Drew Canole explores forgiveness as a path to healing, covering its psychological stages and how it improves mental and physical health. He shares personal stories, explains how to activate your parasympathetic nervous system, and offers practical exercises for letting go.
Have you ever been around somebody that just doesn't feel safe? Like there's something going on inside you don't quite know what it is. Like they got these internal demons that they're holding on to and you're wondering what they are and all of a sudden you become friends with this person and then they tell you that they got something in their past that they haven't let go of, that they haven't forgiven. So in this podcast, we're talking about the power of forgiveness, how letting go can change your life, how it can put more light in your central nervous system. We're going to get into exercises to increase your parasympathetic tone so that you emit and you transfer these delicious vibes. I am safe vibes everywhere you go. You're like the meme of the Native American woman playing the flute in the woods and she's got like 50 different animals gathered around her. You're going to feel like this when you implement this in your life and you really let go of some of the things that could be holding you back. And I'm excited, my friend, because I haven't done a personal podcast in a while, one on one. We've done a lot of interviews recently. Hopefully you enjoyed those. I didn't really post about it. I just let them do their thing on the app, on the podcast app on iTunes. And I got tons of messages of people that loved them. They were highlighting some of the past episodes that we've done over the last few weeks. So if you haven't listened to those, make sure you check those out. Super powerful stuff. We're getting into all things healing in those episodes. I know a lot of people had breakthroughs from them. And today we're talking about forgiveness. So first and foremost, I want to tell you a little bit about my personal story, how I turned forgiveness into my superpower. I've shared my personal story before, but I'm going to go into a little more depth. I've decided today. We're going to talk about the psychological stages of forgiveness, how maybe forgiveness can lead to a higher initiation to yourself, maybe a higher version of yourself. how it can open up your heart. Having more compassion for you can lead to maybe some supernatural gifts. I'll share with you some of the things that opened up in my life that are very interesting. So it's not scientifically backed and there's no empirical evidence to support any of this quantum realm type stuff. But what is science anyway? Do you really need science? I mean, who knows? So we're gonna get into that and then if we have time by the end of it, we're going to get into some things you can do to improve your parasympathetic tone, to help flush out some of the ice or the samskara, as it is said in Ayurvedic medicine, that can kind of build little icebergs in your body causing tension. We're going to discharge the tension, we're going to allow light to be animated in you even more so than it already is. Because if you listen to this, I know you're one of my people, you're already commanding the high vibe, you're already Entertaining these upper realms, you're already empowered by your life. You love living in all ways, always. And we're gonna get into that. So first things first. Why are you listening to me talk about forgiveness? Well, and how did I turn it into a superpower? Because it definitely wasn't when I was younger. But at a young age, I realized that, likened to the analogy, you don't forgive for the other person, you forgive for yourself. It's like holding on to that hot coal. We've all heard that analogy. You're actually burning yourself. Why don't you just let it go? And when I first came into the Earth experience, sound effects included, out of the womb, I was born into a family that was very much into escapism. Escapism in the way of drugs. They were young. They didn't know. And. they were doing copious amounts of heroin, cocaine, whatever drugs were big in the late or the 1980s. I am sure they were doing those. And I was privy to the environment and the space that they were creating within that infant structure, whatever that means. And they would, you know, abuse me. My dad tortured me as a kid, and let me preface this with saying, I'm not saying this to evoke any kind of emotional response. I don't need sadness or people messaging me saying, so sorry about your past, because it is in the past. And I've healed it. I'm using this specifically to relate to anybody out there that hasn't forgiven how powerful it can actually be. So that's the purpose and intention and my intent in this. So just know that if you have things that you need to let go of, let this story inspire you to do exactly that. So from zero to five, abused, tortured. If I couldn't tie my shoes fast enough, my dad would put cigarettes out on my forehead. I was left outside for weeks on end. They would slide my food out from a doggy door, and I would eat outside in the rain and the lightning. I would hide under the deck like a dog. It was scary. I was scared of lightning for the first. probably 10 years of my life, I had to be around somebody during lightning because it was like they were my protector. So, sister I saw get stabbed in the eye with a fork, thrown on sidewalk multiple times. Needless to say, it was one of the worst torture cases ever in the history of our small town, Cadillac, Michigan. And they wrote it in the newspapers way back then. and it changed my life. You know, it literally didn't happen to me. It happened for me. And that changes that one word, two to four, changes a lot in that statement. And that's exactly what happened to me. So all in all, at the age of five, you know, after going into preschool a few times, and the, the teachers were like, what is going on with his kids? Why is he, why has he got black and blue bruises all over his little body. They would call the state police and they would come to my house. The state police were there like every month. And then finally they told my dad, they're like, if you do anything else, we're going to take these kids away from you. And he lost it and abused my sister one time and they came in and took us away. We got put into another foster home at a young age where When you're indoctrinated with such teaching of that, of chaos, of unsafety, and you go into another house where there's eight other foster kids and you're sitting at the table ordering or asking for something at the table and you say, Hey, please pass the fucking potatoes because that's what you were taught as a kid. All of a sudden, you're taken from that table, brought into the bathroom, whipped with a belt or soap put into your mouth, I can tell you, On more than two hands how many times I had to eat soap because of the language that I was taught from my biological parents. A lot of fun at a young age, let me tell you. There was a lot going on back then. But again, it happened for me. I was finally adopted at about five and a half, six years old by my parents, Jeff and Connie, who are the most loving, sentient souls on planet Earth. My mom is an 11 life path if you know anything about that. She is a master. She's got so much love in her heart and she really was the catalyst in helping me heal, helping my sister heal as much as she could back then. But forgiveness creates two roads. It creates two timelines. When we forgive, we are all of a sudden ascended to a higher vibrational path. There's just more opportunity. And the quicker we do it, the quicker we divert to that other road. It's like the. The road less traveled, so to say, because a lot of people hold on to stuff. What's sad is seeing grown men, 50, 60 years old, not talk to family members that they've had grudges against for two decades. Like, where you and I are headed, my friend, there's no time for that on planet Earth right now. We need to let go of everything. Like Elsa says in the song. so totally healed me. Being adopted by my parents at a young age. I remember when it happened, I was praying every single night for typical kid stuff. Every single person in my family I would pray for the goldfish, the hamster that I had, toys. Of course, I had to pray for my ninja turtle castle or sewer, whatever it was. And then I would pray. one night that God forgive the man that abused me, my dad, you know, that tortured me as a kid. And I felt as if there was this invisible gold, luminous ray of light that just hit my heart. And I was able to let go of the pain and the resentment and the anger that was involved in this. And I was able to channel it, at least channel it more effectively than how I was back then. at the age of, like I said, five and a half, six years old. And it completely set me on a different trajectory. So if you haven't forgiven anybody in your life and you're still holding on to it, even if they're gone, I want to encourage you to forgive. And by doing that, you free yourself. So here's what it looks like from the psychological stages that we go through with forgiveness. and it can be probably broken down into five phases. The first one is to uncover what it is that you need to forgive and acknowledge that the person actually did you wrong. And it wasn't right. It wasn't right what my dad did. So it's normal to feel the feelings. You gotta feel the heal, anger, resentment, rage, sadness, pain, grief that I buried down, but can resurface during forgiveness, allowing it at space to just listen to it. You know, what do you have for me? Uncovering it. And then making a decision when we decide we cut off all other options, right? We make the conscious choice to forgive. And that's the next step. It requires the person that caused us harm to we really accept the reality of the situation. And this is a proactive choice that we make that can be incredibly empowering. I like to say trauma is fuel. so whoever caused you this pain, you forgive them. Like the Amish in 2006. Remember the mass shooting at the school? And the Amish actually forgave the perpetrator, but they also went to the house and they brought this person gifts and they just prayed with them in the courtroom or wherever it was. And they really did this next level of forgiveness that allowed the whole community to feel the healing. And I think when we do that, when we make the decision, it can be incredibly empowering. The next stage is to work on empathy of it. So for me, you know, why did my dad do that? Well, maybe he didn't have the best dad. His dad was an alcoholic. Maybe he was never there for him. Maybe nobody taught him how to have empathy towards other human beings. And maybe the drugs clouded misjudgment, because at the end of the day, I believe everybody's perfect. I think we show up on this planet and we get programmed or indoctrinated by a lot of stuff that's happening in the 3D, and then we get these demonic forces that can kind of form strongholds on our minds through lowering our vibration or whatever else. Maybe that happened to him, you know, and I can understand how that could happen to him. And I think in some way, shape or form, if there was another timeline in my soul is this infinite soul that I believe it is. is, well then maybe my dad came here to teach me forgiveness and he sacrificed the majority of his life to do that. I know it sounds crazy, but can we rationalize it? Can we come up with empathy in regards to that? And if he did that, well then, wow, thank you for teaching me forgiveness in this life at such a young age that maybe I wouldn't get before. And this opens up so much understanding in regards to the perpetrator that may have done something against you. It allows us to look at them with compassion and more importantly, look at ourselves with compassion. And who knows, maybe it isn't why, you know, maybe it's one of the beliefs that I formed later on is that we're all so connected. Maybe the persona of Drew is different than the persona of my dad that did this to me. But at the end of the day, if we're all connected and the only thing that separates us is the idea that we think we're separate, then maybe our souls are very similar and maybe I am the manifestation of the man that actually did this to me in some way, shape, or form. And I can get around that. I could see that if my life went completely in another direction, or I can have compassion for that side of the man that did this to me. I don't have to hold on to it. It doesn't mean that he was right in doing it. I'm not justifying those actions or the person that maybe raped you or They're not right in doing that. Obviously there's something really grotesque about it. But do you really need to have the feelings of anger or sadness or grief or shame for the rest of your life leaving them buried? How can we get you to experience a radical shift in feeling lighter in this? And then after we've uncovered it, we made the decision, we've worked on the empathy around it, Well, then what's the outcome? The final stage involves releasing the resentment and anger so that we can move forward with growth and grace so that we can accept it and move past the hurt. And the outcome stage can bring even more release that we've been carrying for all these years. And even if there's somebody's not in the physical plane anymore, I've done this in the past where I actually write them a letter and I forgive them and I go through empathy. I understand why you did this. Maybe it's this. And I would list out the ways in which I thought that maybe they did it and it allowed me to feel more peace. And then after the outcome, I think the fifth and final step after the empathy and the decision and uncovering is to really just Know that if anything resurfaces in the future, that's okay. But now you have a tool, you have a resource to work through it. Taking anger, sadness, rage, whatever the emotion is, and moving it up the emotional guidance scale. And tuning in often, because the more you know you, the more powerful you are, I believe in the universe, traveling through time and space, you have to know yourself, know thyself. It is as it has been said. It's like 2:45, I need my red juice. I'm starting to get a little sleepy on this podcast. But you can revisit it and that's okay. And there's also coaches and mentors and psychologists and tools that you can do to help you flush this out even more and feel more peace in your body. I believe forgiveness can lead us into this path of accessing supernatural gifts as well. I'll tell you a story. When I was probably four and a half, five years old, I would go to bed every night and I would wet the bed. I would see a monster in my dream and it scared the shit out of me. It looked like Sully in Monsters, Inc. At the time, I thought Sully was really scary, but now he's just this cute blue guy. But nonetheless, I'd get scared, right? I went to bed. And one night I woke up in the dream and I said, this isn't the monster in the dream. In fact, I'm dreaming. This isn't real. And I said, the monster is actually my dad. And I said, I'm going to love this monster. This is like at four and a half, five years old. And in the dream, the monster shrank and I held onto this monster and I pet it and I gave it love. and it started making like the cooing noises. And I realized that I could do that in the awakened dream, which is reality, right? When I woke up. So from that point, I looked at him and I said, you know what? You can't hurt me, regardless of how much pain you can put me through. It's just my physical vessel. It's not going to do anything. I would. In fact, there was many times when I was majorly dissociated from my body. I had this ability just to leave and go in my head because I didn't want to deal with what was happening right before me. Maybe you've had trauma or pain in the past like this and you find yourself getting dissociative often. That's okay. The more grounding practices I implemented in my life, throughout my life, the more I was able to actually deal with the stuff that I was burying in these closets. 20 feet deep in a cellar that I never wanted to look at. And when I started to look at all this stuff, it really started to transform my life in many ways. Like I said, trauma is fuel. So after waking up in that dream, every night I went to bed, I just had one focus in my life at a young age, and that was to wake up in the dream. And the more I woke up at night, the more I would wake up during the day, and it opened up these super natural gifts of almost predicting things before they would happen. I would start to put words in people's mouths before they would say it in the reality. And it was pretty cool because I realized that you and I, my friend, are living in a dream or Maya or the Matrix. It's all an illusion. And I know you know this. I know you've seen this. I know you'll be thinking about something and then all of a sudden a day later it pops up in your field or maybe even on your phone. The big thing now is you have an idea or a thought and all of a sudden it's on your Instagram. It's like, what is this? So it's your reticular activation system above your midbrain that causes your perception to create your reception. So the more you perceive something, the more you have awareness to perceive it, the more you receive. And that is the work. So waking up during the dream was one of the supernatural gifts that I had access to. And I would like to believe that when we have more compassion in our heart, when we forgive the people that have hurt us, when we have love and we act in love, it creates more of an energetic flow that attracts more positive energy in our life. And I believe, I look at positive energy as just divine intervention through synchronicities, through different things that I see. And according to the belief that I have, I think more often than not, guides will show up. I'll be walking down the street, I'll give 20 bucks to a homeless person, and all of a sudden they'll give me a business idea that I've been meditating on for the past four weeks. Or I'll think about somebody and they'll just reach out right away. And they're like, Hey, I have an idea for you. Or, I want to introduce you to somebody. And this has happened my whole entire life. It's like things just happen so quick when we're in this energetic state. But it takes getting clear in your body. It takes having more light in your central nervous system, experiencing inner peace and fulfillment on all levels. And what it looks like is extremely magnetic. It looks like things work out for you. It looks like things are easy. It's like rowing your boat downstream. It's not hard. When others are struggling, it's easy for you because you're able to forgive, forget, let go, and focus on the present moment with such enthusiasm that you're fun to be around. I think when we hold on to things with pain and resentment, it can create this anxious, ridden kind of rage monster. You know, when you meet somebody and they just got this underlining sense of rage in them. I know you have. I have too. So I think when we're more aligned with our spiritual selves or the higher aspect of what we are, the power that's animating us, when we're connected to God or the Lord or the universe, whatever you want to call it, there's more wholeness. You know, I think there's, for me, I identify with a lot of the Christ stuff, and I think when we can be the pencil in the hand of God or a vehicle or a vessel, for other people to heal and see what's possible. I think that's what makes life just so much more compelling. So we don't have to conform to science and believe that you need empirical evidence to support how forgiveness can open up pathways and connect you to supernatural realms of existence. But you and I can know that and we can experience it every single day. And we can see how the world starts to shift around us. and how things become easier in our life when we forgive, when we take the road less traveled. And I'm sure there's many real life examples of this, of how forgiveness changed somebody's life and all of a sudden they opened up these supernatural powers. They were able to heal different things. I mean, I was talking to a friend and they had something happen with their father and they were able to forgive them and all of a sudden they started meditating on this little boy that was sick in the hospital and this gold light They saw this little boy with this gold light and they felt so much peace and they started to feel like chi in their hands. And she told me the next day that that little boy's mom called and said, Hey, he's healed. He's out of the hospital. Like, what is that? What is that supernatural power that comes from forgiveness? And I'm living proof of it. I've seen miracles happen in my life because I was able to let go. not only let go, but also have appreciation and gratitude for my dad that did that. So much so, here's kind of a recap to that story. He was sentenced to three life sentences in prison. And I was 29 and I'm like, you know what? He's been in prison long enough. I haven't talked to him, but he deserves to be out. And I wonder how he's doing. so I sent him a letter. He wrote me this letter back. He said, I've been praying for you every single day. He's like, I know I made some mistakes in the past. And he's like, I've been talking to God and I just want you to have such a blessed life. And he hand-painted this card. It was probably one of the most beautiful cards I've ever seen. And he sent that to me, and I'm like, wow, he completely shifted his consciousness. And he deserves to be out. so I wrote a letter to the prison that he was in, and I said, hey, you gotta let this guy out. And long behold, long story short, six months later, he was actually let out of that prison, living his life. I think he was married again in somewhere in the world. I don't exactly know, but, yeah. Had I not forgiven him at such a young age and actually wanted to him to be released, he probably would have been in there for a very long time. Who knows? I don't know how prisons work or any of that stuff, but. I'm glad that he was able to live his life and he's still living his life somewhere. So if you're listening to this as the man who was my caretaker at a young age, thank you for that. Thank you for teaching me those lessons and helping me heal, helping me forgive, helping me let go and allowing me to tune in a little bit more effectively to what other people need on the planet at this time. You're a blessing. So, I think I need to meet with him and do like this John Carter episode where I like sit down with this guy. Not to videotape it or anything like that, but just to see how he's doing, hear him out. But also, we need to forgive ourselves. Sometimes the most important forgiveness is to oneself. and I think people that struggle with addiction, maybe they've had regretful past mistakes, or they simply treat themselves harsh. Most people's thoughts are like a trash can. You know what I'm talking about. It's like if we listen to the majority of people's thoughts, we would think that they are in their own self-induced prison. So we get to forgive ourselves, grow the mental health that we can have when we forgive ourselves. Ho ponoh ho ponoh ho ponoh. Right? It's I love you, please forgive me. Thank you. I'm sorry. I love you, please forgive me. Thank you. I'm sorry. If you look that up on Spotify or even iTunes, there's some beautiful renditions of Hapono, Hapono, Hapono. And the mantra will elevate you. It will change your life. Listen to that one song all day long one day and then see how much lighter you feel at the end of the day. We get to forgive family members. that maybe you pushed away over the past three years, or maybe they pushed you away and you need to be the one to forgive them. You can't just say, nah, you know what? F them. I don't need them in my life. Oftentimes we're born into a soul tribe that we get to experience life with and through to really understand and get the lesson. So, We get to call them back into our life. I know that's a stretch for many people. But what would it look like if you reached out to them within the next seven days and said, Hey, sorry for how I treated you. I know I was a dick. Or you reached out to them and said, Hey, I know maybe we were on different pages back then. It's been a year and a half, two years since I've seen you. I'd love to come over and just connect, see what you're up to. and you'd be blown away at how much lighter you will feel in that text, in that conversation, in sharing stories, and maybe who knows, a hug. I'm a hugger. Go give them a hug. I know many of you feel like puking right now if you're really holding on to this resentment and pain and all the things that come with this. I promise you, at the end of the day, you will feel better. these simple acts of forgiveness promote healing. And it's even been scientifically proven, my friend, to heal you when you forgive. Number one, it reduces stress and anxiety. I looked up this journal published in the Journal of Medicine, and I found that it was linked to lowering stress hormones like cortisol. And you know, I talk about cortisol because ashwagandha in green juice lowers cortisol 29%. what is cortisol? Cortisol stress. Cortisol is the great hormone disrupter. It's the fat stacking chemical in our body. It's the thing that makes us feel a little crazy at times. We're a little stressed out. We're a little shaken up. I think the vast majority of society is actually a little too stressed out right now. A lot of people have anxiety. More than ever before, have anxiety rates skyrocketed. I wonder why. Well, guess what? Forgiveness can help with that. Who do you need to forgive? What grudges are you holding on to? Maybe there's resentment that you have. How can you get rid of that? Well, forgiveness. It also improves mental health. Holding on to anger and resentment can negatively impact mental health over time. I like to look at it as these energetic chains holding you into a depression state, giving you all types of mood disorders. Forgiveness allows individuals to heal emotional wounds that are far deeper than any physical wounds, and it helps you move on, leading to improved mental health. And this was a study published in the Journal of Health and Psychology. They found that individuals that forgave had better mental health and outcomes than those that did not. And since we're at it, it also improves physical health. Forgiveness has been linked to better health outcomes. Here's the big deal. Forgiveness. If you haven't forgiven, it's like putting a vice grip is the way I see it on your blood vessels. Every single blood vessels, 50 trillion cells a second created in the human body. Imagine all those little vice grips on your cells. A study published in the Journal of Behavioral Medicine found that individuals that forgave their partners for negative behavior had a lower blood pressure and better readings than those that did not. So that is how it improves physical health. One of the biggest ways it also improves marriages and relationships is that it allows individuals to move past experiences and emotions that can be led to increased trust, increased optimism, looking at your partner as if they were spirit in the flesh looking back at you. God is just around every corner. And in your relationship, that's one of the greatest practice grounds to really see God show up in your life. If you can look at your partner as if they're just Jesus in disguise, right? How much better would your life be? What can you let go of in your relationship that maybe there's a little teeny weenie? Well, I've been holding on this, and you're a real asshole. If you can let go of that, guess what? The grudges, the resentments, the pain, the anguish, all of that that has been linked to emotional distress that can actually affect both partners. Because when y'all are doing the busy work, you're actually forming energetic connections like energetic links, a meshment, When you have that, if one person hasn't forgiven the other person, the other person still feels it. And I know you know what I'm talking about. In my relationship, I'll experience even physical pain in my neck and all of a sudden, my woman will feel it in her neck, same exact spot, weird, 24-48 hours later, guess what? If I'm hurting in a certain spot in my body, I ask her, Hey, how's your lower back left back doing? Ah, it's been hurting lately. Isn't that interesting? So if it affects the physical body, what do you think forgiveness does to the heart? You got a closed off heart. What if your heart was open? Well, I know you'd be happier. If your heart was open, you'd probably see through the eyes of a child, right? Isn't that the doorway to heaven as it has been said? What if you could look at life like you were a five-year-old, as if it was the first time and the last time you'll ever see anything? How beautiful would life be? Well, forgiveness does that. It's been linked to an increased life, longer life, satisfaction and positive emotions. So here's all the scientific research, my friend, right there for you. How does it do this? In a big way, well, it stimulates your parasympathetic nervous system. When we feel safe, It is said your vibe attracts your tribe. When you feel safe, your vagus nervous system vibrates in a different way. It's the longest nerve in the human body. It's what we feel when we heal. And when that parasympathetic nervous system is turned on, it can change our life. So let me share a few quick ways that you can activate your parasympathetic nervous system to close out this podcast. We've done a lot already. I shared with you the story. I shared with you the steps of forgiveness, the psychological steps. I also went into who we need to forgive and why scientifically, it can actually change and improve our lives. And now we're gonna get into exercises that stimulate the vagus nerve just because why we're forgiving, we might as well supercharge this and make our lives even better. The first step is simply deep breathing. Most people are mouth breathers. They're not breathing with their whole belly. So if we really want to activate our parasympathetic, we want more of a resonant tone and I am safe tone, deep breathing is the way to go. I love box breathing. Four seconds in, hold four seconds, four seconds out, four seconds hold. and you just do this for even five minutes a day. You'll be blown away at what this does. There's breathing apps you can get. One of my favorite apps, I believe it is called Breathwork. I'm looking it up on my phone, which is why this is taking a little bit longer. Breathwork, simple, easy. You do this, it will change your life, my friend. When I used to track my HRV with my aura in my whoop, I would see five to 10 point improvement just by deep breathing every single day. and the reason that's significant is because HRV is tied to the parasympathetic tone or the vagus nerve that we have in the body. The next thing I would recommend doing, and this is good for a lot of people that have blocked throat chakras, they're unable to say what they want to say. They're people Pleasers. They hold on, they bite their tongues. Right. There's forgiveness in your heart, but you don't really want to say it because you have this fear of looking good. And if you don't look good when you do it. Well, then maybe you go through all these stories in your head. Singing or humming, the vibration of the vocal cords can actually help release that. And the big benefit is it stimulates your vagus nerve. So when I brush my teeth, I hum. I got a little Sonicare toothbrush. I try to hum with my toothbrush. Weirdest thing. And you'll freak your partner out in the beginning. They'll be like, what are you doing? Like why are they doing that? But trust me, if you can hum, you can get your nerves firing, your parasympathetic nervous system will kick on, especially right before bed. You know, you're going to bed, you want that increase in parasympathetic before you go to bed. That way you can rest, digest and repair while your head hits that silk neck pillow of yours because you don't want any neck pain when you wake up. I've been experiencing a little bit of that. That's not good. Next up would be gargling. Gargling water can really help you activate your parasympathetic and stimulate that nerve as well. So I drink salt water in the morning and just gargling a little real salt. Redmond's real salt. The best salt. This isn't a plug. I'm not paid by Redmond's real salt. But if I was, I would sell the sh out of that stuff because it is awesome. Cold therapy also, if you don't have a cold plunge, don't worry about it. You can take a cold shower or you can even plunge your face in a bowl of cold water. I know that sounds crazy. And you can also on Amazon, they have these Thera masks that cover pretty much your whole grill unless you have a giant face head Viking skull like I have. Then you're probably gonna need the big one, like the extra large one or a towel, like a face towel. to wrap around your face. Cold therapy is really good though at stimulating that. There's certain stretching poses, yoga poses that can do it. I'm not a big yoga guy, but fish pose, cobra pose, bridge pose, I even think like the cockroach, happy baby, rocking back and forth in happy baby probably stimulates the vagus nerve. Also, there is a chi machine that I have on Amazon and I'll leave a link in the show notes as well that I have. It's like 150-200 bucks, not bad. But you put your heels in it and it just rocks you back and forth. It gets your chi going because a lot of people have broken busted chi. You want to get your chi flowing and that's one of my favorite things. I usually put that on 20 minutes, 10 minutes a day to start. You'll feel like a new person. It's really good for your lymphatic system too. So, all of these things can turn on your parasympathetic, increasing your I am safe vibes. I'll probably post a video on my Instagram, you guys of doing these exercises one by one, like how to actually do some of these poses, how to how I deep breathe, what I use for cold plunging, my chi machine, So make sure you go head on over to my Instagram. Leave comments on these two because I do pick people that have questions about podcast specific ideas that I give green juice, red juice, gold, all the Organifi stuff too. So it's just a place to communicate outside of, say, the iTunes Apple app. So head on over there. I am in building drucannoli.com, the new construction of that where I'll have a better place to do that. But for now, Just checking out on Instagram there. And then the last exercise, which I've done videos on the past of this, 12 years ago I started FitLife TV on YouTube. And if you've seen any of those videos, then you know we are a bunch of health freaks. We get our freak on there. And one of the things that I've shown is TRE, Trauma Release Exercises, which is simply known as shaking. You can do it at your house. It leads to lower levels of cortisol. and improved heart rate variability, which are both signs, like I said, of rest and restoration. So you want that and it's so easy to do. Usually you do a wall sit for a few minutes. They've done all kinds of research in regards to this but one study that I actually pulled up here in the Journal of Trauma and Dissociation, it found that veterans who participated in TRE exercises experience a reduction in symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, PTSD. I've had PTSD off and on throughout my life. TRE every single day for five minutes knocks it out of your central nervous system. It's gentle, it's easy, it's intentional movements that can be practiced at home. It's so easy to do and it can safeguard against some of the effects of PTSD or some of the chronic stress that can lead to more dis-ease, dis-rest in the body maybe at a future state. So TRE is absolutely incredible. Whether you're deep breathing, singing, humming, garlic gargling, cold therapy, yoga, TRE, or using the chi machine, all of these can help flush out some of that biophotonic structure that may be stuck in your cellular matrix. Get it out of the body, switch up your morphogenetic field. cast the biggest I am safe vibes out of anybody you know to where you literally walk into a room and people just want to come up to you because there's such a grounding force in you. And it really takes forgiveness to do that. It takes constant forgiveness. Let go and let God feel, heal, experience all there is in this experience.
