The one question I find myself asking is, what is the right thing to do here? I can speak a lot about this topic because I think it's so deeply ingrained in everything that we do. If I were to think about the top values that I have personally and that I infuse into my business, I would say the first one is probably integrity. Always doing the right thing. When you work for yourself and you don't necessarily have a boss, self accountability becomes extremely important. If you can't be accountable to yourself, you can't be accountable to anyone else relying on you, and you can't be accountable to your community or anything beyond that. So being accountable to yourself to always do the right thing is crucial. As an entrepreneur, as a business owner, we're faced with so many tough decisions every day and decisions we have to make on the fly. And the one question I find myself asking is, what is the right thing to do here? I lead with that. If I'm a little bit uncertain about a decision, I'll say, okay, well, what is the right thing to do here? What is the right thing to do for the business? Business? What is the right thing to do for the patient? What is the right thing to do for this organization? And that's truly a guiding question for me.
