Dr. Victoria Rose Veytsman delivers a personal reflection on success and career timing, emphasizing that there is no single path to achievement. She describes life as a series of chapters providing experience, knowledge, and confidence; encourages starting at any age and avoiding comparisons to others; and cites Vera Wang as an inspirational example of late-blooming success.
Chapters
I really believe that everyone has their own path to success. Yes, I did get a really early start. I was the youngest in my class in dental school. But I don't believe that that's everyone's path to success. I believe it's possible to really start at any age. I think that life goes in chapters and there are things that we have to do in each chapter of our lives to give us the experience, the knowledge, the confidence to really take us to where we need to be. I look at success and tim more of as an evolution of yourself self growth and not so much a number. I mean look at Vera Wang. She became successful in her 40s. That is so inspirational. So if I were to tell people anything it would be to not be afraid to start at any age. Everyone's journey is unique and you really can't compare your journey to someone else's. Ultimately it's all going to look different and you will arrive exactly where you need to be at the perfect time.
