Glyphosate, Chemicals, Organic Foods and Longevity with Drew Canole
18 Apr 2022 · 53 min
Podcast interview (Neuro Experience) with Drew Canole (founder of FitLife TV and Organifi). Drew recounts a traumatic childhood, his transformation via green-juice-centered rituals and social-media coaching (2010–2012), growth to millions of followers and launch of Organifi (~7 years before recording). He describes Organifi product choices (clinical-dose KSM-66 ashwagandha 600 mg reported, matcha/L-theanine, spirulina, chlorella, beet/lemon for nitric oxide), claims a 29% cortisol reduction in clinicals, and emphasizes glyphosate-free sourcing for products. He discusses glyphosate as an antibiotic-like herbicide that may disrupt the gut and links it to rising neurological and fertility concerns; recommends binders (zeolite, chlorella, activated charcoal), sweating/sauna, skin brushing, salt and mineral replenishment, and avoiding contaminated foods. Drew outlines detailed morning and nighttime biohacks (sun-gazing, ocean grounding, sungazing practices, breathwork, alternate nostril breathing, HRV-targeted audio with reported ~32% HRV improvement, early bedtime and waking, daily gratitude and outreach). He also raises EMF concerns and cites Arthur Firstenberg's 'The Invisible Rainbow' as a reference. The tone mixes personal testimony, product advocacy, and biohacking activism.

I close the circuit by putting my tongue on the roof of my mouth. And then I'm barefoot and I'm doing deep nitric oxide alternate psychically. I'm doing alternate nostril breathing, which is a yogic practice. And then I'll go through another yoga practice where you clench your mulabandra, where you squeeze the cerebral spinal fluid up to the pineal gland to create almost like a DMT trip experience from the luminous rays of the sun. I'm not on any drugs. I've never done mushrooms or acid or LSD or any ayahuasca or any of this stuff. I've just. I have an affinity for using this multi dimensional suit.
Right, what is up, everybody? Welcome to the Neuro Experience podcast. It's Louisa. I am the host. Guys, if you celebrated Passover on the weekend, if you celebrated Easter, I hope you all had an awesome weekend. I'm excited for Easter this weekend. I'm Greek Orthodox, so I'll be celebrating this weekend. I woke up with so much energy this morning. Okay. And excitement and I want to tell you why. So over the weekend I was speaking with one of my good friends who is an ent, so she's an md and she's just obsessed with food and what it does to us. And she said something remarkable. She said, louisa, isn't it crazy to think that all this food that we're about to consume is going to be our cells in the next 90 days? And I just looked at her and I thought, what? And she said, yes. With every bite of food that we take, we are literally investing it into what our body will become. Every food that we eat and everything that we consume literally becomes our cells. And what are we made out of? We have cells and so we literally become what we eat. And that was so. That was just so mind boggling to me. Which brings me to today's episode. Because if you want to know the key to transforming your body and improving your mental performance through nutrition, then you must stay tuned because you're going to enjoy today's episode. It features Drew Canoli who has not only transformed his life lives of countless individuals who wanted a total body transformation. So, guys, Drew Canoli is the founder of FitLife TV and the supplement company Organifi, which has an incredible lineup of products that includes superfood blends, protein powders, turmeric and probiotics and much more. If you follow me on social media, you probably saw that I was mixing up a green drink on the weekend. You know, I need to. I live such A busy life and I need to get all of my nutrients and probiotics all on the go. So I've always consumed greens powders, but something was never right. Every time I drunk a greens powder or a green drink, I always felt like it tasted like grass, you know, or like it tasted like dirt. And then when I got a hold of organifi, they have a green powder that actually is infused with apple, so it literally tastes like apple. So I was mixing that on the weekend and I have to tell you, it's changed my life. So we're going to learn all about that. We're going to learn about organifi, we're going to learn about Drew's book. He's the author of you Be you. Detox your life, crush your limitations and own your awesome. We're also going to go into Drew's story about Drew being born into an abusive home, how he was chasing money and then he had to change his environment so he could change his life. We're going to learn about the origin of FitLife TV. We're going to talk about Drew's first glass of green juice. We're going to talk about micronutrients, where they are, where they come from, and we're going to talk about what is in these magical organifi products. Guys, it's a jam packed episode. I'm excited. We also go into my favorite topics in biohacking, such as sunlight, morning routines, night routines, and much more. So without further delay, let's get into the episode. Welcome to the new Experience podcast where you will learn the science of human performance and optimization.
Well, why don't we start from the start? Drew Canoli. Why don't we start from the start? You're. You. You built Organifi in 2010, is that correct?
2010, I started FitLife TV. So you saw me on YouTube. I was one of the first influencers on social media back in the day, making Juicy my kitchen. And it started with my own trials and tribulations. Long story short, you know, I was a kid. I grew up, I was tortured as a child. So lots of post traumatic stress syndrome growing up. Lots of trauma in the brain, lots of neurobiology that was off labeled as add, adhd. Emotionally challenged, in fact, so much so that the adoption agency told my parents, they're like, hey, you probably don't want these. This kid and my sister at the time because he's so emotionally damaged. It's going to be hard to raise these kids and have them turn out to be, you know, like normal humans. And this is zero.
Oh. So when you say tortured, you mean emotionally?
Emotionally, physically and sexually. So all I like to say, I was born into hell. And I, I understood at a very young age how to control my surroundings out of fear of death, you know, out of fear of being cut, cigarettes put on my forehead, you know, thrown on sidewalks, water submerged in. So like imagine as a 4 year old. Like the files on this are pretty grotesque. It was actually the worst case in like the 1980s in Cadillac, Michigan, where I'm from, of torture in Cadillac, Michigan. Crazy. So my own dad would hold my head underneath the water and he'd pull me up, but if I couldn't breathe, he'd shove me back under. And long story short, and I'm not saying this to get sympathy, I'm not trying to evoke an empathic response from your listeners or you. I think it's purely teaching. It's something that I've learned how to control and manage and anybody can, regardless of situation, regardless of circumstance. You have a miracle meat suit or multi dimensional suit, as I like to say. And given the right tools, especially with what you're doing with the mind stuff, you can heal from anything. And I'm living proof of that.
Hey guys, I have to cut in here. I hope you are loving the episode so far. If you've got a busy schedule, it can be really hard to get all your nutrients on the go. Now, even if you had the time to juice vegetables or eat massive salads, you might not love the taste of dark leafy greens. Now, as we all know, as Drew has stated, a lack of nutrition can lead to low energy, bad moods and all sorts of long term issues. Now, Drew and his Wonderful team at Organifi have gifted us a 20% off anything on the store. So if you've listened to the episode so far and you're like, you know what, I need to try this, you can go over to www.organifi.com neuro and use my code, NEURO to receive 20% off anything on that website. And just as an FYI and a disclaimer, I am currently drinking the apple green juice. You will absolutely love it. And it does not taste like grass. It does not taste like dirt. Go ahead and give it a go. This episode is also sponsored by eight Sleep, the number one sleep fitness technology company. If you want to learn how to optimize your sleep, go and check out 8 Sleep. Where did you start to, you know, turn your life around and think okay, well I want to, I want to get on track with health. Like what, what was the turning point? What were you like in your teens?
Yeah, so lots of. I always felt alone and I would self sabotage a lot. I know you have an episode of that where would use food neurochemically to comfort myself. I didn't know that I was spiking my dopamine up and these other neurotransmitters. I was promiscuous as a young man too. And I had a big mama wound because mama abandoned Drew as well. So I was trying to fill that void as well. Mom, dad, wounds, you name it. So I grew up trying to prove myself to the world that I was more than enough that I had that I was successful. I would work arguably I would work 15, 16 hours a day beating my head into the wall until I got results. Only to go out and buy things that I thought this material world would reward me for. And it was all right. So it. But it took me learning that in order to wake up truly from it and really start to heal my body. So long story short, 45 pounds overweight, fluctuating between 35 and 45. Flashback 11 years ago I was running a credit and debt settlement company in Tampa, Florida. Chasing money, right? And it just would run away from me because until I started chasing change, true change in people transformation. It was a fleeting end. And I had a mentor that I would sit down with every day. Frank was his name. And he's still around today. He's like one of my best friends. He's like 85 years old and he's just so sharp, so crystal clear. And we would, we would meditate, we would look at scripture, different books that would fill our spirits up as well. And he said, if you do anything, Drew, at all, make sure you impact at least one person a day for the rest of your life. And your life will be so full that it'll be unimaginable who you become in the next 10 to 20 years. And I sat on that for like a week. And I had heard that before, you know, very. At various times in my life, but I never really listened to it. It was like one of those epiphanies, one of those aha moments that we have. And sure enough, in. In about two weeks, I'm like, you know what? I'm gonna try something. I'm gonna buy an HD flip cam, you know, one of those little cameras that you plug into your computer, and I'm gonna record myself working out, making a juice, transforming my life. I'm gonna take a before and after picture every single day for the next 90 days. I'm going to work out, going to share that with the people, make a smoothie or a juice, share my nutrition, post pictures of my diet, everything else. And I did that on YouTube. And sure enough, over time, you know, in the beginning, I was getting like 12 views on my video. But over time, we built a community of about 7 million people.
And wait, what year was this?
This was way back in 2011, 2012. And we had educational courses and stuff that I sold as an entrepreneur online to help people transform. But then over time, I just fell in love with seeing people change and being a catalyst for them to change. I was a high end transformation coach where I'd fly into people's homes, spend an entire two days with them, rip apart their kitchen, show them what to eat, do a genetic test, look at their genes. You know, genes aren't the end of who you are, but it certainly helps to understand what your multidimensional suit is capable of. We'd look at blood, we'd do all this stuff. And I had a team of experts, like a panel of experts that I actually contracted out to help with some of the stuff that I didn't know because I wasn't a doctor, I wasn't even a personal trainer back then, But I just had this affinity to help people transform. And then one after another, you know, I helped about 17 people one on one for the first year. And then it turned into this whole movement of people drinking copious amounts of green juice, transforming their life, working out. We had thousands of before and after pictures coming in every single year of people changing. And that, that launched organifi about seven years ago, we launched Organifi because we wanted to be the first company ever to have glyphosate residue free, organic, usda, you know, vegan, soy free, gluten free, all the free things, as you know, that are so rampant in the world today.
What do you think the relationship is between trauma and the foods that we're ingesting? Obviously, when you're having this massive transformation, it wasn't just because you were losing weight and you were feeling, you know, energetic and, you know, that created flow and momentum. Do you think, also because I can only, you know, speculate, that during your teens and earlier years, you weren't eating fresh foods and you weren't on this, you know, do you think when you started to change your life around and you were drinking these juices and living a better life, it had a. A direct correlation on your mental state, your emotions, how you felt, 100%.
And at that time, I didn't love Drew. So I would abuse myself for the love that I never received from mom and dad, and I would eat foods that didn't love me back, and they would impact my body. And when I started pouring more self love, self rituals, morning rituals, the things that you talk about in my life.
That is when I truly started to eat the food that would love my body back. And that's when I changed my microbiome. I started to cut sugar, dairy, wheat, gluten, all these things. And my mind kicked on. It was like another level, another power. I wrote like 12 books in a period of like six years. It was like this. Trauma is the fuel, untapped fuel source that we have in our body. And when we use it to create, when we use it to come alive, essentially, I believe we're unstoppable. The people that have been tortured the most in. In their lives, those are the people that you got to watch out for, because they know, and a lot of people are going through it.
So you started with what was the very first product that you guys created with Organifi.
Yeah. So I launched a Facebook page called Juicing Vegetables, right? And we got like 2 1/2 million followers back in the day pretty quickly. And we're just posting recipes, helping people drink green juice primarily, you know, way back then, collard greens, celery, lemon, ginger, all the good things. And people were drinking green juice every day. And I was like, how can we make green juice better? How can we make it easier? How can we make it less cleanup? Because going to the store, shopping, chopping, cleaning, all that Stuff, it adds up, takes time. People are time starved more than they're actually nutrient starved right now. So how can we help manage time starvation? And that's when I looked at ancient Chinese mushrooms. We looked at, we looked at ayurvedic technologies, like into Ashwagandha. That was huge. Seven years ago. I'm like, all right, we got to put Ashwagandha in here. And if you don't know what, you know what Ashwagandha is. But if you're listening to this, Ashwagandha is, I believe, mother nature's greatest stress reliever that there is. And in the clinicals that we have with Ashwagandha, we've shown a 29% decrease in cortisol stress serum, which is massive. So imagine feeling 29% lighter every single day without your stress in overdrive. And that's what Ashwagandha does. We added matcha for the L Theanine. The neurocognitive benefits that we get from that amazing miracle amino.
When you talk about cortisol, it's like this hormone that everybody wants to know about. Everyone's like, I don't want too much cortisol, but it's like, well, you know, cortisol is. If you don't have, I call it the Goldilocks molecule. If you don't have enough of it, that's bad. If you have too much, then it leads to chronic inflammation. So that's bad as well. It's like, how can we get it to a state of homeostasis and just balance it out, you know, like at the right times. And Ashwagandha is one is something that you're obviously ingesting for times of high stress. Whether that's mental, emotional, physical. All three.
Yeah, 100%. And we were the first ever to put Ashwagandha in our green juice. Not just any Ashwagandha, but KSM and the clinical dose, so 600 mil, which has actually been shown to do this. So we lower stress. What else happens? Body weight management becomes easier. What we, what we were shocked by, and it doesn't surprise me, is that in the clinicals, it actually improves mood. So, well, being a general sense of well being, it's like meditation in a cup. And we also added spirulina chlorella, which are so good now with all of the electromagnetic frequencies that are around us. EMFs, 5G, like, that's all another conversation.
We won't go down that rabbit hole. But it's super, it's super helpful. We put lemon and beet juice extract in there for the nitric oxide that you get. And it was really, you know, 11 powerful ingredients, clinical doses, not 75 ingredients with a little kitchen dust sprinkle here and there. That doesn't really do anything but make more expensive pee is what I like to say. You know, you probably heard that before, but it really helped a lot of people and it's still helping a lot of people. Millions to be exact. I mean it's, it's incredible to see some of the testimonials on Amazon and in these other places on our website and such. So.
Well, now you've got such a wide, such a wide range of products. My. So I've always wondered about glyphosate. You know, I'm seeing it come up so often in the literature, I'm seeing it all over social media. I actually just saw, I think it was a podcast and it was from a. He's a dentist, a general dentist, but he was talking about glyphosate in food and how that's killing us. And it's just so I'd love to like get to the bottom of what glyphosate is, why it's bad for us and how we can start to manage, manage this. Because I believe it's like in almost everything that we eat, right?
100. Yeah, it's. And almost everything. It's really hard to get glyphosate free, which we spent years getting that glyphosate free residue, glyphosate residue free cert on our organifi products. The reason for it is, I believe in America alone, don't quote me on this, it's about £4 billion. Pesticides, namely glyphosate herbicides, fungicides, all this is sprayed on our crops, right? And their purpose for glyphosate is actually to encourage pests, insects not to eat the food to keep them away. So to grow a bigger yield of crops. So now you got genetically modified seeds, you got glyphosate roundup that's sprayed on it now there's a new name for it.
And what that does is it actually, it's an antibiotic. And if you've ever studied micro gut biome, one of the worst things for your gut is actually antibiotics because it not only destroys the bad bacteria in your gut, the bugs, but also the bad ones, also the good ones. Right? So the more it does that, the more glyphosate residue we consume, the more it disrupts our gut. We now we know that the gut is the second brain, we can call it. I actually think it's the first brain. I think the gut is so intuitive. The liver. Don't get me started on the liver too. Like, it's amazing how these, these things in our body are so incredible and if you just give it the right resources and tools, you can literally change your life, heal anything. It's. It's a remarkable, A remarkable thing. But all this glyphosate has disrupt guts. We're seeing autism on the rise. We're seeing all these neurological disorders, ADD's running rampant, lots of fertility issues happening nowadays as well. And it's all. We're destroying the environment as above, so below. Not only in our guts, but outside. Right. So that's happening to us. And yeah, there's, there's some ways to help remedy and get it out of. Out of our bodies. If that's helpful for the audience as well. I can talk a little bit about that.
No, I'd love that. I think something that a lot of us are consuming. I'm one of these people is I, I do have morning oats and I believe that the oats are rampant in glyphosate.
Yeah, you definitely want to make sure you're getting glyphosate free oats.
Okay. I didn't even know that existed. So is it just. What do I go to Whole Foods and get glyphosate free?
You may be able to order it. It's probably like a custom order thing on Amazon or you know, another website. You're in New York, right? You should, you. I think you could probably find them there. But it's absolutely in everything. Corn is a big defender as well. So yeah, try to stay away from that. I get sprouted glyphosate residue free popcorn kernels because that's like my snack sometimes is a little, you know, popcorn. Guilty pleasure.
So what do I do to go through and eliminate if I've. If I'm probably one of those people who have been. Has consumed so much of it.
Yeah, I think zeolite is one of the best things for that. It helps break apart those molecules. Flushing it out of your body, obviously. Sweating, sitting in a sauna. You've probably talked about that in the past. Hot and cold plunge, getting the lymphatic system going. Skin brushing is another mechanism that we can use. I like red light as well. I believe chlorella helps detox or some other binder. Activated charcoal. Chlorella. That's an organifi. Super helpful for that as well. And yeah, zeolite's the big one. I'd say she legit any form of volcanic ash mineral.
Drinking salt is probably helpful. Replenishing your minerals, helping you flush that out. You've talked about all this stuff, I'm sure your audience knows, but that those would be the big things that you can do. And most of all, stop eating it. Like that's the big thing. Now they have genetically mosquitoes. They just came out with a patent on genetically modified cows. I don't know if you saw that. The FDA just approved it. So I think they're trying to make humans genetically modified. What do you think?
Yeah, it's. It's becoming scary. But look, in honest truth, I'm from Australia. You know, I moved to the United States in 2016, 2017, and I had where. Where we're different in Australia. Like I think, and I don't quote me on this, but I always think that the food is cleaner, fresher. And something that I found when I came to America is I wasn't able to eat the meat here. It took me around, I would say a year to be able to start consuming red meat specifically and the eggs. I always have a problem. I go back to Australia for like three months a year, and then I have to, you know, I have to adjust to the food there. It's like my stomach is just goes back and forth, back and forth. And I've always wondered why.
That's interesting. Yeah, they're so much GMO crops that that's probably disrupting your gut. Yeah. If you want to have a little trip, use Brave or like another explorer that's off of Google private browser and look up some of the experiments with genetically modified food, like on mice and stuff. It's pretty grotesque. Prepare yourself. But that, that's a wake up call.
So you haven't prescribed to any particular diet. So you're not part of the carnivore or the vegans. You're just, you're everything.
I'm on the you diet because I think we're all different. I think whatever. I think diets die. You know, even the root word and diets. I think there's a lot of fads out there. Fad diets. Last I was around when the Atkins diet started or keto today sounds very similar to that. I think whatever works for you. I like looking at ancestry like in a human being and like understanding what maybe their indigenous ancestors actually had, which created their whole internal mechanism for processing and digesting food. I'm big into.
You know, really, really researching that and removing anything that's not simple. If it's got more than five ingredients, I'm probably not eating it. And it's nothing that I would recommend to anybody else. So eating lots of fresh veggies, primarily cooked vegetables for me, seems to do better, unless I juice it in the morning or what have you. And then wild caught fish, organic meats, making sure my diet's loaded with omegas, lots of micronutrients. I'm just stacking micronutrients all day to help with the ans as well. And yeah, I feel great. Tons of energy eating this way. I don't have any crashes, thankfully, because I still drink probably a little bit more coffee than I should some days when I got a lot of work to do.
But that helps.
So at the start of the podcast, you said, I feel amazing. I've done. Or maybe we're offline and you said, I feel amazing. I did my morning routine. Uh, I want to talk about what your. What your ideal morning routine is and how you start your day.
Yeah, so the ideal morning routine starts the night before. For me, it's big into moving any type of light dysfunction that's in the room because every cell in our body has a luminous connection to the light that's around us. And what I mean by that is obviously a completely dark room. I like to basically sleep in an isolation tank. So I get rid of all, all of that pitch black, 64 degrees, super cold. Before I go to bed, I'm writing what I'm grateful for. And I'm also doing some vagus nervous vagal toning. So just breathing in.
Feeling it in the body, putting my hands. Another vagus nerve exercise that I like to do before I go to bed is I put my hands like this behind my head, and then I roll my head to one side. I'll put my index finger right on my atlas, and then I just allow that fluid to transfer. You know, the vagus fluid that really helps drop me into an autonomic state where my body can heal. And I also listen to an audio before I go to bed. This is pretty cool that I've tested energy, tested my HRV to it at the same time. And it's my. What I would like to call my primordial sound. It's the sound that I heard before I came into the meat suit. And it's. It's literally when I list, when I hear this one note with five octaves around it. I've seen a dramatic probably 32% increase in my HRV.
Wait, is this a, is this a binaural beats?
It's not a binaural beat. I went over my friends, I got a bunch of geeky friends. I'm a geek too, Donna. And we, we were testing this with just different sounds and we would hook ourselves up to a lifetime HRV system and then we grabbed the music that was best for our body and our soul and then we would play it over time. And yeah, the doctor that I, I worked with in this dear friend Stacey Davidson over in Sedona really helped me get this. And since I was listening to that, I, I had a lot of like nightmares when I first started doing this. But then those started to shift away and now it's more of like a DMT experience at night. And then I, I reflect on the day, I look over where I could have adjusted my mood. You know, I saw some videos that you posted of athletes, like freaking out on referees and judges and stuff like that. And it's all mindset. I love that because when you're competitive and you're so high strung, sometimes your biology takes over your mind and you have to have like a five year old tantrum. And those videos that you have on your Instagram pointed out so eloquently, but one I learned in the Yucatan jungle. I was there for like a month hanging out with this medicine woman. She was like 4 foot 8 and she was like, Andres, she's like, you need to not judge yourself so much. And I'm like, what do you mean? She's like, well, before you go to bed at night now, I want you to. That's. She talked like that, but not really. I'm just, I'm like trying to embody her, you know, remembering the moment. Beautiful soul though. This woman changed my life. She said, I want you to fly over your day like you're an eagle. And as soon as you judge yourself, I want you to stop and then start over the next day. So until you can get to a day of non judgment where you're kind on yourself, where your heart's open before you go to bed, she's like, then you still have a lot of work to do.
So that exercise changed my life. So doing that in non judgment makes us more aware throughout the day too. And we can basically hug ourselves all day long. It's like a invisible hug. So those are some of the things I do before I go to bed. Sometimes I'll cold plunge depending on intuitively how I'm feeling and whatnot. But I've been able to get like 100% recovery almost every night. And I know you're a big eight sleep person, right? So they track HRV and everything else. Badass company.
I was actually going to ask what your, what your primary tool is for tracking and measuring your sleep and your hrv. Are you using a whoop?
Yeah, I got the whoop on now.
But I've used the aura. I like the aura ring too.
Yeah, it's. I've got some clients who are just. Every morning they wake up and they build their life on HRV and it's like, you know what? It's. The tool is great. And you know, I get up every morning, I look at all of my data and I'm like, okay, this is amazing. But it's like, well, I've got to learn from it. Like I, you know, on Monday, or actually it was on the weekend I woke up, my HRV was lower than usual and I still went. I put this on social media, I still went and did such a hard workout. I tried CrossFit for the first time. I'm in my early 30s, I'm not a spring chicken, as in when I was 21 and I could do new things and not almost die. And I pulled something around C5, C6. I was out of action. Today's Wednesday and I'm just able to literally lift my arm up. So it's like, well, I've got to listen to my body. Sometimes I really have to listen to that HRV and. Or not just not even listen to the metric. Like just listen to myself and think, Louisa, today you don't have to go and kill yourself in the gym.
100. It's hard not to like, you become so addicted to the endorphins and everything that we get out of it. Especially with CrossFit. You know, you go, go to the gym, you're competing, you want to do your best and then all of a sudden you're, you're sore for 10 days or whatever. So got to take it easy. Your body.
So, okay, so that's your nighttime routine. Are you falling asleep at. So at Neuro athletics we say lights out at 10pm do you have a specific bedtime?
I am like the ARP guy going to bed. Senior citizen hours. I'd say the goal is like 7:30, 8 o' clock in full transparency. But I'm also. I like waking up what they call during the witching hour for my morning ritual. So we just went over the night. Rich ritual. I like waking up super Early I feel like I have an invisible line of access that has more information coming to me. Almost like an upside down Kundalini tree or the tree of life. It's like coming in like that. And that's the magic hour. So getting up at 4, sometimes 3:30 and just sitting and then whatever comes, comes. I'm like waiting for it. And that's the first part of my morning ritual.
Meditating.
Okay, you're in LA, close.
I'm about an hour outside LA in Oceanside. Hour and 20 minutes depending on how fast you drive. So.
Yeah, so that's the first part of my morning ritual. And then I gratitude. So I write down all the things I'm grateful for. I've been jumping in the ocean every day here and that's been absolutely incredible. Getting all that electric currency from the earth into the body. Grounding of course is massive. To start the day. I'm also a big sungazer. So I went over to an astronom in the south of France under Mikhail Ivanhoe Omron Ivanhoff and it was super powerful to see 75, 80 people gathered every morning during a sun rise and literally to stare into the sun. There's so many light codes, so much information coming off the sun that literally feed your electric body, your prana, whatever you want to call it, your life force. Doing a little qigong after that is the goal. So watching the sun come up, doing qigong and doing some breath work, getting in a calm state always for me, breathing out longer than I'm breathing in so that I get more of the parasympathetic activation because I'm high strung enough, I'm go, go, go, go, go all day long every day. And then I reach out to three people. I've done this for years that I love that I want to shower with gratitude. And it's three different people every day. I started writing handwritten letters and then I would put a wax stamp on it.
And then I, I would text and then I've sent video, you know, send them a 30 second video. Hey, I just wanted to send you this, let you know how awesome you are. So that's powerful for the community thing, you know, the blue zone as it is. Then I work out in the morning, either strength and conditioning or I'll go to the gym or I'll do a, a little yoga or qigong, like that kind of stuff. But that really sets my day up. It's like you said in one of your posts and I've been saying that for a while. It's like, how you start your day is how you start your life.
I want to go back to where you visited for, you know, this sunrise protocol because we speak about this so often on the podcast. I actually did a podcast dedicated to sunlight as medicine, and I'm huge on it. Activating circadian rhythm. We're huge on sleep physiology. So talk to me about this, because it's also about. You mentioned sunrise. So you're not going and staring at it at 12pm where the solar angle is, you know, directly above our head, because there's different light waves from, you know, that the sun emits, you know, when it's rising to when it's above our head or when it's, you know, 45 degree angle. And so I really love. I really love this.
Yeah, it's. It's a practice. I'm grounded, first of all. At least my left foot's on the ground barefoot, because that's the receiver. So I'm grabbing the electrical current from the earth and then I'm. I'm like staring into the sun. And I don't recommend anybody do this because I'm not an eye doctor. I need a medical disclaimer on this, so I'll state it as this. What works for me is to look directly into the sun as it first comes up for about 15, 20 minutes. I built this into my practice. In the beginning, it would only be like 15, 20 seconds because you're just not used to it. The human eyes aren't conditioned to it. Bless you. And I would have tears coming out of my eyes in the beginning.
Right.
One of the greatest detox pathways we have is actually tear ducts. So I'd have this coming out. A lot of mucus in my body was leaving. And then the more I cut the mucus out, the more I started to notice that I was able to look into the sun longer. And now I've gotten to the point where I can look into the sun and tilt my head back, which is a little bit harder to do because it's filtering in going into your pineal gland, which actually helps you decalcify your pineal gland.
So. And I close the circuit by putting the. My tongue on the roof of my mouth. And then I'm barefoot and I'm doing deep nitric oxide. Alternate psychically. I'm doing alternate nostril breathing, which is a yogic practice. And then I'll go through another yoga practice where you clench your mulabandra, where you squeeze the cerebral spinal fluid up to the pineal gland. To create almost like a DMT trip experience from the luminous rays of the sun. I'm not on any drugs. I've never done mushrooms or acid or LSD or any ayahuasca or any of this stuff. I've just, I have an affinity for using this multi dimensional suit, right. So I do this sun gazing and literally it's as if mother nature opens up, a hummingbird will like fly up to you and time stops itself and slows down and then you see like all the aspects of it, literally, like you're tripping when you start doing this sun gazing exercise. I love it. I'm a huge advocate of it. I try to do it as much possible. There's some mornings when I miss it and I absolutely feel when I miss it. It helps me remedy inflammation in my body, clears up any brain fog that I have, helps me be more present when I'm eye gazing another human being or I'm trying to see answers of what we're searching for with ideas or innovation at organifi. It's truly a missing, a missing, you know, solar medicine. It is, I mean, it's one of the greatest medicine we have, but we've been taught to be afraid of it. You know, put this lotion on your body to block yourself from the sun. Like, come on.
Have you ever, have you ever spoken with Ben Greenfield?
Yeah, Ben's a good buddy. He's. You guys would jive. Yeah, Ben's, Ben's in my field for sure. He's a good dude. He is like 60 story building of information and he has access to like every floor all the time. And it's like so, so inspiring to see somebody just hold all that information. Powerful, powerful human.
He's the only guy that I think on Instagram who, whenever I see his photos, I can see every fiber, not just every muscle group. I can see every fiber of that muscle group. And I'm like, how am I seeing this? Like his deltoid. I'm seeing all of the tiny little fibers. I'm like, oh my God, this.
Yeah, he's intense. In the absolute possible.
Okay, so something that, you know, I'm, I also want to get to the bottom of and we have a lot of listeners reaching out is this whole EMF thing, you know, electromagnetic frequencies. I get asked about this often. Right now I'm wearing Apple AirPods, which I believe have more EMF EMFs than your average headphones. And so that's, you know, I, I haven't heard of much about this yet. I haven't even researched it that much, but I'm interested in it, and you've brought it up twice in the podcast, so I wanted to get your take.
Yeah. By the way, there's nothing to be afraid of, right? The moment we give ourselves to feed, like, it's pretty scary to see the EMF reader go off by these Apple pods on these Instagram. You're just swiping through, and then you can freak out, and it's like, well, I'm never gonna wear AirPods again. You know, it's like, what do you choose to do? How can you have the comforts of the 20th century without being a victim to all the fear that's. That's everywhere? So for me, I think raising your own personal, individual frequency is always more important, because you could put anything in my field, and as long as I'm vibrating in that love, space, or peace, serenity, joy, these things, your. Your multidimensional suit's not going to be compromised. So there's that. First, always know that you're a sovereign human being, that you have the light force inside of you, even in one mitochondrial cell of your body is the power of the sun. Right. So are AirPods really gonna make a difference when you come from that place, knowing that God is within you? Right. Heaven is within you. Second to that, it's good to be vigilant and have your eyes open. You don't want to be asleep, because there is a lot of stuff in this world that could be damaging your electrical current. We're electrical beings, right? We're frequency. There's a great book by Arthur Fishberg called the Invisible Rainbow. I encourage everybody to read it, especially if you're a biohacker, you're into this kind of stuff, you freak out. The book's probably this thick. Arthur Fistenberg, and literally, he breaks down every single introduction into new frequencies that have entered our environment. He starts in 1930, when the Spanish flu actually broke out. And he relates it to the first time that we had ever had radio communication in that. In the war back then. Right. So he documented where it started and then what happened. Based on the documented start date. Right. This is one of the books. If there's 10 books that are going to be outlawed, if they do the whole, hey, you can't learn anymore. You need to just take what we're teaching you. Like, which is a very real eminent thing, you know, you see? Viva vendetta and all these things that are happening.
They did that with 48 laws of power in jails. They weren't allowed to read Robert Green's book 48 Laws of Power in Jail, which I think is quite interesting.
Yeah. And he related it very, very well to even like 3G, 4G. All the other radio, telecoms and you know, Internet and all these other things based on the, the diseases and the dysfunctions that were actually happening to humans on the planet during that time. So. And he's got all this scientific backed research, which I love because you want to see the science and the data on it, or data geeks, data geeks data, however you want to say it, potato, potato. And nonetheless.
Yeah, it's, it's interesting what's happened over the past two years. Right. And what's been rolled out. We'll just say that I don't have to get into specifics, but I think there's a direct connection between our electric body, our electromagnetic field in the frequencies that are constantly bombarding it. You can see that. I mean, I've had friends that have had a, A five.
You know, Internet. I won't say it because we'll probably get censored on podcast now. But anyway, they've, all of a sudden they get like Lyme's disease type syndromes, Ms. type stuff starts popping up, DNA starts fragmenting. You can see it turns out the cell phone thing was like right next to their bed on the other side of their house. They move and already they start healing. I've seen that time and time again, especially with young ones. Kids are much more impressionable than adults are with this stuff. So little Tommy comes down with something all of a sudden. He's been to the hospital 15 times in the past three months. Parents move, he finally starts to heal. So we have to be conscious of what's in our environment, the environment of our house, the environment of our mind, our bodies. And those electromagnetic frequencies, as much as they are useful for a lot of the accommodations that we enjoy. Right. They can be absolutely detrimental if they're not structured in a certain way, that the human body is not getting constantly bombarded by it. And there are ways to do that.
This, this thesis that you live by. Do you think that, you know, the way you live, do you ever get kickback from any like society? Do you ever hear people say, oh, no, Drew, what you're saying is absolutely is manic. You're crazy. Do you ever find that people, I guess, you know, comment on the way that you live your life?
They do, you know, oftentimes. Like the conspiracy theorist guy, the guy.
I think eventually you just stop caring what People think and it takes a long time. And I'm 41 years old now and I've lived most of my life caring so much about what others think that I haven't really become the authentic full version of who I am. That scares me even more. Having lived a life not being you because you're so worried about what other people think. So you put on all these boxes and these different things. Requirements to appease people. Yeah, screw that. I'd rather die alone and not have any friends and be the real Drew than to have to. People, please and go through my life trying to be like everybody else. All these cookie cutter people, which is what the vast majority of people are. Unfortunately. Nobody really has their own thought forms or their own ideas anymore. And that saddens me.
Yeah, I always, you know, I say to my athletes, so when somebody comes to neuro athletics, we work really in three domains and we believe that these domains are, you know, the epitome of peak performance and they are the cognitive domain. So it's everything neurological. Then there's the nutritional domain and then there's the exercise domain. So we work in these three domains and I always say, imagine yourself performing at a 10 out of 10 for each domain. The whatever happens to you on a daily basis, no matter what happens, no matter if someone has a bad comment, no matter if people are talking about you, no matter what's going to happen, you're going to feel in more control because you're, you know, you're performing well in these three domains. And that's how I look at life. I always think the foods that you eat, you know, whatever you're ingesting is going to help power you to become, you know, that bulletproof person that you need to be mentally, physically. The way you work out, like, you know, if you're doing weights, if you're strength training, you're going to feel stronger, you're going to feel better about yourself. If you're sleeping well, if your cognitive domain is intact, you're just going to feel like a better human.
Yeah, 100%. I love that. So when you have these athletes, you probably run them through some type of performance type of thing to test where they are in each one of those domains and then you give them exercises, things to do to impact an up level. Even just one area, like 15 to 20% improvement will impact every other area.
Yeah, it's crazy to see how much better people feel just in one domain. Louisa, you know, you got me sleeping at 10pm every night. I'm now waking up at 7am, I'm doing consistency. I feel a million times better. And that's literally one aspect of one domain and it makes them have better relationships. You know, the byproduct of all of this stuff, you know, even with organifi, you know, with what you're doing in the world, it's not, it's not just about, oh, here's the product and this is good for you. Doesn't have any glyphosate, it's organic, et cetera. It's like, have this every day or just have a ritual every day that you're kind to your body. I love what you said, by the way. You eat foods that are going to give you, you know, an roi. In other words, do this and you will be able to have a better relationship with your partner, with your kids, with your teammates. You'll be able to perform better. I like the byproduct of doing the hard work.
Yeah, I love that too. And we are the universe flipped inside out. So the better we feel, the more better feeling people will come into our experience.
So take such great care of ourselves. To avoid glyphosate residue, to eat organic food, to sun gaze, to, you know, be present with every single person we talk to, that's the greatest gift. Most people aren't even present.
So when you look somebody in the eyes and you ask them deep questions that maybe the average human wouldn't ask, you get to a different level and then all of a sudden it unlocks other aspects, not only in their life, but for you as well. And I think that's the magic of life.
So what's the future of Drew Canoli and Organifier? What about when you're 51? In 10 years, what's life going to be like?
You're probably still going to look the same. You're probably still going to look exactly the same.
I think.
We are in such a great place looking at the world right now with everything that's happening. There's a war on our food, there's an assault on the human bodies, but there are people that are bringing the light. And there's many companies likened to organifi that are out there.
That understand the miracle of the multi dimensional suit in the nutrients that we need to actually create a thriving body. So I'm interested in not only what we're creating now, but how can we get more clinical trials on this stuff, how can we get the data like into what we've done already, but just more of that because there's so much money in pharmaceuticals testing ads. I think 95% of what's on the TV is actually pharmaceutical money, which is insane, right? Like, just the indoctrination process alone. So I'd like to think of it as we are the Jedis, and we're, like, up against this huge thing. We're like the rebels because we're doing this. We're actually helping people, you know, And I'm a huge Star wars nerd, but I would love to see more of that being done. I'd love to see different delivery methods, which I'm really excited about. So how can we make it more bioavailable in the human body? We're testing different superfoods, different delivery pathways as well, and also different nutrients that we're testing currently. Of course, flavor is huge for us. And that was something like, we want people to love what we create so much. So, you know, even the green juice tastes like a minty matcha. Gold is our nighttime tea, which actually has turkey tail, reishi, turmeric, ginger, and it tastes like Autumn had a baby with a marshmallow. So that I'm really excited. And we're also doing flavor adaptions with the Gold. So we got a new one. There's a rumor of a new one coming that'll taste like a chai sweet chai tea. We'll actually have a little caffeine added to it, too, to help people that maybe want to come off so many stimulants. People are chronic addicted to drinking coffee all day. This would be a good matchup for them. We're working on a watermelon and a strawberry right now. But the lemonade one that we have with the baobab with the neuro factor in it, the coffee cherry has been shown to improve BDNF by like, 171% or something like that.
Well, I absolutely love that. I'm excited to get my hands on the watermelon flavor. I'm excited to get my hands on absolutely every product you have. You're absolutely incredible. Thank you so much for being part of the youe Experience podcast. I'm gonna send everybody to your Instagram page. I think that's where you hang out a lot. Do you hang out there more than Twitter?
I. I do. I don't do a lot on Twitter. Definitely Instagram. When I'm not shadow banned or censored from some of the stuff.
Which is happening. Yeah. I mean, you talk about immunity, natural immunity, and they, like, look at you. Like, we gotta get this person out of here.
Yeah, yeah, I've heard of that, but.
But nonetheless. Yeah, have them check out Organifi, too. We love you. I. I think there's a handful of people on the Organifi team that listen to your podcast actively.
