Short clinic video in which Dr. Sanda Moldovan (Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness) explains jawbone cavitations: what they are, how they are detected with CT scans, and how she treats them surgically. I'm Dr. Sanda at Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness. Cavitations are unknown jawbone infections that may be crippling your health. Cavitations are detected through the use of a CT scan. So when you come into our office, we actually have you take a CT scan. So I can determine if I see holes in the jawbone that may be harboring parasites, bacteria, viruses or even fungus.
