I always lean into the fact that if you want that beautiful smile, you have to start with health first. This really is an investment that potentially people have in their mouth for a good 15, 20 years. I've seen people spend that amount on other expensive things that don't really provide the health benefits or the confidence benefits that a smile makeover can, things that are disposable carbs and things like that. So it's really a matter of prioritizing. It's like how important is it for you to feel good about yourself or be confident and healthy? So it's really a matter of figuring out what's important. It doesn't always have to be expensive. Preventative care has always been important. There are some things that haven't changed over the years and will remain the same and sort of these timeless pillars of dentistry. I think that really honing in on the idea that health is really the foundation of beauty. So even as a cosmetic dentist, I always lean into the fact that if you want that beautiful smile, you have to start with health first. Preventative care. Seeing your dentist regularly using an electric toothbrush. Don't forget the basics. I think that that's important in life in general. But really having those anchors of a routine and self care are really important. Even if we're talking about beautification. I think health is always the foundation of that.
