Addressing Confidence

I've seen so many patients transform so many parts of their lives just by starting with a smile. With what I do with smile transformations, I look at smiles as more of a verb than a noun. It's more of an emotion and a feeling. And in my practice, what we do, yes, we build smiles. But I feel primarily the cornerstone of that and the foundation of that and the intention and purpose behind that is to build confidence. And I've seen so many patients transform so many parts of their lives just by starting with the smile. Having that confidence to go out there, feel good about yourself, really eliminating that insecurity where it's no longer an issue, you're no longer thinking about this thing that's holding you back. That becomes really important when people are moving into other phases of their life or starting new businesses or dating again. Confidence comes into play so much. And then for my own life, particularly with starting a business, of course, there are times where our confidence is not on a 100%, but I think we build confidence over time. We lean into our previous successes. One small success at a time leads to more and more confidence. You lean into past successes, you really tap into that, and you get the knowing that no matter what it is, no matter what the project is or no matter what's at hand, you've now got the tools, you've now got the experience, and you're fully equipped to take on whatever's ahead.
