons that they have from coaching in the industry and doing it really well and having an incredible amount of success in their coaching programs. And that's when they get to come on the platform and show their stuff and all those notes. If you're a pro member, you get access to that. Now if you're an all access member or if you've bought courses and you can do this in settings or you can upgrade in the plans page. If you have courses, then you can be watching courses while you journal, you can be watching courses while you life score, you can be watching courses while you plan. Because we have this thing called a continuous miniplayer. And you know what, there's time I can show that to you right now if you want to see what that looks like. And just let me know in the chat if you do want to see that. No problem. Otherwise you can just try and explore it yourself. But it's really cool because we have a new video player that just was released yesterday. I agree. Trey is a huge feature update and I'm just going to show you because it's really fun. Oh, lovely. Yeah. I did post in the community an example video of this. So if you just want to scroll and you can check it out. So it's just sharing the screen. So I'm going to go into the habit builder course and I just want you to know like the entire product is responsive now because I'm doing a growth group. I have one full screen where I can see you and be in the chat and be present with you and. But I also have a split screen where I'm looking at this other side. So that's why it's a little bit more narrow. So I just wanted to. But I really want to see you all too in this, in this chat as well. So if I start watching this course, I now have the ability to rewind fast forward really seamlessly. I have speed control. I have speed control. And if you're taking notes like you can create these little quick hyperlinks that will go back to those parts of the video that you're getting the most experience from. So like, if I was to go in and start typing and I hit Enter, it's going to capture that timestamp of when you hit Enter, not when you first start typing in there. So if you feel like you want to start it before, you can just write your text, rewind it 15 seconds and then hit Enter and return so that you can get exactly where you want. We don't have the functionality right now where you can, like change that timestamp where it starts, but you could just rewind it 15 seconds and then just hit return and it will get you what you want. I hope that's really helpful. So I told you about continuous watching, right? So Brennan's playing right here. Let me say I want to go to the homepage. Okay. So I'm gonna go to the homepage and just click the homepage link. And my computer is running quite slow at the moment, but that's okay. It should just keep playing. Let me just see if it comes comes back. There we go. I know I'm running quite a bit here and let me just come back. I might have already paused it, so it might have not come here. Let me go back. Yeah. So here we go. I'm playing the video and I come in to home. Oh, wow. I'm using all my bandwidth. Okay, there you go. So you can see it in the very bottom left hand corner. And in this, you can actually drag it, move it around and you can link back to that course. It's really awesome. Especially if you're taking notes or planning or like if you're getting a course on action planning or learning how to work on your energy, you can come into a plan and create an energy plan and then start writing out the things that you're learning from Brendan on energy. And then you can have those and set due dates for those plan items while you're watching this course. And you can still move it around however you want. And then after you finish that, you can go over to your journal and keep going and finish this. So it's going to allow you to continuously watch this course a lot faster and it's going to continuously play. So after you finish the video, you don't have to go back to the course page to watch the next video. It's just going to continuously move on to the next video, which is amazing. And then it also has a mini player for audio courses. So if you're watching audio courses, same exact concept, you're gonna have a little bit of a different UI for that, but it's just Gonna be really great for you as you're learning. You know, learning. Learning tools are so critical when you're trying to develop yourself. So we're trying to make it really easy for you to get the most out of that with notes, with comments, with live chat. When you're in inside of a growth group, like, we're here today, and, you know, you're. You're part of the early crew, so you're getting access to this really early. And then, you know, more people are gonna come in. Y' all are gonna be. You're gonna know how to get the most out of this. You'll probably be teaching Growth Day for me. I probably won't have to be doing this because you're all such pros. So you can come in even to a audio lesson. And the audio lesson is gonna. Once I play that audio lesson, this is gonna go away in the very bottom right. And you can see the new video. Audio or the new audio player. Not the video player. It's the new audio player. And you have it at your fingertips now. You can still do the same thing. So if I go over to Journal, it'll automatically do this. You don't have to click anything. If you play it and then you leave this page, it's gonna continuously, just continuously watch. You don't have to hit any special buttons. It's just gonna work. So I hope you enjoyed that. I'm gonna stop sharing my screen one more time, and then I'll bring it back. We have six minutes left, and what I would love to do in this last six minutes is just kind of like, it's Friday. Maybe we could do two things. Amir, if you wanna. You don't even have to turn on your video, but if you wanna come up and maybe you could share even why Growth Day? Or you can put in the chat if, like, why are you trying Growth Day? What are you. What are you trying to get out of it? And, like, I think since you're. Since you're new to the product, like, I'd love to spend a couple minutes setting you up for success. Like, what are you gonna try? What do you need a little support on? Is there any courses or anything that you're looking for? We can kind of curate it for you and. Oh, awesome. Kelly, I'm glad you liked it, but want to make sure that you feel supported here today. Again, I could pretty much answer any questions that you have, and we can just have a really solid end to this growth group. Any thoughts, questions, needs? I'm going to Take a drink of some water. All right. All good. No pressure too. So what's next? What's next for journaling? What's next for. Oh, how do I make this not feel like work? Ah, well, I think the first thing is just like if you were to go into. Well, I think from when I, when I coach people on, like finding their passion or their purpose and when they like, it's feel like, oh, this is gonna be a lot of work, I'm gonna have to like, learn a ton. One thing I would say is like, learning is an evolution, right? So don't feel like you have to do everything at once. I would focus on your biggest, biggest needle moving thing. So what you could do is go to your growth profile, your profile on the, in the app, or go to your plan and just start with your top, like five or 10 things that you want to achieve over the next year, over the next three years or next five years. Like dream big. Like, if you had an endless amount of opportunities and an endless amount of potential, which you do, what would you ask for? If you had all the skills in the world, what would you be doing right now? I hope, I hope it's close to something that you're passionate about. I hope it's something that you find purpose in. I hope it's something that you feel like it's a meaningful pursuit, like something that you care about, you want to contribute to. I would start there because that passion is what's going to motivate you, it's going to give you energy. But if you're working on things that aren't very exciting for you, then you are going to probably have to pull from other sources of energy. So think about first, like what is most important to you? Write out your goals around that. That's why we have a big Y in the growth profile. So if you click your avatar in the very top right and go to your growth profile, you'll see a big why section. Write what your big why is and then also pick some focus areas and then also maybe write one goal that you want to achieve maybe by the end of September, maybe if you don't, if you can't, like think one, three and five years out or bigger, think about what you can do in the next month. Think about what you could do maybe in this end of this quarter. Think about what you could do to set yourself up before you transition into the new year. And it's not work because it's all about you. Then after you start building that foundation of what you Want what you desire, what you need, then we can start building in. And then I would start from there is I would go and watch the high performance habit builder course and just take your time. Watch those six categories that talk about the high performance habits. You'll learn about necessity, you'll learn about energy, you'll learn about productivity, you'll learn about just building clarity. And you will start to understand like what we've learned from our research about what high performance habits really even are and what they look like. And here I'll show you a little card real quick about these. Yeah. So here we go. So energy, necessity, productivity, influence and courage. The courage and influence is the ones I didn't announce. But focusing on these things, you'll learn that in the high performance habit builder course like whenever we even start anybody, that's why it's free and starter plan because you know, for the 37.99 or whatever the the cost is for the plan for starter, we want to get you in the game. And that course is a great way to get a foundation awareness of like how you can get after you get after it. So start there and then, you know, start plucking away at like, okay, well now that I know what I want, I know what I desire, I know what I need, now how can I start building action plans to be able to help me get into achieve what I want? And when you start feeling that achievement settle in and you start seeing the achievements that you have week over week over month over month over year over year, you'll start realizing that journaling more reflect. So reflection, redirection, just doing more journaling and starting more planning and starting to dial in like how you feel and your emotional state, these things are going to help you be more productive. And if you're more productive, then you can achieve more of your outcomes and, and whether they're good or bad in the like the outcomes that you're working towards, you're gonna be able to learn how you're doing in those things and you'll be able to get better like Even I said 1% better over the long like over a week over week over week. That's gonna add up. And when that adds up, you're gonna start seeing those results. So I would start there and then if you need even more support, right. Listen to the daily fire. If a starter, if your starter plan, if you're a pro plan, then I would go in and I would watch all the replays from the co coaches and if you're even like fired up even more. Then I would upgrade to all access. So you can just, like, watch everything and learn everything in the platform, because that's gonna. And you could do it over the whole year, and you'll get so much value from that. So that's what I would recommend doing. And then asking questions in the community, getting support. And then we'll be here every Friday supporting you, too. And there's all sorts of growth groups in there that people. So, y', all, this. 10 seconds left. I. I appreciate you being here. I think you're all awesome and. Yeah, stay in touch. We'll see you in the next one. All right, later.
