Way back when, you got to tell the origination story of how we met. Because my story is completely different, of course.
Wow. This is one of my favorite origin stories. At the time, I was working in Lululemon, loving life, and lo and behold, Drew Canole would come walking into our showroom. It was a test showroom downtown in San Diego at the time. And he lived in this apartment right above us. And he would cruise down, living out his transformation, trying on all kinds of different diets and nutrition techniques, testing everything. Testing, you could say. And unfortunately, in the store, we felt the brunt. Slight, slight indigestion, you could say.
Yeah. Four hour body. Yeah. My beans weren't cooked correctly.
Not following the instructions.
Normally, crop dusting was in effect. I can't believe we're sharing this on the podcast.
I knew we would. I knew we would.
It was bad. It was really bad. I'm sorry for that.
What I witnessed, though, Drew, very honestly, is you persevering, having resilience through personal transformation and finding your way through ultimately living it. We did yoga in the showroom. Right. Right in there.
Videos, HD flip cam. Before cell phones had cameras even. But, wow, that's crazy. It's weird to think about HD flip cam, where I was literally recording yoga at Lululemon every day for my content that I would then post on YouTube and help people get, like, fit.
Yeah, it was mobility. It was whatever you're working on, you're videoing it. And you'd rope us in. Inevitably.
Yeah.
There was, like, three of us working in the showroom at the time.
And if you've never been in a Lululemon, guys, they have the best employees. Like, they train them. They're all emotionally intelligent leadership workshops. And they're just good people, too. Like, they source the best people. So I said at the time, I said, you know what? One day May is going to work with this vision, this mission of FitLake TV and what we're creating. And then fast forward a year and I'm at East Village coffee shop or something.
You came walking in.
Yeah, I worked at my. I didn't have an office then, and I was writing copy or working on video scripts. And then you were doing long. Behold, you walked in.
And then. Do you remember our conversation?
I remember at the time, I had started personal training and actually rewind for a second, because it is part of our recruiting strategy to recruit Lululemon employees. Because it's true, they are groomed nicely.
Yeah.
Fast forward a year or so. I had been working in personal training industry and still staying connected with you. I was watching your transformation unfold and still in awe of just being a demonstration of that transparency. Cause I actually got to see you growing, going through this. Right. And still witnessing you a year later making YouTube videos, making content. And so we stayed in touch. Anyways, we run into each other in a coffee shop downtown. Cafe 976.
No, no, that's what it was called. 976 East Village or something.
Yeah, I think I'm making it up. But something close like that though. Great little cafe. Such a good community in there. This was truly your first office, I would say, in San Francisco.
First office. I would go to the coffee shop every day, basically.
Yes. And.
And I got a lot of work done. A Tony shop.
And you probably drank a lot of coffee. They probably loved you.
Oh yeah. Cuz when I go into any place, I act like it's my own, which is a secret to success. So I'm in the coffee shop, like emptying the trash that's full, like helping the barista with dishes and stuff. And you just, you become friends with everyone.
There's a total of community in there for sure. And at the time I, in personal training really saw the opportunity to move into workplace wellness. And so I knew that you were doing personal kind of personal transformation work in a really big way and wanted to see if we could try a project on together at the time, I think it was. Right.
Yeah. And I thought she was an unpaid intern. I'm like, this is great. I'm in California. I got this intern that wants to work with me.
I never remember an internship conversation.
Not gonna cost me anything.
Very different pages when we started.
But on the same page too.
Definitely on the same page for sure.
And I say that joking you guys. Of course. Everybody's do the right compensation for everything that they do. And sure enough, May and I worked together for two weeks. And literally I got more done in two weeks than I could ever even dream of. Just having a sounding board and somebody that was actually implementing and getting things done.
And I had never seen brilliant brain.
I mean, she knew more about nutrition than I did.
Thank you. True.
And I was the nutrition guy.
You were. You were the. The expert.
Yeah. Tells you. Tells you what the Internet looks like.
He was listening to his podcast at the time, that's for sure.
And yeah, podcasts. I read hundreds of books. And sure enough, May was like had all the information. She knew everything. This innate knowing, it was just alignment, Drew.
It was alignment.
And we worked. Yeah, we. We were helping one on one transformation clients at the time, I lost £40. I got in the best shape of my life. And that's the transformation Mae's talking about?
Yes.
I used to be a much bigger cannoli in Michigan, having shepherd's pie and macaroni and cheese and all the things that were taught, you know, to eat growing up with no micronutrients. Then I literally juiced every day for 90 days. And I. My whole body, my mitochondria, my microbiome, it all came to life and may witness just more of a light resonance in my field.
Radical transformation.
Radical transformation. I got a six pack. £40 I lost. And I was just posting online and everybody was like, hey, I want to do whatever you're doing. So we created the first course actually together. Remember that juice with Drew? Yeah.
Say it in unison. The heart of it, though, the heartbeat was mindset, which is so incredible to me. It was the perception of what changes and how it's possible.
Two and a half million people downloaded the alpha reset, and it was all about getting in. The reason why you guys, we were pretty covert. It was pretty brilliant, actually. So seven day reset, or was it. It was seven days and literally you didn't eat. You just juiced. And then at the end of it, you ate. It was like the first fasting, wide scale fasting program on the Internet back then.
And it was actually three days of fasting.
Okay.
It was a seven day protocol, though. You're right. You're right.
So three days of fasting and then a reintegration.
That's critical.
People would lose lots of water weight, of course, but they would also lose weight and they would start to control their taste. They train their taste to trim their waist.
So there's a lot of digital products in this conversation we're talking about, actually.
And yeah, it was so fun. And we. We didn't know what we were going to do next. We were just operating straight out of passion.
Yeah.
And helping people.
And it was the introducing. It was kind of the introduction of the idea that when you nourish your cells and, you know, very concentrated nutrients from juice, that there's this. You can't. You can break down the idea that if, you know, you're not eating a lot, you can still have lots of energy. So it was amazing to have people experience the power of vital nutrition through cellular nutrition. And that was low calorie high, you know, nutritional value juice. And the experience, I think, changed people's perception of really what's possible. So that juice f really disruptive at the time, it was early in the juicing days and whatnot. And of course pre intermittent fasting and pre keto and all this kind of era that we're in, I think it was, it was just powerful. For that reason alone. It reset the expectation that you could make change and not be in this state of deprivation. And so it was that perception shift, which I still look back on it with a lot of gratitude that we spoke to.
I think the average American consumed 4,000 calories a day. Mainly.
That's wild.
Yeah. Mainly macronutrients. Well, we, I don't know if you've looked around, but we kind of, kind of have an obesity epidemic.
It's an issue.
And so then we're like micronutrients. Low calorie people started to come alive, they felt better. Thousands of transformations were rolling in before and after photos. Every day we just get dozens of before and after photos and people were changing their life. And like May said, the big thing was mindset being changed your mind. You're never going to go back to the way that you once were.
Yeah. And it was so focused on instead of depriving yourself and at the time especially so many of the popular diets were, you know, cut out this, remove this, and instead it was. Although it was fasting, it was juice fasting. I was so focused on giving your body nourishment, nourishing the, the. You spoke so well and the program spoke so well to the benefit of what you're putting in your body. Even that perceptions, I think really critical. It's something that can be easily missed. But if you're focused on what you are giving your body versus what you are taking away. Taking away. It's actually an energetic exchange that's very different and stark contrast to let's say conventional diets and even fasting.
Yep. And we address language so liken to that. If we say we lost our keys, I need to find my keys, then you're, you're. The disconnect is you're always going to find them, you're going to get them back. Right. To lose weight, it's something that you lost. So you want to get it back. You're looking to get it back unconsciously.
Right.
So when we, when we come into our ideal body type or our disposition naturally, easily and gracefully eating what we love to eat, then we're always going to adjust to that form. And that's the Dolce pyramid of logical levels where we become the identity first and we operate from being versus doing.
There is A couple level shifts from that.
Yeah, there's a few. Yeah.
Yeah.
But at the end of the day. And you. You're the embodiment of that now. CEO of Organifi. So you've been through every. Literally 11 years ago, I was the intern, Right. Yeah. May is now leading the company. We are doing big things in the world, transforming millions of lives all over the place. How's the new. How's the new position going? How do you feel?
Goodness.
When I reflect on it. Thank you, Drew. When I reflect on it, it's something I would repeatedly commit to, undoubtedly unconditionally. This is something that is. Lights my soul on fire, quite literally, with so much gratitude. Thank you. And with it is so much stretchy growth challenge. I couldn't have imagined it'd be so challenging, honestly.
Really.
In, like, such a good way. Yeah. And maybe the crazy part is that I'd always sign up for it again.
Yeah.
She's dropping some code.
Ah. So good. So tell us about the challenges. What's happening? Let's get vulnerable.
Well, I wanted to even zoom out to some of the origin story.
Let's do that. We'll do that too. What do you think the big challenges are?
The balance. And. And maybe it's even the disruption of the idea of balance. But there's these two words, balance and harmony, that are frequently upfront for me, let's say. And it's the balance and harmony between intuition and then enrollment.
So in this seed in particular, where I find consistent growth, and that's just replacing the word challenge. Consistent growth is leaning in to where there is kind of the intersection of trusting. Right. Intuition and knowing, the sense of, like, why I'm here and what I'm here to do. And this, like, beautiful part of, you know, my life experience, which I'm so grateful for. And then the enrollment of the Organifi culture and where we're headed. And so it's this balance. Right. On one hand, if I only lean into the knowing and the intuition.
Yeah.
Without the communication and enrollment, there's inevitably a disconnect. Right. So it's taking. It's kind of painting this picture of vision that's the in between, which is almost like, you know, learning how to paint or something.
I love that. I. I think you're. You're probably one of the most balanced humans I know, which is crazy gracious of you. Yeah. I think your morning ritual definitely sets you up for success. One thing, because May's been married for three years. Five years. Wow. I was at her wedding five years ago.
That's ridiculous.
And she never compromises relationship. She never compromises relationship with herself in the morning when she goes on her walks or paddle boarding with Steven or having your coffee. Like, they've literally. They have such a beautiful relationship. And I think that definitely aids in the balance of that too.
It does. And I'm leaning on that.
Yeah.
In conversation with Steven more and more with just gratitude for the balance that. That he also supports so well in our relationship and especially with our different chapters. And I think it's.
Part of that. This year in particular was looking at this, this shift into the seat for me, the CEO seat, and doing that together. So we definitely had a very real conversation and said, Stephen, hey, this is, you know, this is what I'm looking at taking on. And let's have the conversation of what this, you know, what this means in our dynamic and through this year. Could not have imagined.
This without the intentionality that we had together.
So. Intention.
Intention communication.
Yeah. Because it's an interesting dynamic.
Yeah.
You know, woman, woman in the house, taking over this powerful position in an organization. And Stephen, he's like the biggest supporter ever. Like, of course he loves and admires and wants to do whatever he can possible to help. And it's almost like a law in the universe. Whatever we need will always make its way to us. So with that being said, you knew you would need that additional support and you know, holding space and he just, he's a space holder for sure. He's in a beautiful way, in a very strong way.
Yeah, it's the concept by design, you know, that has it feel very.
True. And.
You know, we got great advice early in our. Actually right before we got married, this, this older gentleman came up to us when we were. We were out at Catamaran by the Bay. And this older gentleman came up and said, you know, oh, you guys look like, you know, you're so in love or something, like very cliche and. And say, can I give you some advice? And of course we were like, oh my gosh. Oh my God, this is the most magical moment. We're like, yes, please. You know, if we, if only we had asked him, you know, I'm seeing.
A guy that kind of looks like Gandalf.
Basically a smaller beard, but basically a Gandalf arrived in our existence, in our, in our. In our life experience. And he said the best advice in relationship is that it's always a hundred percent. And this is like one of my favorite things to share. It's the idea that it's never 50. 50. You're never trying to do your part. Instead, it's 100%, meaning you are all in always. And it's the experience that, you know, if someone shows up at 20%, the other person's making up 80. But instead, if you just looked at it, like 100% always, it's never a matter of calculation. And so, you know, zooming back out to the conversation at hand, as Steven and I looked at this year, his. His role in. In our relationship in any. In, you know, the biggest way has been magnified in minding the details in such a magnificent way that he's just naturally strong at. And planning the, you know, travel in more detail and managing the house and the updates we did this year in ways that, you know, literally I don't have the capacity and maybe the. The skills.
Well, I mean, being a projector. Yeah. Visionary. The details sometimes aren't your strength.
Yeah. And he's. He is very much that, you know, it's. It's his sweet spot. And so it's giving us permission in a lot of ways to expand into what's naturally our strength. So it's been this really powerful year for us. Wow. Yeah.
Probably one of the most powerful.
Yeah.
The five.
And it is. Yeah. Of the five, definitely these. These five have flew. Flew by.
Was there ever a time in the relationship where you were like, I don't know if this is gonna work?
You know, I think in relationship.
No. And why. What I believe about being in relationship is the commitment that this is worth seeing through the arguments. And so especially in a marriage, and that's just the, you know, evolution of an initial relationship. What I knew and what I'm confident we were both getting into was that level of a relationship, which is through the arguments, through the disagreements, there is this unconditional, almost like a peace kind of. Which is, through all of that, it's worth finding the balance again and finding the connection again, regardless of, you know, ideally, the goal is always to get there faster, to make it easier. Right.
Yeah.
What about. Has there ever been any, like, conversations that were, like, super difficult that you've had?
Of course.
Maybe one recently.
Drew's just looking into my soul right now. I think the thing that comes up for us. And I'll talk about two different things. The challenge in a. In a. In a repeating theme. I think that's. That feels like the borderline of, you know, are we ever going to resolve this? Is this going to keep showing up? You know, this kind of, like, ineffectiveness or Maybe like feeling incapable. So whenever there's a reoccurring theme that's always a little bit more scary or a little bit more intimidating, let's say, than our typical. The recently talking through. Of course, Drew asked this question recently, talking through being okay when we don't agree. And that's just an interesting place. I think Stephen and I are so frequently aligned and I'm grateful for that. In having so many of the same core values and things that we care about, same passions and this like beautiful overlap in our careers, the industry, we. We are obsessed with and care most about, you know, health and wellness. So we have a lot of. We have the benefit of so much that overlap. And there's then still areas where Steven and I are thankfully opposites in many ways and just on different ends of the spectrum and that supports our relationship most of the time. And then there's this small space where sometimes we just disagree. And it's the okayness in remaining respectful and loving and caring and even in awe and admiration of how we disagree. And that's the place that I think is, you know, a powerful arrival location when we're in that kind of disagreement or argument.
Yeah, I think there's one. There's a big discussion happening all over the world right now with things that are potentially being mandated on people and there's a lot of fear in the world. And the way May presented this to me two months ago was from such equanimity and peace. Do you remember what we were talking about back then?
Was it the.
The jibber jab? Like we were talking about the jab jab. Can't say it on here.
Yes.
And. And then, you know, of course you guys have different opinions, you and Stephen, about the whole thing. And I was like, how is that even possible? Like my mind goes to. Oh, like this is a huge deal.
Like a breaking point.
Yeah, like a. Like I would perceive it as that.
Right?
Me personally, from the limited context world that I come from. And then May is constantly expanding my life, you guys. And you. Do you remember what you said to me about that?
Remind me.
Well, it was so there was such non judgment and there was so much compassion that it was, hey, if somebody needs that to feel safe, to feel secure, to feel like they're whole and they're complete or whatever, then what does that have to do with me? Has nothing. Right.
It's this, this era, right Today, this chapter gives us such a practice ground for that. Again, I'll say like a rival place, but this opportunity to practice Finding commonality to finding the human behind maybe the action or the opinion. Right. And even in my. My family. Right. Going through Covid. Going through definitely having very different opinions on what is right and what we believe in. It was the practice in complete acceptance. Right. So it wasn't the. And. And even. Yeah. Between Steven's family, my family, even, you know, my sister, my mom and dad, and.
Just different.
Just different. Yeah. And being okay with that. And I mean that. Actually, it's so interesting that it just expanded from the conversation piece between Steven and I. But actually it's a representation of what's available in our families, in our communities, workplaces, global. Right. And it does take this, like, kind of stretching. There's this discomfort right in the middle where you're like, is there an assumption where I need to agree with what is being presented to me from those that I love, let alone those that I don't even know? Right. And instead, it's the ability to practice just actually representing what's true for you and still accepting what's different. Right.
Yeah. Because a lot of people are caught in that crux where they. They don't believe in it. They don't want to do it, but because their family's so quote, unquote, enrolling, like, okay. And then they do it, and then they. They're not living their truth.
Yeah.
So what I appreciate about what you just said is your truth is your truth, and your truth will set you free.
There it is.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yes. And I, you know, I can't imagine a better environment to very much get the intense opportunity to try this on and to also, you know, kind of flex those boundaries for yourself and to finding what's true for you and to being able to communicate that and to being able to connect with people with differing opinions and differing lifestyles and still find the humanity and the connection despite that, or. Or with that included, I'll say, which is even, you know, different intentionality there.
Yeah. It's beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Drew. I figured you'd sprinkle in some joy in there.
Yeah, no, we had to. It's a big theme in the world, so we like to talk about those themes that are happening and bring peace and bring joy. All the things.
All of it.
So three years in a row, Organifi has been one of the best places to work in the country.
Yes.
What do you. What do you think that is?
Oh.
You know, when I think about culture, because I think it is culture, I think it's the. The resonance, the heartbeat that's inside an organization. And I do like to think about this like a kombucha or like a yogurt. It's literally like the mother right in the bottom of the apple cider vinegar that you're like, what the heck is that? And it's actually the goodness.
Yeah, that's what you want to drink.
Yeah, you want to drink that stuff. And so I think about the culture in any organization and the treasure kind of the goal is to have it defined enough, unique enough, and funky enough to have some people try it on and say, yuck. And to have other people try it on and say, yes, this is me. This is exactly who I am. And my God, my soul's never been alive like this before. Right?
Yeah.
And its origin so came from just leaning in so heavy on who we were, who, you know, kind of the founding team was, and, like, embracing our woo. Right. Like just being nerdy and goofy and loving what we were doing and then looking to expand from that place. And I'll contrast. To make this more specific, contrasting that from the idea of looking at a big organization and saying, great, let's design that. So it's what you use as the goalposts, I think. And so for us, it was very early on, let's be as much ourselves as humanly possible, you know, 100%.
Yeah. So definitely being as much as us as humanly possible. We literally have dance parties every day, meditation clinics. People speak from all over the world on our zoom now. And we're here in California. We kind of 11 years ago, we said a lot of the trends. I mean, juicing wasn't even around then. So we rolled it out.
Well, I love to look back and the things that I. That I am continually proud of and grateful for being a part of in the beginning, Drew, are things like speaking to the organic movement before it was mainstream in our Costcos in California, for sure. And looking at. And it wasn't, you know, it wasn't going to a park and yelling at people about being organic at all. Instead. Instead, it was making great YouTube videos that, again, this is like. This was your sweet spot. This is something that I continually have so much gratitude and loving respect for so much of your origin story, but it was being able to really make organic approachable for people. It was like in the very beginning of, you know, some of the Dirty Dozen and the clean 15 and looking at, you know, how do. How do people try on these.
You know, these productive and I'll say, like, proactive, healthy lifestyles that Maybe feel out of reach initially. How do we bring those to approachability for people? And it looked like, hey, if you're going to be choosing these vegetables, try to juice these organic. Right. It was really early on looking at, hey, if you're going to reduce your total caloric intake, if you're going to concentrate the nutrients you're getting in your body, definitely make that organic. Right. Let's not introduce, you know, herbicides and pesticides in a detoxification experience for your body. So that was early and that was. And like if you look back drew like you know, 10 years ago to what it is now, organic sometimes in grocery stores is less expensive. Grass fed is less expensive than you know, conventional meat, let's say or something. Like we've gone like we've got to witness this pretty impressive.
Industrial industry shift, let's say not industrial but industry shift which is supporting a more sustainable food system. And I'm so grateful for that and being, being at least some part of that in the beginning with some of the message that we were sharing and making approachable.
Yeah, we were literally helping people vote with their money.
Yes. So differently.
Yeah. Look at food differently, look at their health differently, look at their mindset differently. So it's been very rewarding.
Yes.
I mean even in the beginning we were getting like 10 to 16 million hits on our website per month. Organically wild. So it kind of, it took off like rocket fuel. We had the right team and now here we are 2021. 2021, creating the world's greatest superfood products. We just got a certification, which is actually my favorite one. You want to talk about it?
Glyphosate residue free? Yeah, of course, yeah, yeah. So I mean building on the idea of USD organic and supporting the practices that help maintain and sustain great soil health. Right. Whether it's literally, of course not using pesticides and herbicides, we've elevated.
Yeah, that's like basic level.
And now it is. Thank you.
Now you're a basic biatch if you're just organic.
Well, what's beautiful is in now layering above and beyond certifications that really help us dial in the specific practices. And when farmers, let's say a grower can't afford a small time farmer, they can't afford the USDA organic certification, they could still get this next level certification we're talking about which is put on by the detox project and it's called glyphosate residue free. And essentially it's just testing for making sure there's no Roundup ready on your food.
Yeah. Which is an antibiotic which if you don't know, destroys your gut. You guys, lots of documentaries on this already created. Wrecking the bees. All the neuro programs that bees have because of this stuff. And they actually, the lawsuit just passed to where they're going to take it off the shelves.
Really.
Which is great, thankfully. But of course they already have another one. Right. They're going to start marketing, which is. Yeah. Just poisonous, guys.
I think it's just raising that awareness level and minimally, certifications allow us to in so many ways create transparency for the consumer base. Also qualify products that are really taking a stand for quality standards for the future. Right. So it's all part of it. I don't think it's the answer. I think it's a really critical piece of the puzzle. Helping customers very much and still big ways vote with their dollars and saying, hey, I care about this. You know, I don't want Roundup ready being used glyphosate. Right. These things that have been, like you said, so well researched and there's tons of information out there. I'm sure in the show notes we can link some. And it's just, I feel like it's a starting place in this era of, you know, continued transparency. I think what I'm, what I'm really curious about is more than, you know, QR codes on cereal boxes which connect people to a farmer video waving at them. You know, what is, what is it going to really take to see a larger sweeping consumer change, consumer connection with their food? It's a beautiful hawk outside, Drew.
Oh my gosh. Mesa birdwatcher, you guys, I am a bird watcher.
I am beautiful, beautiful red tail just soared by us. Gorgeous window.
Hopefully they're not looking at the koi.
They might be a little bit of breakfast fish taco. Anyway, so there's this. Yeah, I'm just interested to find out. And I guess not, not even to find out, but to participate in the consumer connection with food. And from, you know, from my upbringing, what I, what I believe in is when, you know, humanity, when the broad sweeping consumer reconnects with where food comes from. And it's as simple as school garden programs. It's as impressive as the immense farmer's market movement that's happened. CSAs and their reconnection with food in a very real seasonal sense, I think more powerfully than a QR code on a box. And that's not to say that those aren't wonderful. I think that's A really, really scalable way to connect people with their food.
But I'm excited about what's next. I'm excited about zooming in small, local, impactful.
You think we'll spearhead that?
Yeah, I'd love to. And there's so much, I mean we're in, we're in San Diego. There's so many programs and opportunities to get involved with and that's a really important chapter with organifi in particular and just this next era of food.
You've had a lot of testimonials and transformations come in from your family of people on organifi products.
I have, yes. Which I'm so grateful you want to.
Talk about one of those like one that just really touches your heart.
You know, my, my father in law actually has this morning routine of including pure in his like first thing out of bed and enjoys pure. He actually suffers from pretty consistent seizures. Seizures. And if he as, as he includes pure, it's been one of the most consistent ways to.
So he's noticed that it supports him probably with cognitive function or some brain capacity to where he's not experiencing as.
Many seizures and such A morning routine. Yeah, yeah. And then of course my, my parents, they make brown juice, which is all the products all together, all the time.
Brown juice.
Brown juice. And what I, you know, as, as part of my family, which I am so grateful for, is that they aren't under the weather. They are, you know, I can't remember the last time my parents were sick or ill. Right. And it's just this.
Something that we so easily take for granted. I think as we elevate our, our sense of well being and our health and our routines of really caring for our nutritional well being especially.
Well, the nutritional well being is just your biological body.
It is.
And we know that there's a magnetic body, an electric body, a light body, an auric body, different orc fields, and then we have different bodies that operate in different unified fields altogether that all connect to the zero point field of the tachyon speed in which our light body travels at. But that's a whole other conversation. Maybe.
Is it though?
So essentially.
The more in tune we become with our biological multidimensional suit, the more control we have over our, what we would even call our future self. There's a line that connects us with the version of us that's a day out, two days out, three days out. And the more we can sense using our sixth sense or our first eye, the more that information funnels back to you to where it's like, hey, you're feeling a little fatigued. And now all of the greatest biohacking tracking whoop or Apple Watch, they have hrv, which is cool, very cool. But if you only knew the superpowers that you have beyond this mundane five sense world, this 3D reality and you, the more access you get to those by eating high quality nutrition by infusing your body with liquid light from organifier products like it. The more access, the more lines you get in communication in the code that we would call the simulation or whatever you want to call it. And I've noticed that like the more connected I am, the more at peace, the more still stillness I have in my mind. I can't remember the last time I felt anything less than 80% right.
It's like tuning into a radio clearly, right? A channel frequency.
Your body's a tuning fork and it's a frequency holder. So even walking into a room and recognizing bad frequencies in dirty energy or people that have dirty energy in their field. Right. I think you can catch chi or energy from somebody else more than you can catch a V. And that's real talk.
You used to describe this as kind of like dirt on a mirror, right. And as you're, let's say, cleaning up your nutrition, your cellular health, you're tuning in. It's the representation of cleaning off this mirror so you can see clearly and in everyday kind of language. It's also translating to intuitive well being. Right. There's obviously, you know, the movement of intuitive eating and all these things. But really what you're talking about and this, this ability to even imagine your future self and tune into what's true for you. It is this piece of intuition, right?
Yeah.
With this knowing.
I love that. Yeah. The magnetic mirror.
Yes.
The hall of mirrors, which is the reality in which we live.
Well, let's talk, let's talk some, some change. Let's talk how change happens a little bit. We'll get into a little bit of modeling because I think what's.
This is my interview.
I knew it.
No, but I love, I love where we're headed. Well, because so, so how do we change?
And here's where I'll connect to where we just came from is the ability to tap into your intuitive well being. Right. Requires self awareness. Right. And there's a couple models which in the early days of, you know, our work together when we were FitLife TV building content and community, we got to experience, I think a lot of these models and I want to bring up a couple so someone listening to this could totally take some notes and think which of these.
Yeah, give them some demonstrable action points.
Let's do this.
And it'll be in the show notes.
Well, it will. So you can think of these kind of.
Factors that make change easy and something that we got to practice in or play in when we were fitlife TV is really looking at. And Drew you in this beautiful environment, this new house that you're in, right? In San Diego. It's gorgeous. And it's this demonstration of the power of changing your environment is actually the catalyst for changing your routines 100%. So what I want to present, and many people think, oh, I'm moving. You know, I'm. This is gonna be a really hard time in my life. I have to pack up. I've gotta, you know, get all my things and relocate. And it's really hard. Well, also wrapped up in that challenge is this really important opportunity to capitalize on, let's say. And that is the opportunity to reshape your routines, your rituals, even your identity in a new location. So in the very early days, Drew relocated from Florida to San Diego, reimagined his entire life in the, you know, snap of his fingers so quickly. And I believe so much of that had to do with you reshaping your environment and changing your environment. So whether this is your group of friends, whether this is a new literal house, a new home. Right. New location, a new city, a new job, a new gym, a new, you know, anything like that gives you the opportunity to reset and to make a new decision. And it's just on the opposite side of the coin from feeling like it's an obstacle and a challenge. So there's this one, this nice mode of transformation and change is looking at the opportunity that environment change offers. That's number one.
Yeah.
And so when you listen to this, you know, or those listening to this, think about, as you go through a couple of these, listing out maybe what in the past has worked for you or what right now is available for you. Right. So that's one of them. And we saw that when we were working with your high end transformation clients too. We would either, you know, infuse a ton of environmental change for them or we'd ship them out. What was it?
Remember tennis shoes, juicer tennis shoes?
We would reset their whole, you know, basically in home lifestyle, and you'd do that for them. It was almost like a transplant.
Even before they paid to get coaching.
Yeah, yeah, very. And that, like, had them enrolled. It was an amazing Ability to get them started. Right? Yeah, yeah. The other piece in your high end kind of transformation chapter was also accountability. So do you remember the. How you'd essentially have them kind of proclaim their transformation?
Yeah, the identity process.
Yeah. Do you want to talk a little bit about that?
Yeah. I would film them, literally a three to five minute video, speaking as if what they wanted has already happened, why they wanted it, what it would do for them, what they wanted to see when they'd look in the mirror, what they'd want to hear from their friends 90 days from now and then what they would want to feel in their body. So you do feel, touch, taste, hear as many senses as possible, all anchored into the future version of who they are. And this was 11 years ago, you guys.
It was.
And the theory is, and quantum entanglement is an atom that is in May, that's resonating at a certain frequency is also part of Jupiter's orbit. Right now the whole universe is connected through the zero point field. Right. So the future you is already created in a different timeline. What you're doing is you're closing the gap through using your five human senses. And the more you feel it. Feeling's a secret. Like Neville Goddard talks about in the 1920s. Like, read all his works. I've read all of his works. You literally close the gap in time because time is an illusion. Frequency is the location of the whole entire universe. And not to go down the rabbit hole or anything, but it's why there's pyramids set up not only on Earth, but on different planets. Because when you start to see the world or the universe going through space, not in the heliocentric, but as it's pivoting through time like a clock, they're actually following the sun. So like into watches or a dial on a watch, like you have these different arms. You know, the pyramids of Egypt, the pyramids on the moon, the pyramids and the Mayan temples, all of these are just locational frequency points. So when your future self is in a location period of, hey, I remember what that feels like to already have that. It's just sending more information back to your present moment, which actually makes your present moment embodied function transformation happen 10 times faster. So people would get massive results. Long story, short scientific explanation. We went on a tangent a little bit.
I was smiling that whole time.
But they would literally transform and they would literally have more energy than they'd have. More mental focus, more connection, more presence with the people that they love, more time with their kids. Four Times the amount of money one guy was tracking how much revenue he was making in his business. All because we focused on his antenna, which is the human body. So if that sounds interesting to you, I haven't done a high end transformation in a while, but I have the perfect house in California now to do that. Hit me up DM me on Instagram.
Come on out to San Diego.
Come on out, San Diego. And with that, spend three days transforming your life. And I'm only taking crypto, by the way, so you got to pay me in crypto.
Drew's not kidding with that magical formula, though, was also the sharing of that video with that person's community. So what I want to talk about is then the second piece. And not only, yes, this 5D programming, the intentionality. Right, the time collapsing that you spoke to so eloquently true can only. But the other piece and the other piece, which is equally important, which was sharing your intention with a community that matters. Right.
Which we've used in organifi too, a lot.
Big time. Big time.
So it's just collective. Collective mind alchemy is essentially what we're doing.
It's this formulation. It's like it's change psychology. And it's also like quantum mechanics.
Yeah. Because when the more impressions we have on the mind, which I believe a lot of the dark side is using, this is like dark magic, by the way. A lot of Hollywood is dark magic. We don't need to go down the rabbit hole. But they impress things on the collective mind. Right. For some, some events that they want to happen in the future. And the more people that see it, the more real it becomes. It impresses it on the actual Matrix, if we want to call it that. So what we were doing was the opposite. We were impressing a future self upon the collective mind of the group so that it could materialize faster. And to sum it all up in one line, it's actually in the Bible. Jesus says, when two or more gather in my name, it is created. So it's the joint mind, the collective mind. And when your brothers and sisters see you in your highest, when they know that you can transform when you have it in your body, it's just natural that the universe, God, whatever you want to call it, delivers it to you through that. Which is why prayer, the power of spoken word or the power of invoking, like in saying things that you want to have happen out loud, has a really, really powerful effect on the visible and the invisible worlds that you and.
I live in, there it is.
So that was number two.
Yeah.
Collective accountability. And also looking at the format in which you respond best to accountability. Is it one on one? Is in a group, typically leveraging accountability with someone that you highly respect and don't want to let down.
Yeah. Somebody you. You look up to.
Yeah.
Or you admire your mirror neurons in your brain, like, what they see. So you get dopamine or you get these other neurochemicals that are sent and you get lit up. We could call it like, lit like a Christmas tree. Right. You're around those people like, whoa, I didn't even think this was possible. Like, I need to be in this frequency. Because transformation is just a frequency. And it's like a fire. Like that transformational fire hits you, and then all of a sudden, you're the biggest advocate for whatever it is. Which is why, you know, some of the world's religions have taken off like rocket fuel.
Feel that fire? It's all energy. So with us, when you drink organifi. Green juice and you feel the energy, you just want to share it with every single person. When you feel good, it's like Zen in a cup. Cortisol goes down, Stress hormones out the window. You feel totally supported, totally nourished. Why would you not want to have that and share it with every single person you love? Which is exactly why we started FitLife TV in the first place.
One of the most magnetic parts of humans is our energetic self. Right. Our most magnetic piece, our energetic state.
Yeah.
And how to change your energetic state most impactfully is energize your cells on a cellular level.
Mitochondria.
Mitochondria, yeah.
Time, energy, none of it matters. What matters is how much mitochondria you have that's firing your ATP because it sends a shot of electricity, electrical current to your magnetic field, which is where your soul is. So when we talk about soul travel, when we talk about out of body experiences, when we talk about seeing future timelines, access to superpowers, it's your magnetic field. Your soul is in your magnetic field. Which is why all the photos of, like, the avatars in the past all had the white halo. That was just their interpretation of what the magnetic field looks like.
Let's stay in this realm. We'll talk about modality number three, which is beliefs. Beliefs and perception around change.
Yeah.
So the idea that maybe change is hard. Right. So common changes.
Takes time. And it's, you know, something you have to go through. Right.
You're an expert at this, and that's like reframing your beliefs. So one thing we do at Organifi, which is probably one of the reasons why we've been voted one of the best places to work, is when we hear language that's no longer serving the human on a really high level. Right. Limited language, limited programming, Programming that holds them or constricts them into becoming something that they don't want to become. It's the communication with their highest, most authentic version of who they are. We actually call it out. It's like, hey, like, are you sure you wanted to say it like this? Because the spelling or the spells that they're casting with the language that they're using on their body is ineffective. So May is like an expert reframer. She literally reframes everything. She catches me too. Yeah. So talk a little bit about that with beliefs. In regards to beliefs.
Andrew, you, you said it so well. Our words create our reality and our beliefs and perceptions.
Yeah.
In totality. Right. So as we're looking at, and you spoke to it earlier, if you're looking at losing weight, even the word choice of losing has you look for it later, right? It's maybe the yo yo diet trap potentially, right? Lose it, gain it back. And so instead looking at releasing weight or achieving your ideal body shape. You know, there's so many different ways to perceive change and especially transformation, especially when it comes to aesthetic and, and health transformation, right?
Yeah.
If we look at even the idea of where our minds and where our focus is, right. What you appreciate, appreciate. Appreciates where you, where your attention, where your, I guess, where attention goes, right. Your energy flows also. So in the same way we can translate words into our kind of mental focus as well. And looking at, if we have the intentionality to look for progress in our sense of change in our, in our transformation journey, that's what we will magnify and expand on. So it's so common for.
Human beings, right. To naturally look at where they're failing, where they're falling short, where they're naturally not seeing the progress they want. And then on the other side of the coin, they're missing this massive sense of progress. So it's so important to look at, not only.
To assess where you're looking for progress and that you actually are at all, right. Where most of us stall out in seeing progress and making change because we are not actually looking for it, instead looking for the opposite evidence. So just as like a self awareness tool is where is your sense of progress and change in transformation? Make it something that is daily, make it something that you can have gratitude and appreciation for. And that's really where we focused on this, like, 1% better mechanism early on is, you know, and this is a, you know, goofy example. But if you normally had a whole bag of cookies and you only had half a bag, that is definitely progress.
You know, that's like me and Oreos. I can't just have one. You have to eat a whole sleeve.
That's why there's no Oreos in Drew's house.
Yeah. I don't know. If you look in here, I have no snacks.
Yeah, yeah.
Environmental control.
Yeah. And you can look at, you know, there's. I always love to look at our book club mentality. And I think there's like a thousand books you could be recommending during this podcast. But in Change, James Clear is an amazing, you know, Atomic Habits. Incredible.
That's a good book.
Incredible.
Compound effect, right?
Compound.
Slight edge.
Some of my favorites.
Yeah, those are both good.
Yes.
What about other change books?
I really like the book Triggers. Michael. I'll put in the show notes. He brings up the mechanism of progress tracking in. In and kind of where a lot of my beliefs in momentum. So it come from. Which is essentially whatever you are tracking builds momentum. Right. Action builds momentum. And motivation, honestly, comes from action, not the other way around. And so he brings up the kind of. Not the proper, but powerful questions such as, did I do my best to eat healthy? Did I do my best to work out today? So it's this also this format of assessing progress and questions that really allows individuals to.
Reflect effectively, I think.
Yes. Most importantly, the Perfect day formula too.
Oh, yeah.
Our boy Craig. Craig, yeah, yeah. Valentine.
Yes.
Seven habits of Highly Effective People. Good for change as well. Napoleon Hill, you guys think and Grow Rich and the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles. That's a great one for changing around money.
Yes.
So those are. We give them seven books on change.
Start there.
Yeah, start there. Order them all today. We'll put them in the show notes too.
And in that, I think the theme there is so much of the secret to making long lasting change is in your daily habits. And so so much as the compound effect, even these like formulaic approaches is really looking at, you know, whatever you do daily is compounding. And so it's not the fact that you go to the gym once a week. It's not the fact that you, you know, went for a hike once a month. It's instead what you did, what you do daily that has that compounding impact.
It's crazy too, because you'll Go a year. Like, I had a strength threshold that I was hitting right at the gym. And then all of a sudden, I had this huge improvement, like 30%. I didn't change anything at all. It's just all of a sudden, bam. Like, you. You get these things in your life, like music. Another example on the guitar, I was practicing finger picking, and I went like, two weeks playing, and I'm like, I sound worse today than I did yesterday, right? And you get in your head, plateau. And then all of a sudden, boom. You hit, like, one of those ramps. There was this old video game called F0 where the car actually goes, like, 50 times faster. And those ramps are there. As long as you're consistent. You just have to keep going, even if it's for five, ten minutes a day.
Star power in Mario.
Yeah, like the star becoming invincible in Mario. Unstoppable, unshakable. And it'll happen. Did you just sing?
I did.
Wait a minute. I just missed this. Can you do that again?
It was just the Mario, you know, star power.
Oh, I thought it was like.
Oh, yeah, you're right.
Yeah, something like that.
To play it on here. And what's so interesting is the insights from each of those phases, even in the plateau, right? The plateau is actually telling you something. So instead of thinking the plateau is literally a plateau, it is actually biofeedback from your body, right? Which is saying, hey, either the learning mechanism gets to be adjusted, or even your body needs time to process what you've learned to then make gains 100%. Right?
Yeah.
Which is incredible. And so it's this perception, right? We're talking about beliefs and perception around change that has massive impact. So, you know, we can look at, you know, where in these areas, whether it's environment, physical environment, or even the people you're around, right. That are supporting your change. It's the accountability. Right. Another piece of that. Or it's.
Yeah. The power of eight. Lynn Mataggart wrote that book.
Ooh, good one.
Where you literally create because every human body is a crystalline body in nature. And when we invoke, when we speak about what we want to create, you can literally, like, lower the crime in the world. You can change massive things in government by all coming together and, like, creating these. These groups. So your environment or whatever frequency their body is powered at. You could read power versus force if you want. Tells you where they are in their own journey and their own awakening and whatever they're up to. And when you get around people that are low vibe, most people have like 100. Like, even after Covid, I think the. The vibrational rate dropped like 30 with COVID Yeah. So when you get around people like that, it's like you're waiting in urine, as Stuart Wilde would say.
You're waiting.
Yeah. Like, the average frequency of. Of especially here in America, is so low to where most people's friendship circles, it's just energetic garbage. You feel drained. You feel like you're being energy vamped around most of the people. So once you get around your tribe, that's like high evolved, high energy love frequency. Like, those are the people you want and that are doing change, that are going through the demonstrable transformation, living it. Yeah.
And we saw that early in building a massive community Right. On Facebook, early in. In the Facebook era. And it was such a key piece of supporting the community and changing, actually. So when individuals got involved in that, that's probably the. The fifth. Is it the fourth or fifth mechanism for change that works so well? And it of course has to do with environment and accountability, but it is surrounding yourself with people that are also on the same mission, going through similar change and connecting with those people so powerfully.
Yeah. You want to be around tugboats or lighthouses. Right. The anchor, there's a lot of anchors to stop your boat dead in its tracks.
Yeah.
They don't do it on purpose. In Australia, they call it the tall Poppy syndrome. So the. The weeds or the flowers will actually sequester the nutrients out of the soil. If one gets. Starts getting bigger, they'll try to choke it out. So human beings can do that. In general, they see you rising too quickly because it's uncomfortable as hell for them. Somebody that you grew. Grew up your whole entire life with, now all of a sudden you had the Mario Brothers star. You're just crushing life.
Let me keep that star. Yeah.
Like, that's hard for people. But real friends, they will be with you till the end. Like Wayne Dyer says, they'll get on the trolley of life. Some will get off early, some will get off two stops, and some people will be on the trolley your whole entire life. Those are the friends that you want.
To keep around unconditional.
Yeah. And those friends are seeking you. Like St. Francis of Assisi says, what you seek is seeking you.
Yeah. That's a beautiful reminder.
So it's all here right now. Your friends, your environment, everything that you need to be successful. You want to talk to us about icky guy? I like saying that word.
Icky guy.
Icky guy.
I do.
Tell us about icky Guy.
How.
How is that related to organifi?
Well, in the early days, it was a. Dan Buettner's research that popularized this for, I think you and I in the early days. Yeah, Blue zones, there's longevity research. It was basically studying the populations in the world that lived the longest and had the highest life quality. Right. And what he found was this concept of icky guy. Yes, Right. And it was essentially individuals connected to a life purpose. Their reason for getting out of bed.
Come on.
That happen to be connected with their work. Their life's work, my life's work. They were actually the same. Right. So this, this intersection point being, you know, kind of this, this sweet spot for individuals living out their life's work and building into longevity and this, I guess this mix of contribution and purpose. Right. That really continues to light people's souls up. And so early in the early days of fitlife, even in organifi, we leaned heavy on personality assessments. Heavy, heavy leaning. We loved it. We nerded out on them. We so much behind it was just our obsession with self awareness and building into strengths. You know, there was Strength Finder as one of them. Right. Colby Disc.
I mean all Colby index B.
There you go.
Myers Briggs. What it presents Gene Keys, Human design. What else? What you got?
I've got print. That's a good one. Yeah.
Synergist, right?
What is it? Predictable success. Yes. Great, great.
We became self assessment junkies.
We did. And the underlying. I think the underlying positive intentionality theme behind all of that was also in recognizing where our strengths lie. If we tune those to our point of contribution in our work and we can unlock this idea of.
Icky guy to some degree. And this idea of as we work in the way that lights us up and brings us alive, work doesn't feel like work anymore. Work feels like fun. Work feels like something that we get to do instead of have to do.
I recorded an amazing podcast, May, on what our real work to do is here.
Oh. And.
And it was all about controlling the fourth dimension, which is the thought realm, and then bringing it into 3D. So when we're on a train or a bus or an airplane, we're not in our own minds thinking about the past or the future. We're actually in our heart and we're sending love to every human being around us. We're becoming a vessel for a higher vibrational thought. And that's what work is like to control the thought realm. Work in the what we deem as work.
Right.
Is all an illusion. So many people are Doing what they don't love. So many people message me every day, hey, can I get a job at Organifi? It looks like you guys are really loving what you're doing. Like one third of your life is spent quote unquote, working. Why not do what you love?
What if it lit you up every day?
Yeah. So we've literally fired people for not loving what they do.
I like to call it mindfully.
Mindfully transition.
We partner with people and recognize that a transition is necessary.
And yeah, I'm being facetious when I say fire you guys. I think that's a little brash.
Well, no, it's loving every team member so much so that if they're not on purpose and on mission at Organifi, then absolutely, it's our heart's work to set them free and definitely support them in their next chapter. And that actually is a really important, powerful spot that I, I do enjoy. And, and ideally, of course, recognizing that I organifi and when it's not that way, it's completely okay.
Yeah, I've actually, I've struggled with that a little bit as of lately.
Taking it personally?
No, I've shared. I've shared this with you. Oh, we're literally 11 years ago. I'm like, okay, I just, I'm meditating, I'm speaking. I'm doing all these things that we talk about. The only thing I want to do is film videos that educate people and, and help them break free from some of the bondage or. Or open up their mind to. In a bigger way than they could ever imagine for themselves.
Right, right.
Put the wish out there. All of a sudden, five years into it, I've literally replaced myself every time at the business. So I'm now kind of out of the business. I'm not in the business, but I'm kind of out of the business.
It's an evolution.
It's an evolution.
Right.
I'm evolving. And to be in purpose, to be doing something that I love every day, feeling, contribution, it's, I believe, the whole icky guy thing, it gives you invisible help. So I believe the divine realm comes in your life when you wake up springboard out of bed. I can't wait to impact and help these people today. I'm actually looking forward to builds up this vibrational current around you to where sometimes things that would affect you in a negative way. You are untouchable, unshakable. When you're living in your. Your purpose.
Well, you are seeing. Yes. You're seeing purpose and everything. Right. It's the. The pain. The pain of obstacles when you don't see purpose through them. Right. If you see the purpose of that pain, then all of a sudden it's okay.
Yeah. The divine guidance comes in an invisible favor. I've noticed in my own life when I'm living in purpose.
I've noticed in your life.
Yeah. When I'm transforming, when I'm helping people change, when they're. When I'm helping them see and demonstrating that there's a whole nother level. It's like that invisible favor comes in. In every area of my life.
And it's the. And even in this stage, Drew, you're right. You and I have been talking about this more than typical, and it is recognizing the. This new chapter. Right. And in your experience in organifi and with organifi. And reconnecting with this important sense of purpose. And he's not reconnecting, but maybe expanding into this new chapter. I'll say. There we go.
Yes.
Because. Because it is not the attachment to how that comes to life, but simply that it does. Right. That it does.
It does in every moment.
And I'm experiencing it in this instance, in this present now. This present moment with you. I'm witnessing you do that. You are in your space.
Yes. And the sun's coming out.
It is.
We called the sun out. Always so good.
So icky guy. It is the ability to really tap into why you're here on this planet and connect it with your daily work. So if you take nothing else away from this podcast today, it is meditating on your purpose, your core values. As an assessment that we really love, we had the team do which helps identify their core values that can help.
Lead you down the path to your purpose.
It does.
But I want to say, stop trying to find your purpose.
Be your purpose.
Well, be your purpose, number one. Yeah. Yeah, of course. What is being your purpose look like, though?
Recognizing in it or recognizing it in the present moment? Perhaps it's not something to find.
Where do you find God?
Yeah. In the moment. In the present. Eternal.
Now. Now.
And you find yourself there. So when you find that version of you through giving, through helping other people, how can I impact and, you know, help the world? If you're going into a bookstore, what book aisle do you go down? Do you like to learn about how can you give it back? Is there a need for it in the world? Because at the intersection of all those questions lies what you need to do every day. But you're not going to do that sitting on your Ass watching Netflix. You actually have to take action. You actually have to go out in public, surrender to the current of your purpose that's pulling you from the future version of yourself. It's right there hook, line and sinker. You just grab onto it and then all of a sudden you're living in your purpose every day. And there's nothing that will bring your greater joy than that. But you gotta take action.
So powerful and the ability to as you stay connected and remind yourself of what that passion is, then all the any bumps along the way are not the catastrophe or roadblocks or.
Ending point that they would have been without it. Right. It all has purpose or meaning, let's say for another word choice.
Yeah. It's so good. So much juice to that.
It's like a big green junk.
Yeah.
You.
You had something else too you wanted to talk about. We got the purpose relating it. I'm glad we talked about how we do that. At Organifi. People outgrow positions.
Right.
Even when they first start at Organifi, we're not like, hey, you're going to be with in this position for the rest of your life. No, you're going to outgrow this from the very start. There's a good chance you're going to outgrow this position. We know that. But there's tons of opportunity to grow into something much larger. So keep me updated in regards to what you love, what brings you joy, and we'll start mining for possibility in the present reality.
Yeah. And it's this in the same way that individuals may outgrow a position or even the chapter that organifies that, we saw that in growing from the absolute zero to where we are today in these different seasons, that the business was in that certain team members were a wonderful fit for. And then other times where we had eclipsed the connection point, the fit. Right. And there's this kind of, this mentality of always having an alumni network because we, we know that time is malleable. Right. So speaking of seasons, what I'm really excited about and what I wanted to discuss is this idea that kind of this next chapter for Organifi is also looking at how we get to internally kind of recognize seasonality and then also.
Live more seasonality in the entire company. And that is this beautiful, more organic approach to what work is. It's looking at where are we having seasons such as winter, fall, summer, spring. Right. These different seasons in how we work. And I'm really, really interested to try this on, on a very small scale. And then look at expanding it within the teams, within even the approach we take with presenting adaptogens to customers and really recognizing that in this more approachable sense of seasonality, we also give ourselves the time to have different seasons, quite literally.
So good. Okay, I got a question.
Okay.
What's your favorite organifi product right now?
What? Do you notice the difference in your life when you drink it the most?
My favorite is our green juice right now. And that is. And what I'm mixing it with our harmony. So I do. It's like kind of this.
Wait a minute. So it's like a chocolate mint latte.
It is first thing in the morning. And I do that with my miso pre. Coffee.
Yeah. Give us your. Okay. So May turned me on to miso. And I, I literally, when I'm in my prime, in my morning ritual, I'm making miso soup every morning in your sweet spot. Yeah. Tell us about your ritual.
So this is something we started maybe a year ago. Stephen and I, my husband, and we love to have a beautiful bowl of miso. We try to do just this moment in the morning before we have our coffee. We'll do our balance, which is our prebiotic, probiotics, and have this really nice cup of miso. And it's a really nice way for me to also support more of my energetic body before having coffee, before introducing caffeine. So it helps reset the minerals and salt balance in my body. And it's a really nice, slightly slower start instead of first having coffee in the morning.
Yeah.
And so it's kind of a remineralizing experience.
I love that.
Yeah. Really a really nourishing ritual right now.
You put in adults, seaweed, some shiitake mushrooms or something in there as well.
And we'll do really like doing like a zuki or chickpea miso.
So it's not even organic, high quality.
We rotate. So we like to rotate them out, try different types. But yeah, it's a really nourishing morning ritual. And then as your question, right after that, we'll have our nice morning coffee, which is. So I use the word ritual because it's not a routine. It's something that is intentional and slow and enjoyed. And like, it's our. It's our avenue into flow state of like, enriching moments of presence. Right.
And you're bird watching.
Not always, but I wish that'd be idealistic as bird watching while having a cup of coffee after our miso on the rooftop in the morning. But it's these Little avenues into rich life experiences. So we're. We're. Stephen right now is literally roasting coffee on Sundays. So he roasts his own beans. And so we're normally discerning the coffee notes in that coffee. In that cup of coffee. A beautiful black cup of coffee.
Anyways, so. So any nootropics that you take with your coffee?
None literally. We're pretty. We're pretty basic right now.
Yeah.
I know you've got some good ones right now. You're enjoying, right?
Well, I like L theanine.
It's an amazing energy amplifier.
So I'll do a little Celtic sea salt on my hand, a little L theanine, and then gpc.
Which is good. GPC is.
Gosh. It is made to balance out the L tyrosine in your mind. Some of the aminos that can be kind of pulled away when we drink a lot of caffeine.
Probably a good neurotransmitter support.
Yeah. And it helps you. It helps the caffeine actually last a little bit longer. So I think it plays well with adenosine.
So my favorite organifi products right now are Green Juice and Harmony, which is our women's hormone balancing product.
Perfect.
And why I like that is because one of the core benefits of organifi green juice is the ashwagandha, which lowers cortisol levels. Also key hormone. My favorite subject in college was endocrinology, So I love the very. I wouldn't even call them complex. I would call them beautifully intelligent feedback loops that are hormones. And our endocrine system basically is made up of. And so in the morning, especially after coffee, what I love to do is my first thing. And I probably have it in my purse. Right here is just 50, 50 green juice and Harmony.
Okay. And I can do that as a man, too. Right.
So I would definitely say enjoy the green juice. Stephen, my husband, loves Glow right now. Seasonally, a little bit more sun exposure. And also the cardiovascular benefit that's in our. Our Glow product right now with the AMLA and then Green juice. So cortisol lowering. Yes.
So good.
You know, product teaser. We've got a men's product coming out.
Soon here, which I'm super stoked for.
Yeah. But the key benefits of Harmony are definitely designed for women. And it tastes like a hot chocolate. So if you want to try it, it's so good.
I like the taste of Harmony better than Chocolate Gold.
I do, too. I know it's a little bit more earthy. Right.
It's got the cacao, the Animides which are actually opening up your heart when you drink this stuff.
Your bliss response?
Blissed out. Sometimes I just, I'll have a weepathon by myself after drinking Harmony.
I doubt it. Anyways, I love those two. Mainly in balancing my cortisol levels and kind of my.
Current state of work. And this is a really nice routine for me that's very nourishing and supportive and intentional. So right now, those are my, my two favorite products consistently enjoying first thing in the morning. Actually, I won't say first thing, it's after me. So after coffee. But first, official non ritualistic.
Okay, so question. What are you most excited about at organifi right now? What does the future hold? Visionary. What are you most excited about? Organifi right now?
There's these, this oxymoron that I'm most excited about, Drew.
What do you mean?
Well, the duality. There is this really powerful self testing wearable technology, this kind of infusion of biotech with wellness that's happening. And it's of course, like I just last month tried a P strip that tells you what vitamins you need and what supplements to take.
Yeah.
You know, it's this collapsing of supportive self awareness through wearables. Right. And I love technology application to wellness and my background's in animal science and so this application to human nutrition is fascinating to me and there's so much opportunity to support humanity becoming intuitive again through the use of technology. So I'm really excited about what's to come in this space. It looks like some self testing, higher application of wearables, connection with, really looking at, with the things that I am ingesting and even the future of organifi with these products that I'm incorporating into my lifestyle, are they making the impact that I'm intending them to? And you know, we can get as rudimentary as saying, hey, on a daily basis, assess your level of satisfaction and like literally do this today. Right. Your little level of satisfaction with your sleep scale of one to five, five being impeccable, one being dismal. Right. Sleep, digestion, energy, mood, hunger and stress. Right. Those factors, it can be as simple as that. Or you can embark on a, you know, biometric wearable technology journey with companies like whoop, which I love the Oura ring. There's the.
Your levels for your blood sugar.
Right. All these great devices that help bring more context to the things that you're intuitive tuning into, let's say. So that era. I'm really excited about the future there and what's Next for organifi in this space, which is connecting our highly impactful specific dose ingredient products with the impacts perceived daily for individuals. Right? So really connecting that and guiding individualized plans for use of the products. Right. Like really, really sweet spot. Then on the other side, more on the connection with a almost like opposite spectrum is leaning heavy on nature and looking at this seasonal approach to including adaptogens into our lifestyles and looking at what adaptogens make the most sense on a seasonal basis. So in the summertime you're looking at, hey, as human beings we adapted to including more.
Berries, let's say, right? So in the summertime, when berries are in season, we actually had higher blood sugar tolerance because we were, you know, digesting more, let's say raspberries and blackberries at the end of the summer, right. And in Ayurvedic medicine is actually like five seasons. And so really looking at on this level, what we know today is like our flu season, our allergy season, are these kind of seasons that accompany with them ailments. What if instead we looked at them as the seasons in our annual lifestyle to best support our bodies with adaptogens? And that's what adaptogens really are for, right? They're simply to support balance, the balancing the natural homeostasis that our body is incredibly intelligently able to do. Right.
It's divine.
It's in. I mean, amazing. So this next chapter really allows us, I believe, to explore these two sides of the spectrum. On one hand, with nature really recognizing the body's innate intelligence and tuning our support with adaptogens and with finer solutions. And then on the technology side, really recognizing where and how we're seeing progress and impact with what we include in our lifestyles and with our nutrition and our, you know, entire exercise routine. And there's just two really key areas I'm excited to explore.
I love that. That's beautiful. The human body is divinely, innately intelligent. And when we give it what it needs, likened to these adaptogens, then it creates a state of homeostasis without having to have a purge, right? Which is what illness is. Or dis ease without having to go through that. So I'm deeply fascinated by that. I am too all on board. I like the grassroots approach too. I mean, I've been wearing trackables and wearables since the beginning of time. And eventually it's like, okay, why do I even need this data? My body already knows intuitively I know what my recovery is. Right. Doesn't take. I could literally guess it. At any point of the day.
Is that amazing?
Yeah, but. And it's helped me get there.
Yes. The ability to actually positively reaffirm what? You know.
Training wheels.
Training wheels. Yeah. You can take them off whenever you're ready.
Yeah.
It is, though, Recognizing that it's all the same. So when I represented that as a duality. Right. This polar opposite, this, you know, high tech, reconnecting with this other side nature, we realized that we actually don't need it. But we oftentimes, and I think it's especially today, need to remember that. And we love it. The support to remember it. That's all.
Yeah. If we understood truly how much technology is in every cell of our body, one cell could create a whole new. You like this. The technology to do that is beyond anything that we could right now during our time that we perceive as our time here on planet Earth. I mean, we've had better technology than we do today, I believe. Way better. Better like 20,000 years ago, we're talking right back when you and I were on Earth.
And now it's like, yeah, we've lost sight of that a little bit. A lot of that's been suppressed. So we're entering a new age, my friend. I'm excited about that.
I'm fascinated by it.
Re. Remembering, reconnecting. How divinely in tune we truly are. It's been fun having you here.
