Drew Canole walks through four practices for self-discovery: raising your consciousness, using your thoughts to create, releasing emotional attachment to past and future, and mastering your body through nutrition and breathwork. He frames life as Planet Earth School and offers journaling and affirmation exercises to shift your vibration.
Yo, guys. Welcome to the Drew and you show. Today I'm going to give you four things that you can use in your life to discover who you really are and start living bigger than you could ever imagine.
This is super, super powerful. And these four things that I've done in my life have transformed my way of living. Maybe you've listened to a couple of the other podcasts. You can relate to where I was as a kid, you know, being abused and tortured as a child, but not. Not being angry about my past or my memories, not even being attached to my memories at all anymore. Letting go of the beliefs that I had all to do one thing. And that is what I believe. I believe we are on Planet Earth School, and we are here to learn. And as we fly around the sun going 80,000 miles an hour and we get these lessons every year, we have what is called the birthday, but I don't call it that. I call it an ageless day, because we're eternal beings having a human experience. So when we're traveling around the Earth, you have these different lessons that come to us, these different events, these different episodes, these different shows and the reality that we call our life. And I think they're designed specifically to do one thing that is to raise our consciousness. If you've read the book Power vs Force, you know that there's different levels of consciousness. Who? He explains it so well. David Hawkins, who actually he was. His ashes are buried, like, within half a mile from my house in Sedona, which is pretty rad, right? Letting go. He wrote Power versus Force and a whole cadre of other books that will enlighten you, my friend, having more light in your body. So I think we are here to allow that divine spark that is in us, that soul to shine through day in and day out. And the more lessons we go through, the more teachings that we acquire, the more we raise our consciousness, the better it is. So that would be number one. And throughout my life, there's been many pivotal moments that I've had to choose to continue to evolve. I think there's a lot of people that maybe they graduate from a certain town or a city and they stay there their whole entire life. And they get in this repetitive cycle. This repetitive cycle kind of can hold them back from really living the life of their dreams. And they look like they've fallen off the wagon of ambition as time goes on. So I think the more we raise our own consciousness, the more people we help. I think that's the part of life that I love. The most is just giving back and helping people. If I can help one person a day and get outside of myself, loving my neighbor as myself, right. I think that's powerful. So increasing consciousness, this is what we can do to master our own life. The second thing that changed my life, I would say, is understanding. Not just understanding, but really being a witness to my own thoughts. Realizing that thoughts are a vibration, and the vibration creates the reality. And we are frequency beings. So the frequency comes. The thoughts create the vibration, the vibration creates the reality. And when we create with our thoughts, it essentially, like I mentioned before the book Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles, we're turning the formless into form, and we're creating with our thoughts. So how many thoughts do we have per day? 60 to 80,000 men have a little bit less thoughts going on. 60 to 80,000 thoughts. 97% of those thoughts we have day in and day out, over and over and over again. So we have another 3% that we can use to change our conscious mind that can then shift our unconscious mind. How wisely are we using the 3%? And how do we get the most out of those thoughts? One thing I love to do is think about a mantra or think about an affirmation or an afformation before I go to bed at night. Because the last thought you have while drifting off is what you will process in dream time, and you'll wake up with that first thought on your mind again. So it's super crucial. What is that last thought? You know, a lot of guys that are. They're addicted to porn, and before bed, they. They do the thing and there's no judgment at all. There's no good or bad in this. It's just all lessons in evolution and consciousness. But what kind of thinking goes into that before you drift off into the unconscious realm of dreaming awake, you know, waking up in your dream, getting information, hidden messages, that kind of stuff. So we need to utilize that time more effectively and begin to start to see our thoughts, become a witness to it. You're probably well on your way, or you've been doing this for years. If you're listening to this, I think collectively our thinking, the mind, the collective mind of planet Earth, creates form as well, which is why we see now some of the discord and some of the narratives that are actually playing out is because we've been thinking this for a very long time. We watch shows where people are masked up, right, Like Handmaid's Tale. We see these movies where there's these viruses and these Contagions and these outbreaks and these worldwide pandemics over and over and over again. So we're using our collective mind to view it. And when we view it, that's just one thing. If we could view it like a monk and not a human, attach any meaning to it and not attach any feeling to it, even more importantly, then the truth is the substance probably wouldn't be created around that specif, that specific type of an event. So we can observe but not be attached. And I think that's the lesson. We can observe and not have a desire for it, because the desire creates the feeling, and the feeling creates the resonance in the field, and the field creates the resonance reality. So number two would be learning how to be a creator with your thoughts. Number three would be to eliminate any emotional ties. So emotional ties could be past or future. Right. The emotional tie of the trauma that I experienced as a kid can leave me strong, held or chained up to the past. Memories of the past projected into my present eternal now moment, creating more and more of the same feeling, which the feeling again creates the discord and all the disharmony and everything else that comes with it. So eliminating emotional ties, being here, being fully present, super powerful, not going to the future. Right. How many times do we go to the future? So if we can bring ourselves back to the present moment when we're wandering in the future. And even a simple journal exercise, I did this for 30 days, is I would write down 50 to 100 times a day when I would drift off in the future, and then I would pull myself back to the present moment and write about where I was at in the future. It's amazing. And you do this 30 days in a row. You realize most of where you are in the future is just a repetitive program projected out of, you know, even 50, 50, worst case scenario, 50% best case scenario. And if you're a ninja, then that can teeter up more towards positivity. But the more positivity you collect the, the old Celtic infinity sign symbol that goes back and forth towards the equilibrium. Like the teeter totter, where you actually want to be is a neutral. Neutral is right in the middle. So if it's positive and it's in the future, it doesn't matter if it's good, it doesn't matter if it's bad, it's in the past or good in the past, you're still in the teeter totter. So to be of no mind, to have not to have no emotional ties, to be in neutral is Where God is to be in neutral is where the light is. You can really start to allow yourself to be in the eternal now moment and experience more peace versus being on this perpetual pendulum, this tick, tock, teeter, totter of going back and forth. How many positive thoughts can I have right now? How many affirmations can I say right now? What if you had no mind and you allowed your consciousness to make your decisions with absolute knowing coming from your heart? That's a powerful place to be. And listen, I'm not there, you know, very rarely there at this point. I'm not a guru, like I say, I'm just a guide on the side helping you in your life. And I'm learning all this stuff too with you. So now that we've got that out of the way, I would say number four would be starting to master your physical vehicle. This could be number one. And it was number one for me. 11 years ago, I started drinking 32 ounces of green juice every single day, fueling my body with micronutrients, fueling it right so that I felt better. When I started to feel better, I had more energy. And when I had more energy, I could do the things that I love to do. My vibration increased. Your vibration creates more energy in your subtle energy body or in your field. So the more living raw food that I was eating at the time, drinking copious amounts of green juice versus the processed food, the sugar, the dairy, the wheat, the things that I had small intolerances to, I began to notice my subtle energy bodies more. So the five senses. Yes. Sight, touch, taste, smell, hear, those are great. But we also have subtle energy bodies that we have access to. And we can start to see more through our first eye, right through the pineal gland. We get access to more information. We have this knowing that just comes to us. Decisions that need to be made that would sometimes take a week or two before all of a sudden we know in milliseconds. And it's because you're taking better care of your physical body. You're putting good fuel in it. Energy rich, high vibrational foods. You're exercising, you're moving your body, moving your body, right? Emotion, energy in motion. When we move our body, it's amazing. If you're stuck in a discordant energy pattern or in a loop and you know it and you're having trouble getting out of it, just get up, move, get off the couch, walk for 10 minutes. You'll be surprised at how quickly your energy starts to shift. But again, there's so Many things that can trap you into staying in that loop. Especially technology, right? I've seen people binge watch like three shows, four shows, five shows in a row just sitting there. There's nothing wrong with it. I've done it before. And. But what you'll find is if you have a discordant energy pattern, or there's emotion, or there's sadness, or there's healing that gets to occur and you're not allowing it, you're not allowing yourself to heal. Just get up, move, go to the gym, exercise, do some yoga, do some tai chi, qigong, do some breath work. You want to move some emotion, do some breath work. Super powerful practice and just let it. Let it go, Let it move through you. But don't sit in the muck, don't stay in the pool, right? You can go in the pool, but don't get wet, like my Don always says. So we can experience it, we can observe it, but don't attach any meaning to it. Just let it be super, super powerful stuff. So those would be the four things you guys today. Increasing your own consciousness while we're here in Planet Earth school. Becoming the creator of your own thinking. And there's always another level of this too. So maybe it's realizing first and foremost that you have thoughts. I'd like to say that was. Or I think Mark Twain said this. I didn't say it. The first day I was born was when my mom gave birth to me. The second day is when I realized that I had thoughts in my mind that I could hear. Can be a witness to those.
Third, you need to eliminate emotional ties. Emotions stop us from seeing clearly, oftentimes, especially as a projector. Right. Of a emotional center.
And then lastly, looking after your physical vehicle. Super, super important. So all these things can help you discover who you really are, why you're really here. So if it's journaling on these, if it's really sitting with it, you really start to. When you do these four things, you really start to realize how interconnected we all are. How this duality, this illusionary we're separate from each other really is. We are source. We are all connected to that original light, that original primordial sound. And our way of replicating is literally becoming reflections of each other, reflections of that light and that lights within us. So the more we reflect each other, the more brilliance, the more you shine your divinity, that spark that's within you. The more you come alive, the more other people will come alive around you and bear witness to your magnificence and then shine their own gifts and their own light frequency out into the world. So the more we wake up together, the more the world wakes up, the more we stop letting all of these unconscious programs run the show, the more we wake up from the mind virus.
Super powerful. So I just wanted to share that today. Hopefully got a little bit out of this on the Drew and you show. Check out itunes. Leave a review over there. I give out Organifi, 30 day supply of Organifi once a week for a review. I'm going to pick somebody and yeah, so head on that way. And much love to you, my friend. Make it a great day. Remember, we're in this together. Talk to you soon.
