Yo. All right, guys. Drew Canole. Welcome to the Drew and you show. I'm excited for today's short episode. We're talking about one of my favorite things, and that is how to turn your business, how to turn your vocation, your workation, whatever you want to call it, into a spiritual practice every single day. And when we do this, we feel more momentum, more motivation, more inspiration, more determination. All the things that we're looking for in this life, in this reality, in this eternal now moment. So how do we do it? How do we turn our business or what we do into a spiritual practice? Number one, it starts with you. Knowing that it starts with you is super relevant and important. So with that being said, one of the most important things in my life and business is to start my day every day, giving back to my self empowerment, my self knowledge. To know thyself is to be known. So every morning I wake up 4:30 in the morning. I'm up before the sun. I'm up before the emails. I'm up before the text messages. I'm up before the Instagram messages. I am up and I am studying, number one, something that I'm interested and fascinated by to expand my consciousness. I'm meditating. I'm sitting in silence. I'm watching my thoughts. I'm the perceiver, not the thinker. And I'm really honing in on the message of the day. Not a to do list, but more importantly, a to be list. So what's my to be list? How are my ways of being showing up with the people that I get to interact with? Maybe I'm in three meetings and a couple podcasts. Whatever it is, how am I being in those moments? And then I can reflect back on that at the end of the day, that to be list. And then I write out what there is to do. So being comes before doing a of course. So to make it your spiritual practice, in business, it's very much starting your day in your own morning ritual. How can you nourish your creativity? How can you nourish your intelligence? How can you nourish your physical body? So with that being said, I wake up. You've listened to my morning ritual. I got a couple great YouTube videos as well, breaking it down for you guys. You can check it out there. I don't want this episode to be all about my morning ritual. But when you're running your business like a spiritual practice for your life, it's very important to have a solid morning ritual. Maybe it involves morning pages, maybe it involves playing the guitar and a musical instrument to really express your creative freedom on the planet at this time. So that would be number one. Number two is recognizing that every single person that comes in your business, your family, whatever you want to call it, where you get to create sustenance for you and the people that you love and for your customers, your avatars, the people that buy your product. It's a soul's mission that there's, that there's a soul behind the person and there's a purpose behind the person. There's a greater evolution of being with every single person you come in contact with. And I feel like when I witness my people that I work with like that.
The people I love, it's like Pandora's box opens up with new potentials, new timelines. But if you're not looking at it like it's souls coming together again, you know, it's, it's, it's an interesting way to look at it. It's for the same purpose, for the same mission that's bigger than the business. There's something greater happening on the planet that, you know, you have this team that has come together, assembling together to actually help heal, to change, to inspire, to transform what it is that you're specifically solving in the world. And that will give you more energy and more enthusiasm than anything you could ever imagine. Monetarily speaking, people would rather be a part of a purpose that rather have praise than more money. Right? They'd rather feel that they're part of a family and community versus more money. And that's kind of the, the opposite. The way that a lot of businesses think and a lot of entrepreneurs think they're like, I'll just give them more money in this particular job and it'll solve everything. When deep inside there's a soul drowning or there's a soul waiting to be watered because they're not feeling like they're getting that soul level contribution. So whatever your business is, make sure that you're elevating that aspect of a human being too. And for Organifi, it's book club, it's toastmasters, it's coffee. You know, even though we're virtual now, it's coffee Coffee Times on Zoom. It's people getting to know other people. It's reaching out, understanding what their love languages are. It's understanding what makes them human in this experience and then contributing to that specific part of that individual. So that's a super powerful way to look at your business. What's our, what's the collective Soul of the company versus the biz. Just the business aspect, because business is business and it gets boring. So in my experience, it has to be something so much deeper. So that would be the second one. And then as far as turning your business into a spiritual practice, I would say.
That it's, you know, looking at movies like the Matrix, looking at movies like the Truman Show. When you really start to look at life like it's a game and it's not real, well, then the stress fades away, right? The ancient Mayan people said that it's an illusion, right? Jesus said it's an apparition in the Gospel of Thomas, which means it's an illusion, this reality. So when you're a leader in your organization and there's not a lot of heat or stress when the numbers are down or when a promotion doesn't work the way that you wanted it, then it creates freedom, it creates liberation in testing, in trying to figure it out. But if you're reactive and you're stressed out over situations and circumstances that didn't come to fruition the way that you thought it should, well, then it just adds more stress to the environment. And stress is one of the leading causes of burnout. You will burn your employees out. You will burn the people that you work with out. If you're a constant stress ball. And I'm talking to a lot of entrepreneurs out there because y' all are way too stressed out. So managing that stress, looking at it as if it's a game, and that's been super helpful for me. I remember losing. We launched a new YouTube company that was buying media for us on YouTube advertisements, and they messed up with the tracking or something like that. And the website was jacked, it redirected to something else. And it was a pretty big mistake at the time. It costed us around 150 grand in a weekend, so three days in ads that didn't convert to anything. And organifi is a small business, right? We're. We didn't. We don't have vc, venture cap, any of that kind of stuff. It's. We work for what we've created. And at the time, that was devastational. So were we stressed about it? Probably for a few minutes. But then we realized, hey, this is a game. We don't have to buy into the illusion that the world's presenting to us, and this money will come back in some way. And I think one of the biggest books that changed my life in regards to looking at your business this way was actually a spiritual book by Florence Shin called the Game of Life and how to win or how to play It. I highly encourage everybody read that book. Super powerful. It's reframing, becoming a reframed ninja in any moment of stress, in any moment, hostility, and then declaring what you want right away. It's so uncommon to have this type of response in today's world, but it makes all the difference in your business. So that's super powerful. Next up would be getting behind organizations and having partnerships with other people that have a deeper soul's mission for what you're creating in this world, too. So for us, there's a lot of nutritional deficiencies in the world. So when we partnered up with Vitamin Angels and we started giving vitamin A to third world countries where they didn't have enough vitamin A and they would lose their eyesight.
It created more motivation to play even bigger. Like, we're not just giving red juice to the world that can help heal people's bodies and everything else that it does with mitochondria and all the things, but we're actually donating a portion of that to a different organization altogether that's helping these young kids with eyesight. And then more and more stories were collected upon that. We've helped thousands of children all over the world in regards to this, and that's something that can dramatically shift and change your business as well. Hey, my friend, real quick, I wanted to tell you about one of my favorite products. It's from Soul CBD. Before I go to bed, I take 1,000 milligrams of CBD. It's become a daily supplement because when I do take it, it increases my deep sleep. I noticed a huge difference in my efficiency, my mental clarity in the morning when I do this. I've tried a lot of CBD products, and some of them, you wake up, you're a little bit foggy in the head with this. It's THC free. It's third party tested. It has all the rigorous testing and everything that we need to know that. It's personally one of my favorite products. And I'm good friends with the owners of this company called Soul cbd. And here's the really cool part. When you order now, you get 15% off automatically. And all you got to do is type in mysoulcbd.com drew and you're going to get 15% off and try it out.
