A recorded patient testimonial interview between Dr. Joshua John-Ram Schacter and patient Brian H. about regenerative therapy for Brian’s painful left shoulder. Brian (about to turn 61) describes severe pre-treatment symptoms (night pain, limited range of motion, inability to reach behind or sleep on either side), diagnostic steps (X-ray, ultrasound, movement exam), the treatment experience (short downtime, initial stiffness then rapid improvement), and substantial recovery — he reports roughly a 90% improvement in function so far and high satisfaction with care and follow-up.

Yeah.
Okay, We've got Brian with us today. Brian has been working with us. His left shoulder. Brian's been working with us on his left shoulder. They're both so good. I can't tell now. So, Brian, if you don't mind. And this is going to blow everybody's mind, what's your age?
Probably 61 in October, which is, what, six weeks away.
This is our type of patient, Right. Somebody who is really interested in health. 61 years old, looking 40. Pretty good. All right, man. Well, so you came to us with this severe left shoulder pain.
Before the treatment, I couldn't sleep. I was waking up several times a night. Had to adjust. Couldn't lay left, couldn't lay right. And I had to hold my arm over, across my chest. Couldn't reach behind me. Painful going up overhead shoulder presses. I mean, a severe pain where it was. I had to make a decision to get some treatment done on it.
Yeah, yeah. So tell me.
I don't know. I don't know. If anything made me upset, I would say challenge. Just normal, everyday activities I couldn't do anymore. Yeah, yeah.
How'd that make you feel?
Old.
Because, you know, if statistically men live to be 76. Right. Do I want to live another 16 years with pain in my shoulder, not being able to sleep, having limited mobility? No. So. But statistically, I'm going to live longer.
Yeah, you are.
My parents died in their 90s.
Saw advertisement on Facebook, and I kind of looked around at some other things online and I thought, yeah, let's see what they. What they say.
Yeah.
And I like the original diagnosis. You know, you did the X ray, you did the ultrasound, and we did a sort of a examination of the. Of the movement of the area. And that kind of convinced me that, yeah, it's time to do something.
Yeah.
Wasn't concerned. I knew that if I didn't do anything, it would get worse. So there wasn't a concern of is this gonna work or not, because something will help improvement. But what you have done has made like a. As of right now, I would say a 90% increase in efficiency compared to prior to. Before coming in.
Yeah, yeah.
And then just going to take a little bit more time to recuperation and some modifications on my exercises.
We've got plans for that.
And it keeps increasing, you know, strength and intensity every week, week by week. It's. There's improvements.
Great.
They uncomfortable? Are they unpleasant? How hard was it to get through?
No, no. Just sat in the chair and you did your thing and that was it.
What kind of downtime did you have after each of our procedures?
I guess the first time driving home, that arm was a little stiff. The next day I felt, and I commented to you, I felt like a bird with a broken wing. Because the next day I really couldn't move that arm. Everything was just between the treatment and the injury. It just needed some recuperation time. But then by the following day, I was being able to move it. Doing a little bit of careful exercise.
Yeah.
Oh, the next day.
Okay. Yeah.
Sleep, that's a big one. That's the biggest thing. Yeah. Without good solid sleep, my mind's not focused.
Your staff is great, you know, you have a great facility. I really was impressed by your follow up or you personally called me the next day to make sure everything was going good. As far as concerns, though, I don't really have any. I couldn't tell anybody else what to. What to consider, what not to consider. I mean, each injury, whether it's a knee or elbow or a shoulder or wrist, arm, back, it's all different. So I wouldn't know what somebody else would need to consider.
Right. Do you think they could trust us to take good care of them?
Oh, yeah. Based on my injury, yes. 100%.
Fantastic. Fantastic. Anything else that you want to say? Anything else that you want to talk about?
No, not that I can think of.
I'm just going to keep moving forward one day at a time and, you know, keep that momentum going.
Absolutely happy with it? Yes, very happy. Awesome, man. Thank you so much.
