We don't want to inject steroids into your tissues or joints. We have a much better alternative. Steroid medications have a tendency to worsen your joint pain, even though they're helping a little bit with the symptoms. They're structurally damaging your joint, they're making your arthritis worse, they're damaging your tissues that they're injected into. And if you have a steroid injected into, say, your shoulder for a rotator cuff tear, that's going to make that tear worse, and it's going to make it less likely to heal with another intervention, whether that be PRP injection, stem cell therapy, or surgery. So steroids are bad. We don't want to inject steroids into your tissues or joints. We have a much better alternative.
