Good afternoon. My name is Dr. Joseph Knull. I'm the resident chiropractor at Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness Office, and we're here to demonstrate TMJ adjustments and how it segues into the dental practice that I'm currently with. If you look at the patient from a diagnostic standpoint, you have to eliminate any trauma, chemical or neurological deficit that could occur from clenching, bruxism, et cetera. So what we want to do is to establish, number one, what is the problem, and then look at all the other parameters that can affect that adversely. So it's a simple matter of making the diagnosis and going and making the correction. With this gentleman today, he's showing a bite. Open for me. Lightly open. Very, very just touch. He's biting more on the left side than he is on the right side. So we can affect a change that will balance the jaw, and a dental appliance can be made to affect a more balanced approach that will eliminate the clenching and the bruxism and possibly any sleep apnea that he may be suffering from. And that's what we do here at the Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness Center.
