A short transcript excerpt from a YouTube video where Dr. Joshua John-Ram Schacter and another speaker discuss regenerative (non-surgical) treatments for joint health. The speakers note these treatments are not covered by insurance and one speaker endorses paying out-of-pocket as worthwhile for longevity despite cost concerns.
I guess I can look at it from an age point that if you want to have longevity it's 100% worth it.
These treatments are not paid for by insurance.
No.
When we talk to our patients one of the concerns is well you know we don't want to do anything that our insurance isn't covering but our insurance doesn't cover our overall health. It doesn't cover non surgical management that's very effective for joints.
What would you say.
To somebody who's considering using their hard earned money to pay for these programs?
I guess I can look at it from an age point that if you want to have longevity it's 100% worth it and I know it is costly and some people it may be a burden and some people that may be able they're okay but I think it's 100% worth it even though insurance doesn't pay for it. It was the best thing for me. It was the best thing.
