The HTC EVO 4G shoots 720p video. This test shows how it handles low light, bright light, and touch-to-focus by recording in a dim room, then opening shutters to let in brightness, and tapping to lock focus on moving subjects.

Alright, doing a test video of the 720p recording on the Evo. This is in pretty low light here. Got the window closed with the shutters on, As you can see. Let's open that up, see if that makes things look a little bit better. Take a look outside. Sun is shining and setting, So looking away from the sun now we can see things a little better. But it is pretty bright outside right now, so worry too much about that. Let's take a look again at the room and better lighting. Definitely looks a little bit better. Yeah. Again, this is in 720p, the highest setting that the EVO can record in. It's interesting when you start taking a video, you can touch the focus on something but obviously that changes as you take the video. But I did a touch to focus from right about here and as you can tell, everything is pretty in focus there. So we've got some low light adjustment there. Take a look at the box. Interesting choice. Like everyone's saying it's definitely kind of a weird looking box, but it's definitely eco friendly, which we're all happy about, I'm sure. So yeah, there's the box, there's the sample. It's about two minutes right now, so we're going to turn this off, but this is 720p on the Evo 4G by HTC.
