Alright, so you've heard me talk about this on the Drew and you show before, but I think it's so important to talk about it today and I want to give you some steps to owning your personal power. I just got off a coaching call and we talked about owning personal power. There's a lot of things that we do every single day that we give our power away to, especially in corporate culture. Right? Maybe we work for somebody else and there's duties and tasks that maybe we don't like to do and we've agreed through labeling and these different corporate structures that will continue to do them even though it's causing a slow death inside. How can we stop giving our power away? And how can we have authentic power coming from an internal source versus an external source? So many people are seeking their power from an external world. The matrix, the 3D society, the five senses. How can we get power beyond that? How can we lean into the sustaining infinite and really level up our own personal power to attract, manifest and materialize everything that we've ever wanted in our life?
Number one, I'm just going to get right into it. I think we need to first and foremost declare our ambition. What are we up to? You got to acknowledge it and declare it. What's your intention? What's my intention for this day? What's my intention for this week? What's my. What do I want to create this year? And having goals, never apologizing for your ambition or the motivation. Right? Seeking out mentors, seeking out managers. If you work in a corporate, corporate situation, telling them what your ambitions are, what you want to create. Far too many people are quiet when it comes to verbalizing and vocalizing what they want to create in the world. And I think that's a, an indirect way to kind of give away your power and just settle for the, the TikTok mundane world. So what is your. What does success look like to you? You know what, what do you want your ambition to be wherever you are? I think another thing is I was on the phone with a family member recently and I could just listen to the language they were using and they were giving away so much power. They were blaming a lot of the financial situation that they were up against on coming from the old school, working the 9 to 5. A lot of it was limitation upon limitation, lack upon lack. There were so many scarcity conversations in this and it all comes from our positive self talk. You've heard me say this before. There's two things we can control in this life. One is what we put in our mouth what we eat, and two is what we put in our mind and what we think. So how can we replace the negative self talk that's paralyzing us right now? How can we write down some of the thoughts that are seeming to be in a loop every single day, holding us to a certain vibrational plane? What are they? Self awareness is one of the first steps in owning your personal power. How do I show up? How are these limiting beliefs controlling my life right now? How can I release the thoughts, reframe them, and replace them with positive affirmations? I have talked about this on past YouTube videos, some mindset Mondays. But becoming a reframe expert, super powerful. No matter what you're up against, reframe it. No matter how bad, how bleak, how dire the situation looks, reframe it. This is the greatest opportunity ever. If you've ever read Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, older book, if you haven't read it, read it. He was in Nazi Germany, these war camps, and he just reframed the situation. So much so that he was completely shifting his timeline out of it. And when you read the book, it's just super, super powerful. How can we find more meaning with some of the lessons that we're up against in our life? So that you're no longer running on an empty gas tank, but your gas tank is full of this nitrous, full of the high octane stuff so that you can own your power fully. Replacing negative self talk with positive affirmations is one of the ways to do that. Another way is not only being an advocate for yourself, right? Like I'm a personal advocate of Drew Canole, but also an advocate for every single human being I come in contact with. What success looks like to them is also part of their dream. And I believe the collective dream, the dream that I have with them is contributing to the success that they have in the mind for themselves. So how can I create that? How can I show up in a way to positively impact their results? How can I have them get more visibility and credibility? How can I have them create more abundance in their life? So how can I be an advocate for my family members, my people around me? Right? How can I promote the internal team? And even if it's something that I kind of spearheaded or did, how can I sometimes give credit to them? Right? Because it's about working together in this life. I've been saying we're in this together since the beginning of the time. I mean it. How can we be an advocate for ourselves and others. You'll find the more you help other people, the more they're going to help you hit your dreams and your goals. There's so many people that just negate reaching out or going the extra mile for somebody else because they're too focused on what they want. Yet the average TV watch time is like three or four hours a day. Imagine if you spent an hour just helping somebody else or doing something that somebody didn't even expect you to do in the first place. The more you help people, the more you can start to ask for help when you need it. That's the way we give our power away is not asking for help. I've seen so many relationships fail because one of the people, they're not telling the other person what they really need in the relationship. So then they build up resentment and the resentment builds and builds and builds. And then before you know it, the relationship's over because they didn't really ask for what they needed. And they were playing a character that was in incongruent with the authentic nature of who the person really was. And I know I'm pinging you right now. You listen to this. I could feel it in your body. I know there's more than one person out there that's listening to this. It's like, holy. Yeah. So you got to ask for what you want, my friend. Stop giving your power away by being that wounded little kid that didn't get what you really needed. Start stepping into the adult, into the knowing of what you want. Write it down, ask for it in a powerful way. I think that's going to restore so much power to you, you're going to be amazed. People actually want to do stuff for you. They want to support you. You got to stop lone wolfing it. And the next one would be speaking up and sharing your opinions and ideas. I can't tell you how many rooms I've been in. Be it emotional intelligence workshops, college, you know, different courses and curriculums, leadership academies, People are reluctant to speak up. They're scared. They're reluctant to share their ideas. They're reluctant to have the courage to stand up for what they believe in, to express their intelligence and their opinions. People are reluctant. Yet every single person with any idea that speaks up, they're not in judgment. People appreciate it. People respect it. So how can you speak up more? Sharing your opinion, sharing your values, sharing your ideas. What you have could be absolutely brilliant. So why not speak up? Why are you giving your power away, letting somebody else do it? For you. So if you have ideas, they need to be applauded, my friend. Get out there, share your opinion, share your ideas and stop giving your power away. I would say the next thing would be personal time or self love as I like to call it. I've talked about this quite a bit. You can only give from a full cup. I see so many little halvesies out there trying to give from a half cup full. That doesn't work out too well. So scheduling self care. Self care is internal power. The more self care you give yourself, the more power you have to give to other people and the more you can actually demonstrate success and dominion in the earth field. So what are you doing to take care of you? Maybe it's a nighttime ritual, taking a bath every day. Maybe it's reading, maybe it's playing some music, getting creative. What brings that five year old inner joy in your life and how can you create more of that? Most of us, we're busy, our schedules get packed up, we forget to give ourselves that self love. Self love starts with you. Make sure to return to your powerful state. You're committing to a quiet time in your daily schedule every single day. I'd say next up would be network. I know there's a lot of people that settle in the environment of their friends. So are you settling if you were to take stock of your five best friends and the books that you're reading today, that is the future you. How's your future look? Are your friends building you up? Are the books that you're reading building you up? If you're not reading like that's a sign, right? How can you have more of a supportive network? Are they powerful role models? Are they people that you look up to, people that you are inspired by their ideas? And are they the champion of your ideas? Are they providing advice for what you're up to in your life? And if you're not, you might want to consider building more of a supportive network to help you in your quest to build more personal power. I think acknowledging our fears is another one. We have a lot of fears. We have a lot of negative thoughts. We sabotage our power. Once we start to get a taste of it, we try to give it away quickly because we don't want everybody looking at us. We go into dorsal freeze sometimes because there's so much trauma in our body that we're unable to use that trauma, that untapped potential as I like to call it. So it takes baby steps in acknowledging what we're really afraid of. Maybe it's sharing them with your significant other. This is what I'm afraid of. Every time I hit this new mark, I'm afraid to leave my comfort zone. How can I move my comfort zone? Can you help create an energetic space so that I can do this? Then work on it. But first you got to acknowledge it. If you're so lost and addicted to avoiding your fears, that's not a life worth living, my friend. You got to lean into it. Lean into those fears. Also, I did a YouTube video a while ago. Growth versus fixed mindset. It's important to have a growth mindset, to always be learning, to be curious, keeping an open mind. But also you could read a thousand books and if you're not applying it, then you're not not really gaining any true knowledge. True knowledge comes from the experience. It comes from the application of it. So maybe you have all the books in the world. You've read it, you've studied it, you've been to every single lecture. Personal development, growth mindset thing that you could do. But if you're not putting it in action, then you'll never get to that level that I know you really want to be at. Or you can get there. So having a growth mindset, maybe you have limitations around certain things in your life that you could really shift to create a new opportunity for personal growth. I would say that's super powerful in regards to having more personal power as well. And those would be some simple, easy ways to have more power in your life. We can build up willpower and momentum. I've talked about a book called Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. It was a book I read a long time ago. There's also atomic habits so that you can start to build up more momentum in your life for what you want to create. I think the more you do that, the more personal power you're going to have in your life. So one thing I did recently is I wrote down all the ways I was abandoning myself and when I abandoned myself, I'm actually giving my power away. So let that be your homework for this podcast. If you choose, write down all the ways you've abandoned the real you. Maybe it's what you do for a living. Maybe it's giving away certain aspects of yourself in a relationship that you're in. Maybe it's not really showing up fully. Whatever it is, how do you abandon yourself? And let's start to take our power back. Are you taking expert advice from somebody else versus following your own inner guidance system? Let me tell you, the more you build up personal power in your life, the more effortless it will be to make those decisions that are sometimes hard or a little complex. You have a fortress. You have an invisible field around you of protection. And that's a super powerful place to be, my friend. So let's build up some personal power together right now. Lord knows we need it more than ever. The world can seem like it's going to hell in a hand basket. You get all these things happening in Australia and Italy and all over the world. Can you hold your power? So much so that it doesn't matter what the outside world is doing. You're creating your own inner world. You're shifting and sorting through appropriate timelines for you because this is your life. You are living in your universe. So what can we create? What type of miracles can we pull down from the heavens? And let's do it together. Hope this was helpful. It's absolutely incredible. I love increasing my cannabinoid receptors in the body. Helps me deal with inflammation response. I've also noticed when I take it before bed, I take about a thousand milligrams. It gives me an extra hour sometimes of deep sleep. Deep sleep is so important. Most people get, as they age, 30 to 45 minutes of deep sleep. I'm hearing from some of the people that have been listening to this information from me for years. Years. I've been getting two, two and a half hours of deep sleep. I've noticed my resting heart rate drops three to four beats a minute, which is absolutely exceptional when it comes to increasing hrv. When it comes to increasing your mental clarity in the morning and when I take Soul cbd, I also notice that I'm not foggy like some other CBDs that include a little bit of THC. It takes me sometimes two, three hours in the morning to have the effects wear off and the I'm good to go for the day, but I actually like to wake up in the morning.
