On today's podcast, Drew and you. You guys, thank you so much for joining us. We are talking about my books and my mentors that have radically shifted my Life in Organifi, FitLife, TV, everything that I've been up to in the world over the past 11 years and beyond. To be honest, I started reading at a really young age in college. I became a voracious reader. I was reading a book a day. I read Tony Robbins stuff, I read Reed Tracy stuff. I read all of the greats, the people at the beginning thought transcendence model too, like Ralph Waldo Emerson. I read the works of Neville Goddard. I read the works of Stuart Wilde. Right. I read whatever book Louise Hay said to read back in the day. I did. I became a big fan of Wayne Dyer, little fanboy for a while, and then he became a mentor of mine in my life. So I have literally read other business books too, like Gina Wickman stuff, all of it. Scaling Up Traction, Rocket Fuel. And there's been a few book that have radically transformed my life that I wanted to talk to you about today. And you should highly rec. I highly recommend you invest in those books as well. So are we recording this via video or we just go on audio? Okay, cool. So first and foremost, I am of the school that you gotta work on the inner you first before the outer you starts to shift. And to do that, I think, like I said, I've read the incomplete works of Stuart Wilde, Carlos Caneda, which is all inner work, right. Neville Goddard, Joel Goldstein, which is another author. So I would say that those books in particular, there's a book called Power vs. Force. Richard Dawkins has a great set of books as well, talking about energy, talking about frequency. So all of these authors have left us with such. With such treasures in this reality. They have literally poured their hearts and souls into these books that they've created. And I would say another collection item would be Wallace Wattles. He wrote the book the Science of Getting Rich, the Science of well Being. I believe all of his books, like, it's just. This is literally. These people are literally channels for source. And when you read the books, you're not just reading them, you're embedding them in your body. I don't read to read. I read to learn. I read to teach. So when I'm reading it, my retention level is a lot higher because I'm already ma. I'm automatically thinking, how can I make a difference in somebody else's life when I read this book? So I'm reading with that and how I read these books. And I'm going to get into the specific books after this. But how I read them is, number one, I scan through it real quick. I look for things, I highlight the headlines or the things that pop. Number two, those things that are popping, that are revolutionary, that could radically transform my life. I'm writing them at the beginning of the book in a pen. So many of my books have page, you know, 14. This is the message that I learned and continuing so on and so forth throughout the book. Because for me, when I write it, I remember it, when I read it, sometimes it just goes out the window. So getting in the habit of taking notes while you read these books, I think it's super, super powerful. There's a reason in school that the classes that we were taking that we didn't like that were monotonous for memorization tactics to turn off our right brain. And that's a whole other podcast. But when we would do this, we would memorize things because we're writing it down. So if there's important things to you now in your journey, remember to write it down. So I highlight it first and then I write it down at the beginning of the book. Because I can always flashback and go through it. And then depending on how much gold I'm getting, I'll only read four or five pages in a row. And if there's nothing there, if there's nothing that pops, if there's nothing that I'm writing at the beginning of the book, then I'll skip to the next five pages. Then I'll skip to the next five pages if there's nothing. And then if there's nothing after that, it's like I'll start skipping 20, 25 pages at a time, and then I'll just move on to the next book. But that's the secret to going through books fast. Because there's going to be many books, you guys, that are great to re remember what you already know, but they don't really land in the moment for something that you need. And I believe my spirit, my higher self, source energy permeates through me. I'm being breathed through, and I'm also being read through. I think that'd be grammatically appropriate. So whatever I'm called to read that day, I'm literally setting the intention for it. So I'm setting the intention to get the information that I need for the dream to wake up from the dream of this life, this 3D experience that we would call reality, and transitioning into the awakened Dream. So what type of information can I read in the awakened dream that now turns it into something that's sacred that's going to shift my life and then your lucid living. So we're going to talk about dreams in the future and how we can start to live a lucid life full of vitality, full of love. And I think that's super important as well. So one of the books that I'm feeling called to share with you now because these are all impromptu by the way. Guys, I don't have any notes, I don't have any bullets. I'm just speaking from my heart. One of the books that radically shifted my life so long ago was a real short book. And the reason I like short books is because when you can actually read it, I think 90% of the books that are on our shelves, we don't even touch. I see you shaking your head in agreeance. There's a lot of books you haven't read. So one of them is Life Was Never Meant to Be a Struggle by Stuart Wilde. You could probably find the YouTube video too. I know it was recorded. Stuart has an amazing voice as well. And I could just listen to this guy all day. He's like the og he's like with Alan Watts back in the day. And if you like Alan Watts stuff then super, super powerful. So the next book that I would read, Life Was Never Meant to Be a Struggle. That'd be the first. The next book that I would read would be the Science of Getting Rich and that's by Wallace Wattles, hands down, Turning the formless into Form. He teaches you ways to look at this reality that's so abundant, that's so filled with magic. And we miss it a lot because we're looking at the wrong things. We're living in the 3D. So this book was one of the first books that really helped me transition my money mindset into more of a fifth dimensional thinking, moving from what we would say on the spiral dynamics orange into something that's like yellow or turquoise.
So leveling up your consciousness with that book is a super powerful thing. I recommend all my coaching students read this book, especially if they have wealth issues, if they have money scarcity, if they have setbacks that have really held them back from becoming the biggest version of who they are. And that's a book by Wallace Wattles. I think it's far more important than the book Think and Grow Rich for business. But Think and Grow Rich is absolutely a massive book too. So that leads me on to the Works of Napoleon Hill. I've read them all. My favorite book by Napoleon Hill is actually Outwitting the Devil. I think that's far more important during today's time than think and grow rich. So in fact, I believe Feel and Go Rich is more important, which is a book by Neville Goddard that I would recommend you guys read. Feel. Feeling is the Secret, I think it's called actually. So Feeling is the Secret. Yeah, Outwitting the Devil. It really talks about that shadow side of us and how we sabotage everything. Especially when we get to a certain level, a certain wealth, frequency. We like to go back to the way that we once were. It's human nature. It's the turtle, it's the shrimp that has to break out of its shell every time to grow. It's uncomfortable, it's painful. So as a human being, we have to do that as well. And it's such a beautiful thing right when we start to slow down, when we start to see our growth, feel our growth before it manifests into this time, space, reality. So I would say that's another book. Like I said, Feeling is the Secret. I would add that on. And then on top of it is a newer author that I've read literally all of his books and I've had the Organifi team read as well. I've been to one of his eight day meditation workshops. I think this book is so cool how it integrates ancient Kundalini practices. Some of Itzhak Bentov's work in the 1970s, when he talks about stalking, the wild pendulum and the physics of consciousness. There's an author, his name is, and you probably heard his name before because he's all over the podcast circuit now, is Joe Dispenza. I'm a big fanboy of Joe Dispenza and I'm proud to admit it because he does a really great job. Likened to Bruce Lipton, likened to Greg Braden, one of the two of the OGs that I've been following for decades. He does a way of explaining how we can be supernatural with our everyday experience, how to open up to a new possibility and the power of, of. I think it's actually just called supernatural. And I've given this book out to dozens of people and it just changes their life. You literally see people shift. You see them change when they understand some of the principles in Dispenza's work. And I think he's at the cutting edge and the forefront of more and more left brain people recognizing that there's far more to their reality than just the mundane 3D experience. And I've seen supernatural things in my life. I've worked with the Toltec shaman for the past 13 years. I've seen qigong masters light things on fire with their hands. This is not normal. This is like supernatural stuff. And I'll have these people on too. We're gonna bend some spoons in the future with my buddy David Hart. Dr. Hart runs Psycho, not Psycho Cybernetics. I'm getting all these books that are infiltrating my prefrontal cortex right now. Psycho Cybernaut, something like that in Sedona, which my house is in Sedona now, you guys. It's a brain training facility where they measure theta, gamma, delta, beta, brain waves and all the different dimensions and levels. And apparently if you can sit in Alpha 1 long enough and switch into delta, then you can literally bend spoons. So would you guys like to learn how to bend spoons? I don't know. I've watched the Matrix. I think it's cool. Spoon bending. I've never seen anybody do it in person, but I'm looking forward to doing it myself. And it's amazing what he was explaining. I was sitting around with Dr. Hart and he was saying if there was one non believer, if there was one person in the room that didn't believe, then it couldn't happen. So take that into consideration with these books that you purchase and you read that if you don't believe it's possible, if you don't see that it could happen for you, then it's never going to happen. So you gotta believe and believe in the people you love too. I know sometimes our own ego gets in the way and we almost self sabotage ourselves as a way of distracting other people from our mission or from their mission. And we don't know we're doing it. It's an unconscious thing. So many of these books are reworking your unconscious. And that's what we talked about in the very beginning. It's the inward progress that I like to focus on the most. I've literally spent five years of my life with one of my favorite mentors, Mr. Frank Scheidler, reading scripture from, you know, the Bible from the Science of Health from by the Science of Health was a textbook that was written that explained how Jesus did what he did as a metaphysical teaching back in the 1800s. She was the first woman to write about this stuff in the late 1800s. So she used to raise people from the dead. She used to heal cuts, spontaneously broken arms. And this is all documented, you guys, in these lectures. So at a young age, I was becoming a student of Christian Science. I've seen miracles. I've healed myself. My back. I had an issue of over 10 years of being in immense back pain. I could hardly walk. And then one time, after reading Science and Health, being in meditation with Frank, I literally felt my back snap. And I was like, what the heck? And I never had back pain like that ever in my life since then. So these spontaneous healings are happening all the time. But it's. We're so locked into. I need something external to heal the internal, where it's the reverse. If you shift the inner you, then the outer you will shift and it'll open up new possibility. And I healed my back that way. And it's happening all the time. People are praying for healing. They're literally. I've seen people chant in rooms where people have been hooked up because they have cancer and brain tumors that they can't do surgery on. So literally, people praying to the. To God, to the universe, and all of a sudden, they believe. So much so that the person's already healed that the brain tumor shrinks and disappears from the screen real time. This is powerful stuff. But we give our power away a lot to the external world, like I said. So these books will help you establish your own personal power once again and remind you of what you are. You're not a human having a human experience, I believe. And people have said this, you're a spiritual being having a human experience. I actually think you're a soul having a spiritual experience as a human. So the soul you is hooked up to the big you, the universe, or the Godhead or the brahma, whatever you want to call it. And I think the more and more we can get people to live from that level, the less fears we have around death, the issues of finance, the issues of relationship, all the things that can come up from the limited ego or the identity, as we would call it. So super powerful stuff. These books will help you. I have so many books. I've read, like I said, for years. I read a book a day now I read a book a week. Right now I'm really digging this guy by the name of Muji. And I'd love to have him on the show, too. I'd love to have my Don on eventually as well for you guys. So you can hear from the man firsthand if he'd be open to that. He's really changed my life with dream time and the portals and everything else. And it's so simple, the way he explains it. I think we complicate things as humans a lot. So he's like my Yoda. He just hits me over the head and it's. I get it. Super powerful stuff. I've talked about my books, you guys, that can transform your life. I gave you, I think, six. I would add. I don't like the number six. So let's add one more. Sammy, we got Psycho Cybernetics. I mentioned it anyway, which is by Maxwell Maltz. Now, this book will absolutely change your identity, which, when we operate from the identity level, will completely change who you are. And that's one of the things my brother from another mother, Jim Fortin. I've sent many of our organifi employees to him. He's a transformational coach. He helps them see that their identity is running the show, that it's not their conscious mind, but it's the unconscious. And when we start to shift that, it changes everything. And that's exactly what Maxwell Maltz talks about in his book Psycho Cybernetics. If you haven't read it, super powerful book. It radically transformed my life. He was a plastic surgeon, and people would come in and do all the surgery to their face. I believe it was in the 70s and 80s, and they would change their bodies, they would do the breast implants, they would do the Botox and the butt and all the things. And then they wouldn't feel any more worthy. So they would end up sabotaging things just as they were when they envisioned that just changing the way they looked would change how they operate in the world. And that's simply not. We must change the way we look at ourselves before the way we look will ever take hold and affect the our outside external situation. So Psycho Cybernetics would be book number seven now, depending on how much feedback we get for this podcast. Because this was an impromptu podcast on books on mentors, I want to offer you guys an opportunity to talk about some of my favorite business building books, if you'd be open to that. There's at least seven business building books that I know that I've read, that I've reread that. I had the organifi team read as well. And we've set up our business in such a way that it operates from these books. So I'd love to talk to you guys more about that as well. But leave a comment on the page, let me know if you want to see that podcast or listen to it. Just write business books. Yes, please, on there and we'll get to that. This has been a fun show today, you guys. I love talking books. I think eventually I do want to have a a book club with a big group. So maybe we'll do that clubhouse. Maybe we'll do that online at drew&you.com. if you haven't reviewed this podcast yet, you guys check it out. 5 star review on itunes, please, because what that's going to do is allow this to get more people's ears. They're beautiful ears. It's going to allow them to really shift the way they see themselves. When we do that individually, we have that individual transformation, then the whole world can change. But it starts with the individual transformation first. So you are here, front row seat. We're just getting started with this thing 2021. I love you. I want you to know that as always, we're in this together, Drew and you make it a great day.
