She notes 90% of her patients are women and describes a ~15-year partnership as the official dentist with the Miss America organization, emphasizing the pageant’s role in building contestants’ confidence and leadership rather than mere beauty competition.

As a woman leading to private practices in Manhattan and Beverly Hills, how have you managed to thrive and how has this helped you with your work with Miss usa? We as America organizations to empower women. I love these questions about being a woman in these male dominated industries because I look at it a little bit differently. There's a certain duality that we have to embrace as female entrepreneurs. And actually any leader entrepreneur. There are masculine and feminine traits when it comes to leadership, it's not one or the other. For instance, you could be negotiating a contract one minute, looking at spreadsheets, looking at your business plan, the next minute you've got. It will be your team with compassion, empathy. We're patient. So it's really a matter of voicing the duality between the two. 90% of my patients are women and that's really what sets us apart. So you can use what you have as a tool of differentiation and then yeah, we've been lucky to work with the Miss America UC Universal organization for 15 years or so. I've been their official dentist. And it's really incredible seeing these women come in and building confidence and empowering themselves. And it starts with just like that first step of just even building confidence on stage. There's only one winner, but all of these girls go on to have these amazing careers. It's not a beauty pageant. It's a matter of getting that confidence to step up on stage, speak about what's important to you. And the really cool thing about these organizations and really building these very strong women and their leadership skills, which is a lot what you need right now.
