Adrienne Bailon-Houghton Smile Journey

This is a short interview-style YouTube video (Dr. Victoria Rose Veytsman’s channel) documenting Adrienne Bailon’s smile makeover. Adrienne explains she originally received veneers about 15 years earlier after fracturing her two front teeth as a child; Dr. Veytsman describes this upload as a revision case consisting of 10 porcelain restorations (including 2 crowns) to refresh color, translucency, and overall appearance. The video shows the clinical steps, Adrienne’s interim experience with temporary restorations (about a week and a few days), and both patient and clinician reflecting on increased confidence from the updated smile.

I'm Dr. Victoria Veitzman, and today I'm in my Beverly Hills location. Today I'm with Emmy award winning Adrienne Balon.
I was not nervous. I was just like, oh, I have to do this. Thank you.
Today she's with me for some improvements to her gorgeous smile.
Say no to drugs, people. I know this is what you just took.
Yes, yes. It's a different angle. Her existing veneers were turning gray and a little dull and weren't really popping on camera the way she wanted them to. So now she's in my office to get the perfect smile she's always wanted.
What's up? I'm Adrienne Bailon, and I'm super excited to be at Dr. V's office today. I actually got veneers done 15 years ago because when I was in fourth grade, I had an accident where I cracked my two front teeth. And the veneers I got while they were super helpful for making it not look like I just had two Chiclets in the front. It's been 15 years, so I need to get them done again. And I'm super excited for Dr. V to create a more feminine, new, natural smile for me. I can't wait.
Helping people feel good about themselves is what motivates me every day. A lot of people don't realize the importance of having a great smile and how it can really affect your confidence and the way you interact with people every day.
Just got my temps in, guys. I'm obsessed with my smile. Thank you. I will see you guys in New York. I absolutely love that Dr. B has offices in LA and now we're here in the office in New York, which is incredible that she's bi coastal, because so am I. So although we started this journey in Los Angeles, we are now in New York, and it's been about a week and a few days with my temps on. And I have to be honest, I already love how it looks currently, but excited for today's journey and the fact that this is it. These are gonna be my official final tee.
So what we did today for Adrienne was a smile makeover. It was actually a revision case. She had these mirrors placed out may, like, 10, 15 years ago. And like with anything, everything has its own longevity, right? So it was definitely time for an Upgrade. We did 10 porcelain restorations, two of which were crowns. We rebuilt some things underneath those crowns, and she just wanted something a little bit more vibrant, something that still looked natural, but just something that gave her a little bit of that Pop a little bit of a fresh look that kind of matched her personality a little better.
I feel like my journey to a confident smile has taken some time. I actually cracked my two front teeth when I was in fourth grade, so that really shifted everything because that would be considered like dental trauma. The fact that I now had my two adult teeth now needed to be capped. It was a whole thing. And I've always had an insecurity about, like, oh, my gosh, people are gonna know that, like, my two teeth aren't real. My two front teeth and it all should be cohesive. And just to now be coming to this place so many years later and loving my smile is incredible. So I'm so excited to just be able to smile confidently, not worry about, like, if you can see the post in my teeth. I love that Dr. V actually made them white so that even though the teeth are somewhat translucent, you can't see that. And I'm just excited to, like, not even think about it anymore. Let it go. Let the trauma go and have a confidence.
Today's case was amazing. One of my favorite things to do, actually is revamping cases, like revision cases. I know that Adrienne had some history with her teeth. You know, she had her case done once or twice in the past. I was never, like, fully, fully happy with it. With time, as years go on, everything ages, including the smile. And especially people that are kind of in the public eye. It's so important. It's so forward facing. It's the first thing you see. So doing that case for her was actually a really cool partnership because, you know, she's a great patient and she just made it really easy. It was really satisfying to see, like, a really bright, vibrant smile that suited her better.
I think the main takeaway from this whole experience is that I think I was putting this off because I was kind of dreading the idea of it. And then I got this done and I was like, oh, my gosh, this is so worth it. I think how you feel when you invest in your smile is life changing. I definitely am annoyed that I waited this long to do this, and I wish I would have done it sooner. Dr. B, I am so grateful to you. I think that what you do is incredible and it's so inspiring as a woman woman. And not only that, but just the detail and the excellence that you practice is phenomenal. I literally think that I'm leaving here like, oh, girl, I got to practice excellence. And all I do is just thinking of Dr. B.
Thank you for joining me. On this journey. I'll see you next time.
