All right, so this is going to be a fun episode, you guys. I have two of my best friends, soul family, who I've literally known for hundreds of thousands of years, who they've started this or this company. Has it been three years? I think it's like the three year anniversary that just recently happened, right?
Yeah, three years.
Three years celebrating the baby Soul cbd. Right. The importance of cannabinoids has, like, exploded over the past three years. Three years. You guys were at the forefront of all of it.
Right.
You were the first ones to, like, start researching this in a big way and rolling out Soul CBD to the world.
And it's kind of been. It's incredible. In my own life, it's changed how I sleep, how I process information, how my body handles stress. I've noticed amazing results, and I've gotten dozens of comments from people on Instagram already that are using Soul cbd. So excited to get into the whole story and just hear from front to back how you started and what's happened throughout the whole entire process. You guys ready to rock and roll?
Yeah, absolutely. Angie and I have been doing a bunch of kind of back and forth, so we're kind of. We're decent with the cadence, but, you know, I. Hello, my name is Mike Lee. I am Angie's older brother. And we started the company, as Drew said. Yeah. About three years ago, you know, just as a little side hustle. And what we want to do was, was help people. And it grew to something incredible. And I think very similar to your story, Drew, of where, you know, the mission was to help people. And, you know, little did we know how big it would grow and, and how, you know, much amazing feedback we'd get. But I had a 10 year career as a professional athlete, which always caused pain and anxiety and, you know, all the things of competing at that level. And so finding and discovering CBD was massive for me. And Angie being an entrepreneur and speaking in front of so many people, she also had anxiety issues and a lot of things she needed to tackle. And so discovering CBD and natural ways to cure that was huge for us.
I love that, brother. Angie, you disappeared. Your video is gone. But I'd love to hear from you too. The beginning phases of soul, I know it started as a side hustle, but you guys, what was the original talk like when you guys first decided to launch Soul CBD into the stratosphere?
Yeah, you know, I was using it, like Mike said, for anxiety and stress, and Mike was using it for pain as an athlete and Initially, I don't feel like our vision was to make it this massive business. We just thought, why not? Let's try and let's see where it goes. And so we had a very ready as a lie mindset in the aspect that we thought it can't hurt.
And so that was kind of our.
Mentality in the beginning, but now it's, you know, grown into something really big. So I don't know. Mike, what would you say was the initial, like, intention?
Yeah, well, I mean, so as I mentioned, I was an athlete for years and years, but I also got diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. And at one point I was on eight different medications and I started having panic attacks like later in my career because I was in all this pain and I was on these different medications that were giving me side effects. And in fact they had me on antidepressants like Lexapro and anti anxiety medications. And I just didn't like the way I felt. So I read an article in 2016, I think, about CBD, and it was later that year I started giving it a try. So it was really like a good full year of me trying it out and falling in love with it. And I just remember calling you up, Ange, and kind of saying, like, this stuff's incredible. It's helped me with anxiety. And I completely got off my anxiety meds and slowly started tapering off. And then it started helping me with pain at higher dosages. And so I think, Ang, you just wanted to hear more and more. And so I ended up sending you some. And as luck would have it, one of my best friends in the world worked for one of the best manufacturers at the time of hemp and different CBD products. So it just started as consumers and us loving it, and then one day, us just kind of sitting down, I think we were at like a juice bar in la, just like chopping it up and I was talking about it and we were like, why don't we buy some product and share the message? Like, we know so many people that deal with anxiety and sleep issues and pain. And so that's kind of how it started. And we made that first order, we threw up a website pretty half assed and then just kind of went for it. We were labeling like in her spare bedroom. We had no idea what we were doing, to be honest. And. And sometimes we still don't, but here we are.
Okay, so pop quiz for you guys. There's one sole CBD product I've used, like, literally every day for the past Three years. As much as I can. I use this when I have it in stock. Cause sometimes it's hard to get. Do you know what it is?
Bath bombs. Yes.
Yeah. And the winner is. Mike Lee. Bath bombs. I literally take a bath every single day, and I use a soul CBD bath bomb. They're the best.
Oh, my gosh. I love that you love your baths. Baths are great. Baths are super healing.
Well, it cleans your magnetic field, and we're magnetic beings, as you know. And another thing I've been doing lately is 1000mg of soul CBD before I go to bed. And let me tell you, I'm getting an extra hour of deep sleep every single night. So you guys listen to this on the Drew and you show, of course. And you know how important sleep is for you. Sleep is the master creator of all your hormones in your body. You're healing. So maybe at the beginning of your journey. Mike, what were the three things that you noticed from taking CBD that made you. From somebody who had just started using it into somebody that wanted to launch this company out into the world to help millions of people?
Yeah, I mean, it was really anxiety and then help with sleep, and then it helped with pain. But I think that anxiety was massive. And what I learned as I dove into this world was that so many of my issues were coming from my head and my mindset and working its way down. And what I mean by that is when I had anxiety and fear and stress, it was only exacerbating my other symptoms. My other symptoms of, you know, inflammation and not being able to sleep. And so that is kind of what's interesting is, you know, cbd, what it does is it activates your endocannabinoid system, specifically CB1 and CB2 receptors. And when it does that, it puts your nervous system into homeostasis. So little did I know before doing a ton of the research, that's what was happening, is that finally my nervous system was in homeostasis, and I got to go from that sympathetic to parasympathetic. And especially as an athlete, that's massively important that you can get out of fight or flight and into parasympathetic where you can rest, digest, heal. And so I just wasn't healing. I was beating my body up, and I wasn't healing. And so from the top down, you know, the anxiety and then eventually the sleep just started to help me heal on a massive level.
Yeah. Do you think you occurred any, like, PTSD from boxing? I mean, you're getting hit in the face by professionally trained, you know, athletes. So you would think there'd be some post trauma and CBD helped you deal with some of that as well.
Yeah, I definitely think there is. You know, I do things like I bought a hyperbaric chamber, which, Drew, I know you're all about. You know, I've had one of those for years to help with brain injuries. There's definitely some PTSD with boxing. I think, if anything, just trying to, you know, since I retired, learning the transition. I mean, a lot of people deal with this as they transition into different things, but sports and boxing was my entire identity. It's how I received love. It's how I felt like I was enough. And so since I retired about two years ago, it's still a challenge, man. It's still difficult to detach myself from that identity and realize that, like, I can get excitement and passion and purpose without damaging my body. And so, yeah, I mean, that's huge. Yeah.
And I know your story, brother.
You know, and I can relate to that. You know, my dad. My dad never told me he was proud of me till I was, like, 35 years old. So there was all kinds of stuff I was doing to. To prove to my old man how, you know, tough I was. Do you feel like you dealt with any of that when you were boxing? You know, maybe it was the dad thing. You want to talk about that?
You know, it's interesting. When I first. I first was brought to a boxing. Yeah, this is turned into a therapy.
We're going deep on the Drew show.
You gotta go deep on the Drew news show because people relate to this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, and it's tough sometimes, especially as men, to kind of open up about it, but, you know, I first. I first put on boxing gloves at 8 years old. I mean, I didn't want to fight. I just wanted to compete. But what I wanted to do was make my dad proud. And, you know, how I received love was winning. And so I started winning in the amateurs, and I started winning in the pros. And not that he didn't love me outside of boxing, but that's how I received love. And so unknowingly, subconsciously, I think that I always saw. I saw love as conditional, and I saw love as you need to keep winning, keep performing. Yet my body was breaking down in my heart, I didn't want to do it anymore. And I. Dude, I remember my last fight. World title, MGM Grand. I remember coming out of the limo as you get into the arena, and there's cameras in your face. And I get chills as I think about it before that. This was my 22nd fight, right? So I'd been a pretty seasoned veteran at this point. I'd never been scared of getting hurt before this fight. I'd never worried about it. I always thought I'd rather win and get carried out in a stretcher than lose and quit early. But I had this weird thought that came over me as I was walking the tunnel, and I thought it hit me like a ton of bricks. And that thought was, am I going home tonight, back to the hotel room, or am I going to a hospital tonight? And I'll never forget when that struck me before the fight. I'd never felt that it had nothing to do with the opponent or the moment. I'd fought in big stages, but it was like God of the universe kind of telling me, like, you're done, win or lose, like you need to be done and this isn't worth it. And I'll never forget that moment. I think it saved my life and my career because I decided after that fight, like, I'm. I'm done. Because I never want to get in a position like that where, you know, I think, like, I might die tonight. And is this worth it?
Wow.
I feel for you, brother. I feel like I just watched a whole movie, you know, seeing little 8 year old Mike and his, you know, purity of being this boy, this child, like, laced these gloves up and like, forced out to become a warrior, to become a man faster than what normal boys are. And dude, thank you for sharing that, first of all. Like, thank you for opening up and being vulnerable and then painting the picture. I think I was at your last fight with. Was it Caleb plus Plant? Is that the guy's name?
Yeah, yeah.
Massive boxer, you guys.
Yeah. And I could feel it in you. I could feel that that was your last fight. You and I had had some discussions before that and stuff, so I'm glad that you've moved your attention in a way to impacting people with health, botanicals and the greatness of Mother Nature and what she has to offer because there's so much value in that, man. You're providing such a great service. And Angie, you use Soul CBD in a completely different way. And you've done remarkable things online, empowering women from all over the world. And what I like about Angie's stuff is it's actually hilarious. Like, your reels as of lately too, like, you're just cracking me up.
You know, I really just want to, you know, get my Netflix special. One day it's happening. I might be 100 when it happens, but it's happening.
No, it's gonna happen sooner than later for sure.
I'll be 99 years old there.
Yeah.
But yeah, I use Soul, you know, a little bit differently. I've used it not as much for pain management physically, but I've used it more for gosh, anxiety. I love the bath bombs as well for relaxing period cramps. Women love our period line now and I've been using our alert caps for ADD for focus. I think that's something that a lot of entrepreneurs or multi. Passionate, passionate people struggle with is. Is getting things done and so. And then staying focused. So I'm loving our nootropics right now. So I use it a little differently than Mike, but I definitely have been using it a ton at night as well. For me, I noticed such a difference before bed if I have it. So it's been a game changer in that aspect.
Yeah. I've never noticed the focus aspect until recently. And I always saw you, especially in California, in Mount Helix, the Castle, you were using Soul CBD in the morning. And I'm like, wait, what a minute, wait a minute, what is she doing? And as of lately, I've been taking this nootropic stack and one of the things I take with it is soul. And it's amazing because in the research that I did and Mike, you could talk more about this than I can, but that endocannabinoid system actually works really well with our cortisol or the glucagoid system as well. Like the stress hormone in the body, it actually lowers stress like in 2 Ashwagandha that we have in green juice. So when we're lowering our stress, our body has a much more ability to send blood flow to the prefrontal cortex of the mind, which is one of the reasons why it's such a good nootropic. And to mix because the fat soluble vitamins and the stuff that's actually in there with let's say a morning cup of coffee, any type of nootropic that you're going to add to it as well works really well with Soul and it helps the actual nootropic last longer. What I found is the caffeine actually stays in my system a little bit longer when I need it, when I take Soul CBD with it.
Wow. Yeah. I mix the peppermint with chocolate gold organifi. Chocolate gold and it's like the best duo ever it's the best cacao. Oh, so good.
Yeah. That's next level because you get the animandides. I said I butchered that name. But that's what's in the cacao.
Right.
And that's what opens the heart. So a lot of people, before they do any plant ceremony, they'll drink cacao because it opens up the heart. And then when you take the cbd, which increases the neocortex and the blood flow to the colapus. I'm butchering words today. I need some soul CBD right now. But you get my point. It just, it's pretty cool.
So.
And I've gotten messages from people that have used it like into that as well. And it's been awesome.
We've been using it a lot for breath work too. I've been using CBD in conjunction with breathwork and it's been incredible. Just for my central nervous system and my stress levels. And I know Mike does that a lot too. Is that combination of taking it before you do a breathwork session so good?
Yeah. And I think for, you know, millions of people have autoimmune issues and are chronically ill and it just doesn't make sense considering the advances of, you know, western medicine, quote unquote for the past 100 years. But I really believe that a lot of my autoimmune issues did stem and do stem from stress and anxiety. And that's why I keep talking about that like top down healing is that people need to understand that your body can't heal when you're in that fight or flight constantly. Like we weren't designed for that. We were designed to have that in very acute moments. Right. Everyone talks about this to run away from that lion when we need to. But if that's coursing through your veins, that cortisol and is way too high all day really becomes an issue. And so I, I know firsthand that's, that's been my experience. And why something like cbd, Ashwagandha, any of these other nootropics or adaptogens are so massive just to kind of like get the ball rolling. Like it's never the end all be all right. It's never like one piece of the puzzle. There's many pieces of the puzzle. But CBD and some of those active ingredients are massively huge. Just to give you some momentum to get better.
Yeah. And aren't you adding CBN and some of these other things in your new stuff? Tell us a little bit about that because I'm excited about the future you guys have. I mean, you casted this huge vision for what you're creating in the world. I'd love to hear more about that.
That's a great point. When we started this, we really were learning, and CBD is kind of all we knew. And now we're learning so much more about, I mean, some of the ingredients that you guys have in your products and also other cannabinoids. And so one that we're really excited about and one that's seeing a ton of promise, not only with us, but with other studies and people is Cannabinol, known as cbn. In layman's terms, it's basically cbd, sleepy cousin. And it's a great cannabinoid that induces sleep.
So, yeah, I mean, we're starting to come out with gummies now. We have a sleep gummy that just came out with that has cbd, cbn, melatonin, L theanine. So people are getting, like, incredibly good sleep with it. So it's really cool to start to be mad scientists and with our doctors and kind of play around the different cannabinoids in the plant.
Angie, how are you sleeping with this new CBN mix that you have? The gummies? Have you tried them?
Yeah, I really like them. I have to cut it in.
She's a sleep snob like me, you guys. She's got the ooler. She has to be in a dark room. Mike, you're the same way, aren't you? You pretty similar to that.
Not, but not quite like you guys. You guys are on another level.
Like, next level sleep snobs.
I'm like, listen, pitch black room, blackout shades, chili pad, like, 64 degrees.
It's got to be, like, perfect conditions. CBD, no electronics.
Like, it's a ritual, you know, there's like, 17 steps that need to happen for optimal sleep. So I've been doing the gummies, but I'll only do half. I cut it in half, actually, which is nice about the gummies, that you can easily just break it apart or cut in half. So I'll do half of that. And I've noticed it really, really helps. I think my body is responding really well to cbn, but my body's sensitive to it. So if I do too much, then I'm getting, like, some crazy dreams, you know, I'm, like, doing crazy shit. Elusive dreaming, you know, I'm traveling drew.
Just, like, showing up to high school.
Naked, and you're like, wake up.
And you're like, am I in school?
You know what I mean? Am I in the hallway at 8 years old again and I forgot to wear my pants? You know, that kind of like those kind of dreams? Yeah.
You were in high school at 8 years old?
No, not high school.
But weren't you held back?
I was a very smart child.
But it's interesting. If I have too much, I'm having very intense, vivid dreams. So I almost like the amount that's just enough, but not too much. So I feel like with cbd, it's finding that Goldilocks amount that we always say that's ideal for you. And the only way to know that is to test and to try. It's different for everybody's body.
Yeah. That is the wild thing about cbd and I guess a lot of other, you know, ingredients like that is that everybody's unique, right? So we can't really give, like, hey, take 10 milligrams, and you will feel this. You need to find your dosage. It also needs to work consistently over time. Like, it helps when you're doing consecutive days. We think it has a lot to do with fat absorption and fat consumption, which is why a lot of the carriers in CBD or MCT oil, for instance, like ones that we use. But for me, like, I put so much stuff in my body over the years that, like, I need a lot to get to get the right results. And for Angie, she's super sensitive and needs a lot less. So it's just kind of finding, like Angie said, perfectly the Goldilocks, like, finding the perfect fit for you.
I love that. You guys should test using carbon 60, which is ozone olive oil, like, really rare extracted, like, olive oil with a couple other nootropics in it, L theanine, and add a little bit of the CBD with that, I think you'd have pretty cool results, especially with, like, the Alzheimer's or people that are starting to experience, like, preliminary symptoms of dementia. I think that could be pretty powerful. Yeah, I'm glad you shared cbn. I think that's super powerful. One of the questions that I had come in because I screened the audience and I said, hey, what questions do you got about cbd? And all the things I like? And one of them was, people have tried it. There was a few people that said this. They've tried it, but they wake up groggy. So maybe that is part of the Goldilocks thing or, like, the perfect mix. Do you guys have any recommendations for that?
Yeah. Well, I'll say firsthand. I think it's important to know that if you're taking full spectrum cbd, There's THC in there. So if you're taking too much of that. So for instance, all of our products are either isolate or broad spectrum. We only have non psychoactive cannabinoids. So what does that mean? We don't have THC in any of our products, and we're not demonizing thc. I think it has its place, and people love it. But I feel groggy with thc. So that is one thing to kind of think about is for that, you know, listener, is that, are they consuming something that's full spectrum and that'll have a little bit THC in it? But I don't know, Ang, with just cbd, have you experienced grogginess, taking too much?
No, you know. You know, I've never experienced that, but there has been a few people who have said that's happened, but usually it's because they'll admit later, oh, yeah, it was. It was a THC CBD blend. And I'm like, well, it's such a different experience. So I was gonna say the exact same thing. I think they're possibly doing full spectrum.
Sure.
Interesting. Yeah.
I've noticed personally, it's helped me a lot with pain relief. So after I go to the gym and I lift like a gorilla for an hour and a half and I take cbd, it actually helps relax my body. Have you experienced that too, Mike? Like, after an intense workout, like, just do a little bit more. Especially your cream. I think the cream is, like, the big thing. So even before I go in the gym, now I'm the weird guy that's, like, in the freaking locker room putting on the soul cbd, like, pain reliever ointment. First of all, smells amazing, right? And then second to that, I'm a firm believer in, like, feeling where your body, like, where you want to work out. Like back in the day when you'd watch Pumping Iron with Arnold or whatever, you said to visualize it. I think this is an active way of visualizing even more, is to have this ointment on your body and then go work out the muscle group where it's actually at, because the peppermint, whatever else is in there. Give it that nice. It's not like a stinging, but you know what I'm saying? A warming sensation.
Yeah, that's exactly. Yeah, that's exactly how we designed it. So I love hearing that. You know, we put a good amount of menthol and camphor and some really good ingredients in there with the CBD to Kind of activate that heating and. Yeah, I mean, the skin is the largest organ in the human body. Right. So topical is really good way to absorb CBD as well. It gets into the bloodstream fast. And, you know, compound that with a couple of the other ingredients that we have in the topical cream and it's, it's a no brainer. I've got a handful of buddies that are playing the NFL right now that are using this stuff every single day for practice and on Sundays. And just people of all walks of life love using it. But it definitely has that strong kind of menthol scent, which, which I love, but, you know, it just depends on your preference. So.
Mike and I have both had massive migraines, you guys, in our life. And one of the things that cream has actually helped me with is eradicating a lot of the headaches that I get in the back of the head from the tension, from the teeth grinding, from the clenching at night, from probably ptsd. Like you, you and I have both had our fair share of trauma in this life experience. So using that cream in the back of my head as well for migraines has been successful. Putting it on my temples a little bit, that's been super powerful too. Any other headache? Headache tips? Because I know you've, you've had some gnarly headaches. I mean, you've had to go to hospital before because of headaches.
Yeah. And I mean, there's a lot of different tricks. I think all the things you just said is huge. I'll definitely take some cbd, just kind of calm me down. But I bought this thing on Amazon. It's like an ice pack. It was probably like 15 bucks. And it's like a hat, but it's made with like ice, little chambers in there you throw in the freezer. So cooling your head is massive for me. And then actually I kind of just discovered this later on. I increase my magnesium and correct me if I'm wrong, that should open up the blood vessels. It kind of gets more blood flow in there. So the magnesium, the cooling of the head, and then also I put a heat pack on my feet. And there's some research and studies to indicate that doing that contrast therapy of having heat on the feet and cold on the head helps. And I don't know if it's placebo or not, but that combo right there really works. In fact, I had a bad migraine last week, put me out for hours. And that combination got me back a lot quicker than I normally would.
And you have. You don't deal as much with migraines as Mike and I do, but because I know you so well, like, we're like family. You deal a lot with, you know.
Sure.
There's a certain kind of month, you know, time during the month that all women have, and you've spoken very eloquently in regards to this. Tell us about your period. Tell us about what you do during that time to, like, help mitigate some of the stuff that many women deal with.
I don't know if I do it eloquently, but.
I mean, I throw in some poop jokes. If that's eloquent, then I'll take it. I'm here for the poop joke. I like that. Eloquently.
Yeah.
It's interesting.
You know, I have not experienced headaches and migraines, knock on wood. Which has been really interesting, because I've. You know, I love someone who has experienced it, and I've been with Mike in hospital beds, and I've seen that pain, and I just. I can't imagine what that must be like. It sounds so debilitating. The closest I've experienced to that is, yeah, painful cramps to the point where I'm blacking out and puking in the bathroom. It's a really, really sucky experience.
I want to be dead for, like, 45 minutes.
I mean, it's not fun. And honestly, I've heard it's similar to contraction. So I think if this is what childbirth will be like.
I don't know.
How I'm gonna do.
But anyways, it's interesting because a lot of it's mental, but at that point, it's also hormones and physical. And so I've had to really attack it from a holistic standpoint from hormones, stress, hydration, just everything you kind of have to look at your entire life. And so a large part of it is stress. That's a huge part of what can cause the immense pain, but it's the stress and that you had in your life months prior. So what a lot of women are realizing is my stress of, you know, the pain of this menstrual cycle isn't from today. It's from, what was I doing a few months ago? What was my emotional state, what was I eating, how was I sleeping? All of those things. So CBD is what really helps with that. It's bringing down your stress in your body. So we just came out with something called Harmony, which will be really great because it's a gummy for period cramps, specifically, and pms. But what I've noticed is heat is huge. So Mike actually has really helped me with this as well. Just reminding me that heat is your best friend. Sometimes when you're in pain like that. So going into a steaming hot bath.
Like as hot as possible with like four bath bombs, not just one of them, you take four of them and.
That really helps initially just to kind of get the blood flowing and just to get out of that initial really sharp pain. So yeah, I love the bath bombs. Tinctures. I'll just start downing the 1500 milligrams. I'll take a few gummies and then also the pain cream. Women can use it topically on their abdomen when they're in pain. So if you just right away when the cramps are coming, you just attack.
It with all of those things, then you should be good or at least.
Bring it down a significant amount.
Yeah, I love the vasodilation where you increase the circulation using hot water, hot compresses, all that kind of stuff. Red light therapy as well. I think that works really, really good.
Yeah. And I think it's a lot of women have that. So I'm glad that you touched base on in regards to that as well.
I mean most women do, you know, and it depends the severity. And it's interesting because it's something that is so fascinating because for some people it is more physical and health based and then some people it's more emotional, you know, how you handle pain or I mean, gosh, this is, this is the Drew show so we can get woo. But there's some people who believe it's, it's lineage, it's maternal lineage. It's, it's, it could be trauma in the sacral area. I mean people have told me to like, you know, stick yonis up there and like steam and you know there's.
Like, you could go down so many different routes.
Yoni steaming.
Yoni steaming.
I haven't really gone down any of those routes yet. I more just, you know, just lay on the bathroom floor and just pray.
But it's, it's interesting because there's so many different aspects to, to it. But similar to headaches, you know, at the end of the day pain is so interesting in the physical body because a lot of times we're realizing it's all starting from emotions and I'm so fascinated by that. Right. I mean this is very Joe Dispenza. But it's like is it really a headache or is it trauma From when you're 8, you were 8 years old. So it's just interesting to have these conversations around pain and really dissect where is it actually coming from, which then turned into a physical ailment. So that's always what I'm kind of exploring.
And what I'm hearing that you would love to study is what's called yoga nidra.
Really?
Are you familiar with it?
No.
What is that?
It's an ancient yogic practice of scanning your body. And then you ask, your body is the perceiver, not the thinker. So you're not the mind.
Right.
You're outside of your mind, Asking the mind, hey, why do I have this pain in my body? Then you wait. So you wait for the image of what it is, or, like, past, present, future, what comes up for you, and then you allow it just to be. You tell it that it's okay. You visualize that it's softening. You visualize the muscles around it. I did this practice with one of my teachers long ago, where she literally had me. I was experiencing gout. Are you guys familiar with gout?
No.
It's where you get these uric crystals around your big toe. And they say it's more painful for men than childbirth for women. Like, it was terrible. I couldn't even walk. It's like stepping on shards of glass because the uric acid forms crystals in your toe joint. So every step you take, it's like you're getting cut with glass inside your foot. Anyway, long story short, she had me print up my entire foot and around it, and then I would start visualizing and looking at my foot every day, putting prana chi, whatever we want to call it, into it, seeing it as healed. And by doing this yoga nidra exercise infused with the visualization of what it looks like, I was able to get rid of it for good. I haven't had it since. So I think there's something profound to the woo as we're bringing up, because it's the Drew and you or Drew and Wu show, whatever we want to call it, that can actually bring massive healing. They've done this in China. Greg Braden talks about this good buddy where they had five practitioners standing around somebody with a tumor, and they hooked a camera up to the tumor in real time, and they saw it healed already. And the video shows the tumor actually shrinking and leaving like, they didn't even need any medicine for it. So I believe we're beyond powerful when it comes to that, and that's why I love these natural modalities, like in the soul, cbd. The cream, the gummies. We talked about. We talked about the tincture, the thousand. The 1500 mil. When somebody first starts and they move forward with the journey of using your products, what would you recommend somebody to begin with today?
Yeah. Ooh. I feel like a great starter is the gummies. Unless you're somebody who's super holistic and you don't even want one gram of sugar. They're very, very low sugar, and it's natural and organic. But if you're somebody who wants to go the most holistic, natural route, I would start with our tinctures. They're extremely potent. It's the most efficacious way to get cbd. And I would start with tinctures, adding that to drinks, adding it just orally throughout the day, and then adding in, maybe playing with the alert caps in the morning, dream caps at night, then kind of playing around with our more specialty, niche items. But I think. I mean, let me know what you think, Mike. I think just starting with good old tinctures is such a great way to introduce your body to it. But we've noticed most people want to start with gummies because they're fun and they're delicious, and it helps people, and they're addictive. Yeah.
Careful, guys. They're addictive.
Like, you be very careful.
Sometimes I can't eat just one. I end up eating, like, a half a bottle of gummies.
Yeah. Just passing out.
Is that how you're so chill, Drew? You have half a half a bottle.
Of gummies a day.
If I want to meditate for, like, six hours straight, I will literally eat a half a bottle of gummies for six hours.
That is a. That is a long meditation, but just become quantum.
That's a short.
It's true.
We're just spiritual beings. You know, we're not physical beings.
So, honestly, if that's what you were called to is half. Half the bottle, I think go for it.
Yeah.
It's crazy. We are the cannabinoid pathway. There's so many benefits outside of just the physical that we have begun. Haven't even begun to understand. Like, it's super powerful. I think mystics and sages of the past would be able to explain it much better than I could. But I do see a lot of sacred geometry, even in the plant, paralleling with some of the toroidal fields that we create as humans or some of the sacred geometry that we leave in the magnetic field. So that would be an interesting thing to study.
Yeah. And you're talking about a plant that's been around for thousands of years, which is pretty. Pretty incredible and very powerful. Yeah.
Well, it's interesting. A lot of people are initially a little timid to take CBD because of just the stigma that I think is finally really shifting. The narrative is shifting, thank goodness. But if you're afraid, in a sense, and you're listening to this, I would start with gummies then. And to really build up that confidence to realize that it's okay and it's safe and there's no toxicity level. But I think people are afraid that there's going to be THC in there. But we're 0thC, so you will not get high from our products. I think that is the initial fear for a lot of people. But once you realize that this plant has so many different elements to it, not just thc.
You don't have to ever do it with THC if you don't want to. So that's really the narrative we're trying to shift, is making people feel comfortable and safe with it and realizing it is safe and it's healing and it's great.
Well, I love having you guys be a part of the Drew and you'd show. I know people have listened to the past shows and they see that, you know, you're one of my sponsors, which I take very personally. I mean, I have zero sponsors. You're my first sponsor for the Drew, and you'd show outside of Organifi, which doesn't really count, right? Maybe.
How'd you get them? How'd you sign with them?
Yeah, how'd you lock that up?
Highest quality, pure. You know, and the people, like, I have to get along with the people in all areas of my life. I know you guys have a lot of integrity. I know you're honorable human beings, and I know you wouldn't give anything to the world that you wouldn't give to your family, your own people. And there's a lot of that happening in the world today, where these big corporations are just trying to get rich quick and they're shelling out poison.
Right?
So it's important that we stand together, united as these small mom and pop companies, basically small businesses supporting the people with healthy botanicals and mother Nature, like, she already knows. So I'm honored to be doing business with you guys. I would love for every single person on this to try it for 30 days. What do you have to lose? You know, you have a full money back guarantee if you don't like it for whatever reason. And there will be a handful of People that CBD just doesn't work for. Maybe you're one of those people. Right. But it's important to test. It's important to be open enough to figure out what works for you. And I've done that in my life. And I can't tell you the health advances that I've made in my own biology.
By living that way. So thanks for coming on today, you guys. Is there anything that you want to say to maybe somebody who's on the fence that's listening to this with their health? They want to take it to the next level. What do you got? Or just a message you want to share with the world, period, right now?
Yeah. Well, you made me think of some people try it and right away they feel something or they notice that they had improved so sleep, or they notice that their anxiety was better that week or that month. And then some people, it takes a few months to build up in their system. But just keep in mind that regardless if you feel it right away or not, it's still great for inflammation. It's very anti inflammatory. So that's what I keep in mind is I'm just going to take it every day anyway just to support anti inflammation being anti inflammatory. So I think that that's great to keep in mind. And we have a pet line too, if you guys have little furry friends. I know Drew loves his furry friends.
So if you guys have crazy pups, we have something for you too.
I'm so jealous. I wanted organifi to have a pet line and you guys wait, you should.
Come out with one.
Why not?
Dog food line.
I know, I will.
Doganofy.
Dogganofy. No, seriously, you should come out with one where it has like spirulina spurlina.
In it, you know?
Yeah. A lot of people. Dogs need their greens.
Dogs need it.
Yeah.
Pet line, sleep line. Honestly, we're at the point now where we have pretty much any pain point, you name it. And we have something for you for energy too.
The nootropic I love.
Yeah.
So, Mikey, what do you. What do you have, man? What do you want?
Yeah, give us a motivational quote, Mikey.
We're looking for it. This is the. The story real. This is the real right here, Mike.
All right, well, I mean, Drew. Yeah. We. We are also honored to be on your show. We've obviously been friends slash family a long time. Love them.
100,000 years.
For millions and trillions of years.
1.4 million to be exact.
1.4 million, right. I always forget it's been so long.
But, yeah, I mean, you articulated it perfectly in terms of, like, what do you have to lose? I mean, there's so many things that I discovered that worked and didn't work along my journey of trying to get healthy. And you just got to turn over rocks, man. Like, you've. You've got to keep that hope and keep trying, because when you're on that extra medication or you've tried something, it doesn't work. Like, you just have to have hope that it'll get better, and you're never going to know until you keep going. And so that's one thing that was really a struggle for me early on of kind of learning that. And, I mean, the one thing I learned through that painful journey is that pain is a gift. And I talk about this all the time with Angie. But pain has led me to some of the most beautiful moments of my life. And so including creating this company and helping thousands of people every single month. So, you know, looking at pain as a way to turn that into a gift and an opportunity has literally saved my life. And I think that it's how we should look at pain, because, you know, suffering without meaning, you know, is a lot more difficult to go through, but when you have meaning behind it, and I'm quoting Viktor Frankl here, so I won't. I won't claim that, but when you have meaning behind it, you know, suffering has a purpose. And so that's what I encourage people to look into and look for.
Yeah, there it is.
Thanks, you guys, for coming on. And. Yeah, well, the good news is, too, when you move forward today, you can get 20% off by using the code drew@my soulcbd.com Drew. I'll leave that in the show notes as well, and keep me engaged in the journey. Like Angie, Mike and I love testimonials of people's progress. I get images all the time of people wearing their apple or their whoop, showing me that their deep sleep went up 45 minutes to an hour, which is huge for a lot of people. So feel free to send those in as well. And thanks for listening to today's show. Thanks for coming on. Thanks for being a sponsor, you guys. Thanks for being in my life. This has been fun.
Aw, this was fun. We'll have to do a live one, too.
We'll do it. We'll do it live, part two.
Let's make some reels, Ange.
Let's get weird.
And, Mike, you're so close to me. I'm gonna come up and we're gonna box in la. Let's do it.
Let's do it.
I got a bag here. We gotta go surfing too.
Yeah. Yeah. We'll be down in San Diego in a few weeks for Sam's Breathfest, so we'll link up.
Oh, you gotta go, Drew.
You gotta go to Breathfest.
Breathfest.
Okay.
Yeah. She's doing a breathwork ceremony in San Diego, so we'll make it happen.
I love it. Yeah. Come on out. Let's go.
