Chapters
Some of you have accidentally taken on a second job— managing your pain. You wake up and assess how your knee feels. You plan when to take something throughout the day. You remember the brace, schedule a massage, avoid certain chairs, calculate how long you have to stand or walk. And by the end of the day, managing your pain has taken up an incredible amount of time and mental energy. And because you've gotten good at working around it, you may not even realize how much it's controlling you. Being able to tolerate pain shouldn't mean that that you should keep ignoring it. Get it properly evaluated and start looking for a plan instead of another temporary workaround.
