Drew Canole explores how to unlock creativity by connecting with your higher self and avoiding digital distractions. He argues ideas already exist and you're just accessing them, and that self-worth and internal reflection are essential to the creative process.
Chapters
Hey, guys. Welcome back to the Drew and you podcast. I'm excited to talk about today's episode. We're talking about creativity. I get a lot of questions in regards to how to unlock, how to be more creative, how to write a book, how to create that song. Maybe that's been in your heart since the beginning of time. All these things will help. If you're an artist, which I identify as, and you may want to consider that too. Regardless of what you do, what your way of doing is in this world, you're a being, right? And a being has this multidimensional personality that has access to whatever you want to create now, in fact, realizing number one, that it's already been created is a super powerful hack. So realize whatever your dream, whatever your goal, whatever you're inspired to create has already been created in the formless substance, and it's making its way to you now. So that's the big thing with writing books, with creating art, music of any kind, is realizing it's already done right. And if you don't do it, there's a good chance, I believe that three seeds get dropped off from the ethers. The ether etheric plane which comes through the crown. It enters our field, our magnetic field, and then it's placed in our heart. And what we do with our heart, actually that action that we take from the heart creates it. It. It makes it the magnetic field, pulls it to a way of creation. So realizing that it's already done, number one, connecting to number two would be connecting to something that's outside of what you would call your limited personality or your ego. I think when I identify as being the creator of Organifi, and I'm the founder and I've created this business, I'm only setting myself up for success, or I'm only setting myself up freuding slip. That's hilarious. Total ego just interjected right there from the back seat. Hey, ego, get in the back seat. I probably sound like a crazy person on this podcast and it's okay because I am freaking crazy. When you identify as being the owner of anything, it's actually a limitation, I believe. So there's a business partner that I have that's far beyond me and my ability. The ego's ability to think. And we could call it our higher self, we could call it universe, call it God, and it's within us, right? Right. Heaven is within us. So when we connect to that place as co creating versus creating something, I think it works much better for me. It's much more powerful in fact, you know, after writing several books, creating several businesses, having a multitude of success in the material realm, it happens outside of this. It's the spiritual, supernatural realm where the insight comes from. The formless is created into form. So create a habit out of connecting with that aspect of you, that aspect outside of this time and space, and you'll start to get even more ideas than you could ever even imagine. Number three would be put away your digital devices. I believe when I wake up in the morning and all of a sudden I'm checking my phone for texts and Instagram and social validation and the need to be liked and the need for followers, it robs me of any creative faculty that I had in the Theta state, which is the first 30 minutes of the day. So we want to make sure we're putting away our digital devices and we're allowing that channel to be an open vessel. There's a reason the cell phone looks like a black mirror. It's literally sucking creativity out of us. I believe you don't have to adopt any of this. I want you to interpret it as you would. Right. So if Deborah is in Nebraska, you got a Deborah eyes this information. Johnny is in California. We got to Johnny eyes it. This is just coming from my own personal experience. So take it for what it is. And also science is proving that a lot of this social validation, this need to be like, this need for significance with these social media platforms takes away our desire and our need to form real world connection. It's pretty scary. We could go down the rabbit hole for days about this topic and actually I have. So put away your digital devices. If you're really working on being the artist of your life, the architect of your dreams, the creator of what you want to experience in this place. Number four would be observe what is already working through the art or the medium that you're creating. I don't believe in competition. I believe in cooperation. I believe in coming together, you know, the emergence of information. And it's all around us. Why do we have to reinvent the wheel? The inventions have already been made thousands of years ago, sometimes 20, 30, 40,000 years ago. There's greater technology, I believe, on the planet then than there is now, right? Ancient Egypt, Lemurian, Atlanteans, they had better tech than we have. We've just been suppressed as a civilization, as a society. So reconnecting with our ancient selves, not disconnected from us, but re remembering that's already inside our cellular makeup and the structure of what we would call the morphogenetic field of the DNA. So observe what is already working. I would say the next one would be let me think about this. By the way, in these podcasts I just flow you guys, so you probably know that. But just so you know, I'm grabbing information. I'm really working on listening to you as I'm recording this from the future and then bringing the information back. So number five would be change.
Change what you've been doing to be creative. Switch it up, go into the unknown like Dispenza is talking about now. I believe doing something new every single day is a great, great thing to break up your creativity. Brush your teeth left handed, right. Jump into a cold plunge first thing in the morning if you're not used to it. Or take a cold shower. Walk your dogs a different way in the neighborhood today. Take a bike ride first thing in the morning. If you've obsessed with the gym for the past five or six years, call somebody first thing in the morning and tell you how much, you tell them how much you love them versus getting on your cell phone. Change your routine up and then watch what starts to open up to you. Change the books that you've been reading, right? I've been a personal development self help junkie for the past 15 to 20 years now. I love reading fiction books, getting into that like opening my mind up before bed and then going into portals of sci fi and different things of that nature while listening to sci fi music, creating the emotion that actually makes the energetic body stronger. To go into some of these other dimensions.
I would say you gotta think about being in the present moment when it's creative. You can't be in the past, you can't be in the future. So being in the present moment, in the eternal now space, that's where all information exists. And you've heard me talk about this on recent podcasts. But the zero point field, I believe is connected to the fifth chamber of the heart, the invisible realm. And we enter the zero point field and that's like all information, right? So having access to all the information throughout all time and then grabbing pieces of it to be creative can only happen in the eternal now. That's why the present is a present. It's a gift. You are the gift. Remember that. So another thing we get to work on is our own self worth. If you have a really shitty self worth and you don't believe that you are the creator of your own life, if you're giving away your life like a victim and you're not taking responsibility, then how Are these seeds, the three seeds of the initial divine idea that is sent forth from the field into material isn't going to be dropped off on your lap, right? It's like the stork delivering a baby. Every idea is pregnant with an idea, a richness that can be created in the form, but it takes us opening to it, it takes us being worthy enough to receive it. So working on your own self worth, and that's a big issue for a lot of people because most people right now, I believe, are in the program. And there's no judgment with this. I just. They are where they are, right? And I have relatives and people that I love dearly that are just stuck in this, but they believe that they are victims to this life and they get their significance from the external world. And when you're getting your significance from the external world, you're creating things from the external viewpoint versus the internal. And all of the greatest ideas that have ever existed throughout all time came from that internal space. It came from the silence, it came from the stillness. And then reforming it somehow, some way to create it into form. So I think that's a super powerful thing to end on. Just really working, working on those seven or eight things that I just went over with you and recognizing that you are beyond powerful. You are a creator now, you are an artist now. All the information that ever existed is right around you. And if you don't, take action, and I feel like I need to do this in this podcast, but take action on this idea that you've had. You've had an idea, you haven't followed through with it, you've had it maybe sometimes two, three years, four years, and you see a gap in the marketplace that hasn't been created, you haven't created it. You need to follow through with this vision, with this dream, with this invention, this thing that you want to create. Maybe it's art, whatever it is, maybe it's a book, maybe it's a children's book. Follow through with it because the idea gets to be born. You're going to help so many people with this. And another thing you can do as a bonus is already imagine your idea and the dream of what you've created impacting other people so much that they're sending you emails, they're reaching out to you. Oh, my God. Your idea completely transformed my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Write it down, Write it down as if you're receiving emails now for this idea, get that emotional energy going in your body, because as a creator, we can use the emotional body like, and we can use the mind. Those are just tools. The emotional body and the mind is a tool. And you can use it, but it will drive you forward to build momentum up. It'll create a hole in the universe. And a hole can only be filled with divine love in the universe. So more and more love will animate you from that place of stillness and wholeness now in this moment. And it's coming in. It's already been created, it's already done. You're already whole, you're already complete. And I'm here just to witness it with you. So let's co create together. Let this be the podcast that you've listened to that's propelled you into action as a creator now. And yeah, I'm looking forward to circling back a year after this podcast. Spend five, ten minutes after you listen to this and think about what it feels like to already create it. And I'm reaching out to you because I'm blown away that you had this idea, this epiphany, and you followed through with it because you heard my voice on the podcast and we're co creating this thing together. And I'm just witnessing you and all your glory already in this moment a year from now. What does that feel like? So go there in your imagination. Imagine I am a genie. Take it there right after this, write it down, tuck it away, put it in your purse, put it in your wallet. In a year from now, let's have this conversation again. I'm Drew Canole.
