This is Josh. Trent. Baby, we've known each other now for what feels like thousands of years, but you're definitely a soul brother in this life experience. Wellness force. I think we first connected maybe even 10 years ago. Has it been that long?
It might have been. When did you start Organifi?
Well, organifi was started six years ago. Well, we just celebrated our seven year anniversary.
You know what? You know when I first met you, Downtown San Diego.
Right by the brick building by CrossFit, when there used to be CrossFit San Diego down there. Yes. And my first impression of you, I was hanging out with a buddy at the time. His name was Sean. And you were like, going around town filming. I'm like, who is this driven mofo? Who is this dude, like, filming everyone? And then I found out that you were doing the FitLife TV. And then I met John and I met all these other different people. So. Yeah, man, the E break of the timeline goes way back for you and I. It's pretty cool. It's pretty cool that we're here. Yeah.
And I know I've been on your show a couple times, so now you're on mine. This is brand new. The Drew and you, right. I love you have a whole plethora pounded out of information.
Experience that you've had. You've recently moved to Austin. You lived in Sedona for a little bit. So we share a lot of similarities there. You were. You were in Encinitas too. So the. The Southern California feel. And now here you are in your life. You have a baby.
Right? Coming.
No, there's the baby that's here. I mean, there could be another baby coming. I don't know. We'd have to check in with God. But yeah, man, I'm a new dad and he's almost four months old. And I'm so grateful. Like, a lot of people talk about love, but maybe they haven't been through some of the experiences that you and I have been through. Whether it's like psychedelics or breath work or the loss or the gain of things that we deem as worthy for love. But, man, when you look into the eyes of a child, especially your child, Drew, I cannot even explain it with words. There is a different energy around the heart chakra. And I have that chakra right behind me there. It's the green one right in the middle, there is an explosion. It gives me chills. Like my hair standing up on my arm right now, like, just to know that you have brought a life into the world and that Life is going to carry on whatever virtues and values and things that you believe in. And it's a humbling moment because you realized from. From that moment on, your life will never be the same. It's not about you anymore. Right. There's no. There's no I in the we, and the family is the we. So it's fascinating. It's also liberating. And, dude, at the same time, it's kind of terrifying sometimes.
It's all the things, man.
How are you handling it as a dad? I know you and I have talked a little bit about some of the past trauma that you've had and you've experienced and, you know, through mom and dad in the earth plane. How are you being dad now with minimizing or trying the best that you can? Right. Because as a parent, we always. We. We get to try.
Yeah.
As hard as we can. How. How are you practicing that discernment? What's that journey been like?
So the journey of discernment is always a moving target, and it's always a moving target to the degree of consciousness that I have. So if I'm doing my work, and I mean not. No bullshit. Can we cuss on your show, can we. Can we just wear. Okay, no bullshit. No bullshit. Right. Like, I'm either doing my work or not. And when it comes to being a father or a parent, there is absolutely nowhere to hide. Like, there's nowhere to hide. If anything you have is unprocessed, if anything you have is projecting, if anything you have is not healed, it's all there for you. It's like the oil. When you have oil come up to the top of water. And so what's been the most challenging for me has been handling it all. Caring for my son, financial responsibility, interviewing people, being lights, camera, action, being a partner to carry, being a father to myself as well. And then all the while, having these family generational patterns arise, having unhealed wounds arise, and managing all of that, dude, is a. Is a shock to the nervous system. So I've been doing. I just did it this morning twice. I've been doing a lot. Lot of hot and cold therapy, a lot of breathwork. As you know, I have a program called Breathwork I.O. we've got thousands of people in the program. So it came to me in 2016, and, like, man, I use it every day, Drew. Every day, man. So I have a lot of tools. But also, the work continues. Like, I don't think that when we have more responsibility that the work actually lessens. I Actually believe that we encompass and we acquire more work, but we just have more support and more tools to do it. So the game I'm playing is way, way fucking bigger than it was in 2015. That is for sure. When I started the podcast.
Yes. I love it, brother. How did you prepare for having a child? Like, what did you do as a man? Because a lot of men aren't initiated, as you know, you and I have. We've studied that work. How did you initiate yourself before bringing on this little physical being into the earth plane?
So the deep call that I had. There's a friend out here, and I believe you've been on his show where you know him. His name is Aubrey Marcus. Do you know Aubrey and his work? Of course.
He's like the mayor of Texas Austin.
He kind of is. And so anyways, like, he introduced me to this guy named Tim Kilcoren, and Tim does some of the retreats for Aubrey's fellowship. I think it's called the. I forget the name of the Fit for Service Fellowship. And Tim does what's called Vision Quests. So he takes people out. You would absolutely love it. Well, I don't know. You might. Most people that do any kind of personal development work, they don't know what it's like to just be by themselves. Typical personal development work is with teachers. It's with a lot of other things. Even people that go to psychedelic ceremonies, it's like they're typically in a room with other people. The beauty and the magic of the Vision quest that pulled me in is that you spend 100 hours, no food, just water, no fire, no phone, no one else by yourself in nature. And I was called to that because I wanted to burn away any kind of projections Drew that I would have put onto my son. So you asked me how I prepared for Nova. I prepared for Nova by doing the deepest, most challenging work I've ever done. And I mean that. I mean that tenfold, dude. No psychedelics, no breastfeeding. 100 hours, 100 hours, 100 hours in nature, and all you get is four gallons of water, a tarp, a sleeping bag, and a mat. That is it. I mean, you get nothing else like no food, no knife, no fire even.
No cell phone.
What?
No cell phone.
No cell phone. No cell phone. So I went out there and my intention, because we all give intentions to the group, man, my intention was just to be the most passionate, loving present father I could be for Nova. And this is the key. Without my projections. And so guess what came up with mother Nature. All of my stuff that I was still angry about my father for and the work on this for our parents. Like, true forgiveness is a process. It's not something we can't just, like, flick a forgiveness light switch, as you know.
Yeah.
So that was how I really prepared for Nova, man. And there's a lot of chapters in there. There's a lot that went on.
I love the name Nova.
Thank you. N O V, A H with an H. So.
And really, to give us backstory on you preparing yourself for this, I know you were even pre to that you were preparing yourself as a lover, as somebody who had to initiate themselves in finding your. Your significant other. I know you spent some considerable amount of time in Sedona, which is an activation portal, and then you materialize this absolute goddess in your life. Walk us through that journey, because people. People are always curious, and people love love.
I like to pause before I share something that I've shared many times, but I really want to connect with you on this one because you've spent so much time in Sedona, so you know, what's up? And before we do this, I just want to take a big, deep breath.
Because everyone is looking for love. Everybody's looking for love. And, like the song, we all look in the wrong places, Drew. So, like, I was looking for love because I wanted something that I wasn't myself, and I did that for a long time. I did it for a long time where I would want somebody that had, like, all these values. And, you know, they cared about their body. They cared about their spiritual health. They were doing the work mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial, which is like the fifth part, because I don't think wellness is a quadrant. I think wellness is a pentagon. And so what I found was I kept attracting women that would level me up. Right. Like, over and over and over again. So if I was empty in one of those categories, Drew, then I would attract someone, and they would level me up. And I just kept getting leveled up, leveled up, leveled up. It was painful. Maybe it could have been easier, but I don't know. God works in mysterious ways. So I was gonna go out to Sedona, and I was gonna do an interview with Anahata. And for those of you who don't know, she's shamangelic healing. I know you've probably interviewed her, and she's interviewed you, I think. Right?
Not well, Yeah. I mean, we've had plans. I've done many, many nature walks with Anahata. She's a true sister. So I get it. Yeah.
So you know her level of depth when it comes to spirituality and connection with the earth.
Yes.
And so I was. For some reason, when I look back, it's easy to connect the dots. I went out there because I wanted to share her medicine, her gift with the world, which was breath. Little did I know that I was already on a bre journey myself. So I get out there, and I had been Facebooking with Carrie for a long time, just like, Facebook messaging. And at the time, she was with someone else, and I didn't know that. And so I went to Thailand for 30 days, and I just kind of fell off the map. And I checked in with myself, and I'm like, huh? Why are my feelings hurt that we're not talking anymore? It's just someone on Facebook that I've been messaging with. You know, it's no big deal, but there was something deep in my heart that was, like, hurting because we didn't have the connection, and we weren't even together yet. We haven't even met, none of that stuff. And so I get out there, and she. She was working and living out there, and we messaged each other, and she was like, why don't you meet me at this rock at this rock called Cathedral Rock? And I was like, sure. So I did the podcast with Anahanta, and the next morning, I go and I meet her, and I check my phone, and I'm texting her, and it's 11:11. No shit. I'm not even joking. Like, it's 11:11. I have the text to prove it. The stars were aligned. And right when I met her, I was just like, wow. I. I knew right away that this could be the mother of my children. Not that she was. And obviously, the first time I met her, I wasn't like, you're the mother of my children. But there was that potential. There was that potential. And I was, like, pulled in by the potential, Drew. And so, yeah, we did this hike, and we ended up, like, embracing and hugging, and there was just a familiarity there that I couldn't really explain. And I went home, and we developed this real romantic relationship. She came out to San Diego. I was going back and forth, and then I just made the decision to move out to Sedona because I knew that part of being with her involved a deep level of trust. And so I had to actually let go and honestly burn the boats. Everything I ever knew, like, in San Diego for 40 years of my life, loved the ocean, loved everything. And I was just like, I'm gonna do a massive trust fall right now, and I'm gonna go for it. I'm gonna go out to Sedona. I'm gonna live there. And the one more thing that I'll share is I'm sure you're familiar with Paramahasa Yogananda and the SRF and Encinitas. They're all over the world, man. They're everywhere. Well, I'm at Paleo FX about 10 or 15 days before I go to Sedona to do the interview with Anahata and to meet Kerry and Paul Cech has me on his show, and he looks right at me. And you know Paul. So when he looks at you, it's like his eyes kind of go into your soul. And his eyes went into my soul. And he's like, well, what do you want in life right now? And I was like, I'm ready for my love. I'm ready for my partner. And he's like, do you want help with that? And I said, sure. He's like, repeat after me. Bless me that I choose my life's companion according to the laws of perfect soul union. And we said it twice. And that Soulmate prayer shifted something. And I went out to Sedona, and two weeks later, there she was. But I had done a lot of work to get to that podcast with Paul. I came across his work in 2008. So when he said that to me, man, like, it just. It was an intention, it was a commitment. It was a promise to myself to never stop doing the work. Because this is the key. Bless me that I choose my life's companion according to the laws of perfect soul union. That means according to the laws of God's will. Not what I want, not what my selfish mind wants, not what I deem to be appropriate according to God's will. And sometimes God's will, in order for us to heal generational pain, we have to go into the fire a lot hotter than other people. And that's been the case, man. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. That's been the case with Carrie and I. That's been the case with me being a father. But, like, I welcome it because I know what's possible for him. I know what's possible for Nova, and so it's all worth it.
And by the way, I love the prayer. I love the interaction with Paul Chek. I love the Thailand, you know, 30 days out there. I love the yearning and longing for connection. When you were missing the Facebook connection that you had, I think that's absolutely astounding and beautiful.
Thanks, man.
And I love that you gave up everything. 40 years. Gave it up, Moved out to Sedona, which is an activation portal.
And then that's no joke in Sedona. When you go out to Sedona, there's more crystals in the ground. And you know, if you go with Anahunta, for people that haven't been to Sedona, when the trees grow like spirals, that means there's a bedrock of crystals in the ground. Sedona is like this. It's almost like a magnifying glass for any kind of residue that's attached to souls.
100%.
You feel that?
Yeah. And depending on where your astro geology is, like my wounded healer, my chiron line actually runs right through Sedona.
Okay. So I'm actually love talking to Carrie about this.
Triple activated.
Oh. So she's way into astrocartography and I. And I think there is something to that. I don't. Are you passionate about the. The constellations and astrocartography and astrology? Is that something that you pour yourself into a lot?
No, no, no. I don't pour myself into anything like that. Outside of my connection to God. I. I like to look at things like. Like you said, 11. 11. I find numbers are very fascinating how they follow you around. I love to see glitches in the Matrix. I love to, you know, think about something so much to where now that becomes in the resonant field and then have people show up. It's almost like their consciousness is B located in something. And then the. The holographic illusionary nature of our world opens up. I love beyond what we see. The five senses. Right. So 100% I'm in it. I try not to give too much power to it is what I'm really trying to say.
Yeah.
I think when people start giving their life away to tarot and these other things, it's like they give away their personal power. So I believe we are far more powerful than we could ever imagine. And we're waking up to that now. I think there's so much happening on the planet. Which would bring us into the next topic for discussion because I know you've been tracking this, obviously. You live in Austin now. The land of the free, Right. Compared to la, New York somewhere. I was just reading about New York this morning and apparently they're doing some gas testing. They're doing this safe gas, quote unquote testing in public subways, in train stations.
So I don't know when people are gonna wake up to realize that, literally, we are in the middle of World War three.
Yeah. But this world war is different than the ones that our grandfathers fought. So just a quick. A quick intersection, then. I'll come right back. Drew, to what you're asking. My grandfather's name was Morrow. That was his first name. He was the first Italian American general in the Marine Corps. They gave him the key to Passaic, New Jersey, like, it was a big deal. And. And so there's a deep reverence and an honoring that I have for that generation. Now. War is a continuation of politics by other means, in my opinion, and I think in all of our opinions, it should be a absolute last resort. And essentially, we will be at one time in a world where there is no war. Not in our lifetimes, Drew. But maybe in our kids. Kids, kids, livestock.
We showed up for a reason here, but we're here.
So we're part of the storybook. And so, anyways, I say that because that is Nova's middle name, which is Morrow, because I honor the past and I also create spaciousness for the future, free of our family's projections. With that said, as a holder, as a container, the reason why this is happening, and I deeply, deeply believe this, like, without any hesitation. We are all being tested to go through this threshold right now because we have fallen asleep to how fucking amazing, how much love and how powerful we truly are. That's what's up. So we are all just infinite beings. And when I say infinite, I mean try to make a human body. You cannot do it. Only God can make a human body. Nature only can make nature. So what am I saying? We're all going through the threshold to remember who we are. We all drank from the river of Forgetfulness. It's in the Logos, which is a biblical text. We have forgotten who we are. So we're every single day choosing to do things that are in high vibration and frequency to wake us up, to remember who we are. Or we get these huge sledgehammers from God, from consciousness itself to wake us up, and they're painful. We're so slumbering, and we're so asleep. As a culture, we're giving away our health freedoms. We're giving away our bodily autonomy. We're giving everything away in the name of comfort and in the name of security. Well, there's no fucking thing.
There's no fucking thing called security. It doesn't exist. So if we really want to be secure, then we have to acknowledge and surrender to the fact that There is no such thing as ultimate guaranteed security. So our minds, our amygdala, Drew, has been hijacked. What you see on the TV that you mentioned, where people aren't even tripping out about gas being in the sewers, injections in their arms that they don't want? We have hundreds of thousands of special ops, firefighters, nurses. I mean, it breaks my fucking heart that these people are being fired because they will not bow down to the totalitarian regime that says, I know what's best for your body, so let me stick this in you, otherwise you're fired. We are living in fucking biblical times. We're living in crazy times because this is God waking us up. This is God waking us up, and we have to return back to God. I don't mean a bearded dude in the sky. I mean the loving presence and the thing that creates and that watches over all things. And everybody has their own unique experience with that, right? I'm not here to say that someone should believe God is this, or someone should believe God is that. I have my experience of God, and there's a God inside of us. There's a God outside of us. So a long answer to your short question. It's a slap in the face to relieve us from our slumber. That's what's going on with the gas and the subways, the injections, the mask wearing, the. The health freedoms being stripped away, economics being completely destructed. There's a lot more there as well. I mean, it's a deep question because you can follow that thread and unravel the entire sweater, Drew.
Yeah, and I feel that, too. And thank you for your words in regards to that. I find that very powerful. And I love the middle name of your son, too. And just staying so in the eternal now and the present moment with love, I think we can, like I always say, you can either be hit with a feather, a Mack truck, or a wall. Right now, we've kind of passed the feather point.
Like, we're way past it.
The truck's coming. We haven't hit the wall yet, but the truck is on the way. And whether or not people will admit it, prepare for it, have their sovereignty in it, it's a question to just ponder. You know, I think the next three months are going to be very revealing.
It's not about fear either. Like, I'm not here, and I don't get this energy of fear from you, and I don't have it either. I'll be honest. When it first happened, I did experience fear. I Noticed my amygdala was hijacked. That was like the first three to six months I was going in and out of that. And then at about the six month mark, because by the way, the two weeks to flatten the curve, we're now at almost two years. So at about six months I was like, ah, this is exactly what I thought it was. I just had to gather the evidence that I was on the right path of discernment. And gathering the evidence doesn't mean I'm a conspiracy theorist. I'm only subscribing to like natural health news, blah, blah, blah. I'm looking at the full picture. I'm, I'm, I'm taking a Socratic method and I'm looking at both sides, you know, the pro and the against. I like to be in the middle on this because I'm not anti vaccine. If people feel like they want to get the vaccine, great, go for it. That's not my advice. But I, but I love and I, and I so deeply appreciate your decision making faculty and your power to choose in that same right. Don't think for any reason that you will ever take away my power to choose because you won't, because I will die for it. Straight up. And so really where we're at right here and really where we are in the conversation, which is the same place we are in society, we are all being forced to choose because that is what children do when they grow up. We're all children of God. So we're all learning how to choose what is right, to choose what is noble. And it's a challenge because a lot of what's being burned away and stripped away, it comes with sacrifice, it comes with bloodshed. So there's obviously great things in the world at the same time, Drew, there's love, there's joy, there's abundance, there's this connection, there's podcasting, there's so many things. But at the same time we have to be mature enough to choose and we're being all pushed up into maturity from children.
You and I are at the perfect age for this because I think when you turn 40, you really begin to live your life. It's like you spend your whole life getting the text and then at 40 you have the context, you have the code, right? And I think you and I have the code. Now.
I'm reading a great book by Ram Dass called Becoming Nobody and literally, like.
It really has, you analyze all the constructs of identity that you think you are and then it moves you into the soul level of what the soul is here to do. And it's just absolutely beautiful because we are at that point, we are at this place of recognizing how divine and how infinite we are. And the more turbulence, the more chaos, the more quote, unquote suffering that's happening on the planet. The law is there has to be the opposite reaction, right? So this is what's happening. People are waking up. I'm encouraging everybody to connect to their neighbors, their police and fire department, to get local food going, to express body sovereignty, to take care of themselves, to order some of the medical stuff that may not be around much longer. Hide your books that talk about natural immunity and the things of the past like Chinese medicine and stuff. Because I do think they're not in a fear way, but I do think on some level they'll come for it.
Yeah, that's not all they're coming for. And when you say they drew again, I don't want to paint this picture of fear. I'm coming from just awareness of both sides. I feel you and I hear you, but I really want everyone else to feel you and hear you too. Because look at every single regime that has ever taken over people. Whether it's the Mao in China or whether it's Mussolini or whether it's Hitler. Look at any single leader, quote, quote, that has ever done anything that commits genocide or that kills people. They always come with an offering of for the public good. They always come that way. And if you look at the book I'm reading right now, it's called the Fourth Turning. It talks about every 80 years there is a massive societal event. It was World War II and World War II was about 80 years ago. So here we are. You know, World War II is 1944. Here we are in 2021. It's about 80 years. We're coming up to something real big. And I'm not trying to scare people, but like, we all need to be prepared. Not as a prepper. We don't need to stack 50 pounds of rice in our closets if you want to. Great. All I'm saying is take stock of who's around you, like you said, your neighbors. And take stock of your relationship with yourself and your relationship to fear. Because there needs to be an equilibrium, almost like a calibration to fear, unfortunately. And fortunately, you and I both make a lot of money from this phone. Yeah, so the phone makes us money, but also the phone is a double edged sword and it actually makes money off of us. So we all have to be very Conscious and aware of that. And I talk about this all the time on my show, and especially when it comes to the default mode network. And this is fascinating, Drew, I'm sure at times in your life, because you're a very conscious man. Like, you're a very deep brother. You're a very deep person. And at times you probably have your moments where you're like, holy shit, I just had a human moment. I just got. I just got locked into something and I pulled myself out of it. Well, the only way we pull ourselves out of anything is to turn down the volume on the default mode network. And that's what we all are being primed to do. The default mode network, it's the. The posterior cingulate cortex, the PFC and the amygdala. If we can take. There's some other systems in there, but those are the big three. If we can use breath, or if we can use conscious relating, or if we can use any tool we have to turn down that safety mechanism in our brain, well, then we won't be such a harvested person by this phone, and we won't be a victim to our phone. We won't be a victim to other people. It's easy for me to sit here on your podcast and intellectualize this stuff. I totally relate that it's hard, but the more that we talk about it and the more awareness we have, dude, every single day it gets a little bit easier. And the volume on the default mode network turns down a little bit more at a time. So it's a gradual process. And I think right now we're just being asked to accelerate that process.
Yeah, it's ascension. Ascension isn't leaving your body. It's coming into your heart. And when you're in your heart, you're in the present moment. So you're not living in the future. You're not living in the past. You're not thinking about, worst case scenario, you're not thinking about the identity of me. Like you said, you're in the we. You're in the we cortex.
Yeah.
You're in safety. Your vagus, nervous systems and rest and digest. Right? You're parasympathetic. You're rocking back and forth a little bit like the dog wags its tail. You're feeling that the safety and being home, being in your heart. And the more and more we can emit that frequency as the human collective consciousness, then the other pendulum side of it will have to titrate and alchemize some of the negative stuff that's actually coming up the pipe. So I think it's. It's fascinating times we're in, brother. And I love talking about this with you, and I know my audience is very much into this right now, you and I, probably.
As we all are.
Yeah.
Because we're in it. We're into it because we're in it. That's why. That's why.
Thousands of hours, there's been a lot of good news coming forth as far as, like, what's happening, you know, the in n out, his win against the mandates up in San Francisco and Southwest Airlines and Delta airlines and NBA and NFL professionals. So I think it's. It'll be interesting what happens over the next three months.
You have a hat on, and it's perfect. And it says love. I don't. I don't. Is it we love or what's above it?
Yeah, we love.
We love.
And it's a lion.
And it's a lion. I don't know where you got the hat, but it's pretty awesome for this episode because love is not something that we are all programmed to have as adults. We're just not like, we're born with it. We are all born loving. I look at my son. There's not a day that goes by where he's not pure in his loving. That's all he does, Drew. He just loves. He doesn't know anything else. He hasn't been taught anything else. But we get taught. We actually get taught that love is something that it's not. Love becomes. It metamorphosizes into something that really is evil. And so love is touted in our world as evil. Here's a good example. You wear this mask. I know what's good for you. Take this shot. I know what's good for you. Stay in your house. I know what's good for you. Buy this product. I know what's good for you. But. But someone like yourself that actually has a company that truly helps people, that gives them things, that nourishes their body, that makes their heart and soul at a high frequency. It's totally different. But here's the kicker. They're both presented in the same way, right? The road to hell is paved with good intentions. You have. The greatest place for the devil to hide is in the church. So how do we have a faculty in our intuition and in our heart and soul and mind to know when someone's being truthful with us? We only learn by experience. And that's why I'm saying, earlier, you asked me, like, what's going on in our world. And I truly believe we are being called up the mountain, Drew. We are being called up the mountain to be adults, to graduate from adolescence. And unfortunately, just like a child, when a child craps his pants or, you know, has a temper tantrum in public, we're kind of going through that. People are like, what do you mean I can't check out Kylie Jenner's cat 14 hours a day? What do you mean that I have to actually care about myself? What do you mean that I actually have to hold higher consciousness conversations? It's like, that's where we are. That's why you see people like Jordan Peterson and Joe Rogan being so popular, because they're doing. They're being a conduit for these conversations like ours that are so needed in the world. But not everybody's ready for them. Not everybody's ready for them because they're still attached to. They're in, like, the child archetype, really, the high chair tyrant that Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette talk about in King Warrior, Magician Lover. They're kind of stuck and they're looping in that archetype of the tyrant that just wants what they want, because we've all been programmed that way because we're easier to be sold to and to be taken advantage of. And I'm sorry to paint this grim picture, but it's the reality of what I see.
All right, so with that being said, how does one prepare themselves to obtain a higher level of consciousness and go through this gracefully versus experiencing pain versus experiencing more suffering that they could probably avoid?
Well, I just did a really amazing therapy session a couple weeks ago, and what came up from it was with all my skills and all my training, because I've done a lot of trainings. I know you have, too. Whether it's mastering transformational training or ALA or all the people you've worked with. I think you've even worked with some very influential people around. What was the book? The author of the book, the Four Agreements. Didn't you work with him a little bit?
Yeah, a little bit. I've actually worked with a shaman for, like, 13 years.
That's right.
That's what you're working in.
I remember you. Okay. Yes. So you don't need to go be blasted out with psychedelics into the 5 and 6D. You've trained yourself to access them. Now, not everybody's like that. And so how we prepare ourselves is we all need to start accessing these higher states of consciousness. But how do we do that. I think practically how we do that is we return to the core fundamentals of the ancestors, behavior that brought us here. Like truly, we have to. It's not even a question. We have to drink clean water out of glass, we have to eat healthy foods, we have to do our breathing, we have to, we have to move. We have to learn how to love each other in a world where love and fear are presented in the same frequency, but they're not. We just have to be attuned to that frequency. So if I want to be attuned to a higher frequency, I cannot be attuned to that frequency. Unless drew, unless I myself am at that frequency. That's why I kept attracting the women that would uplevel me, because I needed to uplevel my frequency. So that's truly where we are. I think practically we do those things. We breathe, we eat, we move. And it's all stuff that your audience is probably like, well, duh. But are you doing it? I mean, that's, that's the real thing. And then of course, this is the real unpacking. And this is the deeper, more philosophical question that I want to jam with you about. This is like the juicy one. What blocks us from keeping the promises we made to ourselves to do the breathing, the eating, the conscious relating, the moving, the self loving. It's worthiness. I'm sorry to break it to you guys. Again, I'm sorry, not sorry. Actually, I'm not really that sorry.
You don't have to apologize.
I'm not sorry. I'm sorry that I'm not sorry, but I'm not sorry. Like if we're, if we're, if I make a promise to myself, if I say I'm going to do something and I break that promise, it's a point of reflection. Every time we break a promise to ourselves, it's a point of reflection. And so in that point of reflection, we can run and hide or we can face it and we can lean into the blade and we can die into the loving part of it. And so as a society, both macro and micro, we're all being forced to a set a promise to ourselves of how we feel worthy. And that includes not allowing people to control us and loving ourselves. And then b, we have to have the faculty and the discipline to know when we've broken that promise to ourselves. You know, if I've broken a promise to myself, the worst thing I could ever do is go and run and hide. The best thing I could ever do is be open and honest with people that I care about that I broke a promise. Because then from that vulnerable place, Drew, then we can actually do something different. I mean, the only way we can do something different is from that place. There's absolutely no way from a place of hubris or from a place of cockiness or egoicness that we're ever going to get a different result. Because it's only at the altar of humility that we can do different things. We can't do anything different if we're not humble to kneel either before God, our community, or men. Look at how many men are being unfaithful in the spiritual community right now. And look at how many just human beings, not even just men.
Yeah.
Look at how many people. Look at how many people, women too, are being unfaithful. Well, in order to have faith, you have to have virtues. And if you don't have virtues, you don't know yourself. There's a lot there to unpack. But essentially, we all need to. We all need to heal. We all need to kneel, and we all need to heal.
Yeah. Well, what I'm really hearing, brother, and I love that you brought up breathe, move all the basic things, you know, grounding into nature. Because when you do these things, they actually put you in your heart. And if you're in your heart, then you can think outside of the thinker. You can become the perceiver. And any psychedelic journey that you go on. I've never done psychedelics. I know you're a proponent of it, but like I said.
Well, I'm a proponent. I'm a proponent with the caveat of extreme safety and extreme discernment. I don't think everyone should do them.
Yeah, thanks for the clarification. For me, I get a lot of access in dream time. And it started at a young age, five years old. I was lucid dreaming every night. And then all of a sudden, I started to live lucidly. Like my awakened landscape became the dream. And I started seeing the code of the dream and the symbols in the dream. And I would wake up more and more. And that was realizing that I'm not Drew. I'm not this personality. So all the shame, all the grief, all the guilt, all the low self worth, which is what you said, you know, we have to deal with our own self worthiness. How am I handling shame? And asking your friends, you know, you got a friend, group of three people, ask them, how do you think I handle my shame? Because you'd be surprised. Most of the time, we Attract mirrors. In our life, we're living in the hall of mirrors. So if I'm hanging out with somebody every single day, how do they handle shame? They're probably handling it the same way I do. How are they handling their grief? How. How can we move past this collectively in our community? And then how can we heal the little wounded person that's inside of us that's trying so desperately to get to the heart, that has a barricade up and bamboo and castle like structures shielding the heart like an iron John, Right? How can I let that heart be free and be the wild man and be totally me? And then I think the more we do that together, you know, doing the breathe, move, the medicine of mother Nature to put us in our heart, the less we care about all the outside stuff, all the things, all the trappings of the material world, all the quote unquote, Babylonian stuff. That's a gimmick that holds us into our lower selves. And I think the more we do that, the more the world will wake up, the less politicians that we'll have that are taking millions and billions of dollars from these other corrupt companies. Corporations are running the world, right? And the more we'll take the power back.
Shit. Drew, there's a movie, and I'm sure you've seen it, and if you haven't, you have to see it. It's called Finding Joe. Have you seen it? Do you know about it? Okay, a lot of the people that are in that film you either know personally or maybe you've interviewed, but I definitely know you've heard of them. You know, people like. There's one gentleman who's in that show and he talks about getting his head cracked open. And.
I'm blanking on the name right now, but it'll come. Gay Hendrix. I just interviewed him. Gay Hendrix. And. And a lot of the people from the Secret are in that film. Anyways, the whole point of Finding Joe is that it's based on the archetypes of the hero's journey. And in the hero's journey, right before you enter the cave, right, there's three phases. Separation, initiation, and return. Well, dude, when you are separated right before you are deeply initiated so that you can return back and share the gift, every human being is going to have to go through some kind of death and birth process. Whether it's a death of old weight physically, whether it's a death of a relationship, whether it's a death of a career, maybe it's a death of a societal way of being like how we treat each other, how we allow governments to completely take advantage of us in so many different ways. All of this is in the cave that we fear to enter. But this is the magic is it holds the treasure that we're all seeking. I mean, it brings up, like, I feel emotional talking to you about this, because over and over and over again, this has happened to me in my life where I continually go back to the cave, I get scared, I face it anyways. Or I run back, and then again, I face it, and something beautiful is on the other side every single time. The best. So we're right there, right now, right? And so we're all flinching, just like any child would do, just like any human being would do when they're afraid of the monster in the cave. But we're the fucking monster.
We're the monster.
So look in the mirror. We're the monster. It's us. We've created all this, right? By either allowing it or by participating in. So how are we going to gather in community? Whether it's digital like this, we're gathering, dude. We're all here together. We're having this conversation or gathering in person, or how can we have more connection to ourself? And I think, man, a lot of this is happening to bring us all closer to God. And religion has divided God. Religion has really corrupted a lot of people's relationship with God. I was angry at God for the first 25 years of my life. I literally. I think it's. Sometimes I even said the word, I would say, fuck God, right? And I've asked for forgiveness for that.
But you're about to be struck by lightning right now.
I know, but I've gone through the path of forgiveness. I've gone through the path of forgiving myself for that, because I know that that was actually just my frustration because I felt alone. And that feeling of aloneness disconnects us from God. So it's almost like all these things we've talked about so far in the show, dude, they're all in the ocean. They're all floating. They're being, like, funneled into a channel. And so that's why we all feel it really tight right now, because all of our shit that's been floating around for so long, it's being channeled, and we are being forced to digest it and to assimilate it and to let it go. Mmm.
Come on. Well, listen, my dear brother, on the Drew and you podcast, I bring back guests often versus having a bunch of random new people all the Time. So I'd love to add you to that. I know people are gonna have tons of questions. This is the first time that they're hearing about you, and, well, maybe some of them. I know most of them probably already know who you are and listen to your show as well. Wellness Force, you have a breathwork program. Where can people find out more about you? Right here, right now.
So one of the things that I loved about our conversation, Drew, is that we really talked about the practical grounding things. Like, in your home, you have, like, the biohacking studio, I'm sure, Right?
Of course.
Like, the cold, the hot, everything. And those things are great. But there are six fundamental principles where I've interviewed people like you. I've interviewed people like Darren Olean and, you know, Rob Wolf and Dr. Kelly Brogan, some of the most incredible people in the health and wellness world. And I was like, okay, out of 450 episodes, what are, like, the handful of things that really matter? What are the things that really matter? And so I created a guide based on these six things. It's six fundamental practices that every single person. I don't care who you are, how old you are, you can all do these things. They're all free, and I'm giving you them for free. All you have to do is go to wellnessforce.com M21. It's the Morning 21 system. And these six practices is exactly what Drew and I have talked about today. So wellnessforce.com M21 is the guide. It's totally free. There's nothing for sale. I mean, of course we have things for sale. So if you want to buy things, it supports you, it supports us, but the guide is a gift. And so thank you for allowing me to give my gift on your podcast, man. I guess this is the first video podcast you've done.
I've done a couple, but you actually told me about this app that I'm using right now called Riverside.
Yes, Riverside.
So much easier. So thank you for that recommendation, brother.
Welcome.
And go get the free report, you guys. 21 days. I think it's beautiful. And when I come out to Austin, we'll have to shoot some content.
We have to, because I just got this new. It's called Plunge. It's a cold therapy tank. Yeah, I just interviewed the founder here. Oh, my God. And I have the sunlight, and I have the cold. And I just want to acknowledge you. And I just want to acknowledge how cool of a moment this was to be on your podcast, because. No, really, I mean that, like, Like, Organifi has supported us. You've supported our podcast for so long. Back when Shauna was with the company in 2016. Since then. Wow. Yeah, man. So it's been our number one sponsor. It's been our number one product ever since then. So just huge gratitude for you and acknowledgement of this shared path we're on. Although different, man, I really feel like we are on the same path. Right. We express it in a unique way. But thank you, Drew.
Thank you. I'm with you, brother. It's good to see you. It's good to feel your heart. I know people are going to get a lot of value out of this, and I knew that day one, when we first started sponsoring your podcast, back in the day, when Shawna was so stoked and came in and was like, yeah, you know. Josh Trent, Wellness Forest. I was so elated in that, and I just continue to be impressed, Inspired. I'm feeling very inspired by you and just, yeah, grounded. You have a lot of grounding energy. I feel like I'm in my heart with you, brother, and that's an uncommon thing to feel those things. I've seen you level up so much, and I'm. I'm proud and I'm inspired of the man that you're becoming.
So feels good. Feels good to receive that from you. Thanks, Drew.
Yeah, Anything I can do to support. I'm in full support of you in the show and what you're creating, and I'm excited to do more of these in the future as well.
Me too.
So much love, my brother.
Okay. Much love. Thanks, Drew.
Two of my really good friends in this life have created a company a few years ago called My Soul cb. Now, they've done all the testing you could imagine. Third party to make sure that it's the best CBD on the market. And when I started taking this, what I realized is tracking it with my whoop or my aura. Some of the personal tracking devices I've tested in the past is I'm literally gaining 45 minutes to an extra hour of deep sleep every single night. And the same goes for the gummies. I love the gummies. After dinner, before I go to bed, it kind of gives me, like, that little dessert feeling in my body. I don't really need anything sweet. I'm not a sweet dessert guy. But gummies, these things are absolutely incredible. And they've helped me sleep. You know, how important sleep is. I think it's one of the greatest things we can do for our immune system, we can do for our mind. I don't wake up fogging the next day like some other CBD products I've tested. I've literally tested dozens of CBD products. And the reason it's on the show for you is because I believe in it. I believe in them, and I believe it could really impact your quality of life as well. So go to mysoulcbd.com drew and get 15% off today. That's just mysoulcbd.com Drew for 15% off. Message me. Let me know what you think. Let me know when your sleep has been drastically improved, because I know it's super important. Anyway, we're in this together.
