How Dentists Use Ozone Oil for Faster Healing

Dr. Sanda Moldovan explains how dentists use ozonated oils like Orasana Oral Detox to speed healing and reduce sensitivity after procedures. The liquid version goes under the gum with a syringe; the solid blend works better for canker sores and fungal issues. Dentists can bill for the antimicrobial application and resell the products wholesale.

What if you could speed up healing, reduce sensitivity, and support the oral microbiome, all with a simple at-home solution? In this video, we're breaking down how ozonated oil fits into modern dentistry.
Hi everyone, I'm Dr. Sanda Moldovanovan. In the next few videos on my YouTube channel, I want to focus on ozone. I feel we have a great opportunity in dentistry to utilize something that's natural and has a big impact on the oral microbiome, not just where it comes to gingival health, but also where it comes to cavities. I want to discuss what do we have available in terms of home care for the patients. And by the way, Ozoneated Oil is something that even your hygienist can use just on a day-to-day if they see gingival inflammation. And you can utilize the antimicrobial application code as a dentist in order to be able to get that covered by insurance. The two products that I like for ozonated oil are a little bit different. This is the Orasana line oral detox, and as you could see, this is actually liquid inside. So why is that good? Because the ozonated oral detox can actually be used as a swish. So you can actually carry this. We offer wholesale in Orasana, so you can carry it in your office and sell this to the patient and have them utilize a teaspoon or tablespoon, swish back and forth about a minute, especially after scaling and root planing, after oral microbiome reset, to have the tissue heal a lot faster with less sensitivity. We actually have studies that ozone helps to decrease sensitivity after dental procedures. The second product, this is actually solid state of ozone, and it could be a mixture. This particular one is olive oil, unscented, And this actually has organic coconut oil and some sesame oil. That's why we're able to maintain the liquidity of it. But when you're dealing with just ozonated olive oil, now it's in a solid state. The solid state olive oil is a lot harder to use as an ozone treatment in the mouth because when you try to pick it up with a Q-tip, let's say, it's hard to apply subgingivally. The Liquid Oral Detox, you can actually take it with a monoject. You can actually take it with a syringe and actually use a small cannula, millimeter cannula, to apply it subgingivally. This one you cannot. This is more for like canker sores. You can apply this more for angular cheilitis because ozone is great as an antifungal agent. And of course, you can apply this anywhere else outside of the mouth, especially on rashes or cuts. Ozone helps to oxygenate the site and also keeps the microbes away from invading the wound. And that's why we see faster healing using ozonated oil. If you like my video, please share it with one of our colleagues and post any comments you might have right below.
