Welcome back. I wanted to do a quick video of a light I recently got from a company called gvm. Great video maker. They make lights, soft boxes, projectors, all sorts of stuff. Even like teleprompters. Reached out to me and wanted me to check out this light that they have. It's an 80 watt, considered a spotlight. It's just a regular lamp. It's not a flash. It's LED based. It is bicolor. It has a cool little app. You can change the features and whatnot. I want to show you an unboxing of some of the stuff I got with it. Got a light stand. I got the light itself, a softbox, a nice diffusion panel. Also got a grid panel. A couple other items with does run on different Sony or Canon batteries that you can use or you can use the AC adapter. And you can see this video of me kind of unboxing it here. But I also want to show you some photos of me using it in real life. I used it to light this office scene that you can see here. Did some kind of office shots on my 18 millimeter. Those are taken on the XH2s. You can kind of see the light. Is being able to light the scene pretty well. Especially when they had fluorescent lighting in that office. It wasn't great. I was using it for headshots, indoor headshots especially. And here's some of those. But this light is pretty great. It's $159. I know there's a lot of competition in the light market, right? Godox is doing a lot of great things. There's a lot of great manufacturers out there. But I think this is a really good option. So again, I'll post a link to the light here and I'll show you kind of what it looks like here. So here's the light itself. Pretty straightforward. Get an LCD display here shows you your base power level in the middle shows your battery life. I'm on the AC adapter right now on the bottom left. It shows you the mode that you're in and then the Kelvin value. All this can be changed with the knob on the back here. So you can actually increase the power. And you'll see at 50 you can see completely blowing me out on video all the way up to 100. Does have a built in fan which is really nice. I know most, most good lights have that nowadays. But that is really nice to have. The actual softbox is pretty nice. It has one of these rings on. I forget the name of it. It's this particular kind of mount, A bayonet mount or something. I forget what it's called, but yeah. Pretty big softbox diffusion filter on there. Pretty nice AC adapter is just kind of a general one. Yeah, pretty, pretty nice little light. It's done me really well. I've used it to light most of my YouTube videos. So if you're interested. Like I said, I'll put a link down below and you guys can check it out for yourself. But I wanted to share my thoughts on this cool little light from GVM. It's a SD80D. Thanks for watching. Have a good one.
