This is a short interview/testimonial from a YouTube video (Jessel Taank's Smile Makeover by Dr. Victoria Veytsman). Jessel Taank describes long-standing self-consciousness caused by childhood dental trauma and restorative work, their decision to pursue a smile makeover, and how temporary restorations already increased their confidence—especially important because they are frequently in the public eye and before cameras.
I have.
Been thinking about getting smile makeover for quite some time. I've always been self conscious about my teeth because when I was a child I was very naughty and I impacted my teeth. I had to get a lot of restorative work done but it's always been something that has been on my mind. I'm a very competent person as it is, but I think being in the line of work that I am, being in the public eye constantly and being in front of the camera, all of those things I think are just going to boost my self confidence in a.
Way that hopefully.
People can see it. I know at the end of the day the results are going to speak for themselves and I'm just really excited to finally get this done.
Leaving this office after the temporaries already made such.
A difference, you just have.
This like sense of confidence that comes over you. The funniest thing is is I was so self conscious every time I'm in front of a camera or I'm smiling now I don't care. And it's very liberating. It definitely feels very liberating to be able to just be yourself.
