Dr. Victoria Veytsman x Rose Code - Behind the Name

Transcript of a short interview where Dr. Victoria Rose Veytsman discusses naming her brand. She frames the brand as more than a product line — an idea or way of living centered on beauty, wellness, and confidence — and explains choosing the word 'code' and using her middle name 'Rose' to signal femininity and the brand's audience (women).
When I had the idea to start.
A product line, you know, and I.
Consider this more than a product line.
It's really kind of an idea, a way of living, a way of being. It's really far beyond the physical products.
And I really wanted a name that captured that.
I also wanted a name that wasn't myopic and didn't really pigeonhole us into just teeth.
Because when I think about smiles, when I think about all the transformations we do, when I think about what I do in my practice, when I think.
About what I want this brand to exist as, it's so much beyond teeth, because we know the smile is connected to everything else. It's connected to confidence. It's connected to a way of living, a way of being, overall health, all the things. So I really thought a long time about what appropriate name for a brand like this could be.
I went from, like, you know, Dr.
V smiles to Dr. V's white teeth to, you know, all the things. And then I landed on a word code, which is one of my favorite words. It really leans into this idea that there is a code to everything in life. There's a code to beauty, there's a code to wellness, There's a code to oral health. There's a code to living well, living with purpose. And I really wanted to capture that with this brand.
So one of the initial brand names that we had thought of was potentially beauty code, but that still didn't feel quite right. And when I thought about, like, who.
This brand is for and what I want this brand to mean, it was really a brand that was created for women to live better.
My middle name happens to be Rose. Honestly, I hadn't used for a long time. But then when I leaned into that.
And thought about what Rose means beyond the actual name, Rose is really symbolic of women, girls, and that's who we created this product for.
So at that point, I thought it.
Was really just an appropriate name that encompassed the femininity and who we're creating it for, balanced it with what the brand does.
And also the acronym for Rose is.
Realization of Self expansion. And that is also really huge part of this brand, giving people the opportunity, or at least inspiring them to realize their own potential.
