Halloween time. So that means is a really great time for dentists because all of you kids out there are eating lots of sugary candy and you're developing cavities. However, did you know that there's a good candy out there that stops cavities? That's right. It's a chewable probiotic that tastes just like a candy. You might ask what's the problem with sugar? Well, sugar is very acidic and you know, bacteria that is sitting on the teeth loves sugar. So it starts eating lots of it and it starts dissolving, dissolving the tooth, causing cavities. And cavities show up like little brown spots on your teeth which can grow and grow and grow as you eat more sugar. And unfortunately, the way to treat it at that point when it's big is to drill in the tooth and put a filling on it. And if you are going to have the regular candy which is full of sugar, don't forget to brush water, floss and pop in a chewable probiotic.
