Foreign. I hope this video finds you well. I'm excited to see all of you back at the office. I hope you're all staying healthy. And I wanted to share with you this paper from the Institute of Functional Medicine and we are going to have it as a resource on our main webpage. Beverlyhillsdentalhealth.com basically the institute of Functional Medicine looked at all the research papers to see which botanical recommendations can we make for you that are scientifically proven to help you beat viral infections. Whether it's COVID 19, whether it's any other viral infection that could happen in the next few years. And believe me, this won't be the last viral infection we're going to have to deal with or bacterial infection or parasitic infection. So the most important thing I believe is to keep our immune system in top shape. One of the most important supplements of course is curcumin and that's something that I've been recommending, as all of you know already for a very long time. Because curcumin being an extract of turmeric, we know that it turns on hundreds of anti inflammatory genes and it has been shown to decrease viral activity for COVID 19 but also helps reduce inflammation in your body. So I highly recommend in today's day and age all of you to be taking curcumin Curtin as an enzyme that's been mentioned in this paper. It's a extract from onion mostly and it's found in a lot of enzymatic formulations. Zinc is a very important one that we have in our mineral supplements at the office. Vitamin d, very, very important. 5000 I use daily scientifically based evidence that it helps with upper respiratory infections. Vitamin A10000 I use at least on a daily basis. It helps with the lung function and the lining of your lungs together of course with your asana probiotics that not only help your mouth but it helps your respiratory tract. Vitamin C, very important. We have in our office liposomal vitamin C which helps it get better inside the cells as compared to some of the vitamin C that might be synthetic. Melatonin in the evening. Again, this is one supplement that's very important. So take 5-20mg nightly. It helps you not to go to sleep, but really melatonin helps you with the inflammation in the body. It's a very potent antioxidant pea this is a naturally occurring anti inflammatory agent. Oftentimes it's found in formulation with curcumin but it helps with respiratory disease and influenza. And this is something that I recently added to my daily vitamin regimen. The recommendation is 300 mg orally green tea is very important. You can take it in the form of Matcha powder that you can add it to your smoothies. If you don't like to drink tea and especially today it's so hot outside, last thing we want to do is green do green tea. Hot resveratrol is another one that has been studied in the lab and has been shown to attack a relative of the COVID 19 virus. So there's so many things we can do and I love this paper summary that was actually done voluntarily by a lot of physicians to help all of us and keep our immune system in top shape. If you have any questions, please call us at the office. We are fully open stay starting this Monday. And some of these supplements, not all of them, you can find them online. Our shop is not open at Beverly Hills Dental Health.com but if you have any other supplement you're curious about, I'm here for you and hope to see you healthy as well as wishing you best health for your family.
