My name is Larry shields. I'm age 74. I've had knee pain for many years dating back to when I was much younger and they couldn't seem to find the cause of it. Well, the biggest thing it was hard to walk any distance at all and of course climbing stairs was a little precarious because I wasn't sure I could depend upon my knees. I made an appointment with Dr. Schachter because he came highly recommended from people that I knew was very simple really. The drawing of the blood was painless, easy, no problem at all. And then I waited for the spinning to be done and then they came back in for the two injections of the platelets. I didn't really have any downtime. After I left the office I went to the store and did some shopping. After I got my prescription that the doctor gave me, I took one of those and by the next morning I had very little discomfort in either knee.
