The Best Camera Sling? Fujifilm X Moment Rugged Camera Sling 6L/10L

Dylan Andersen compares three camera slings: Peak Design Everyday, Chrome Niko, and Moment/Fujifilm Rugged. The Moment/Fujifilm wins for its body-conforming shape, waterproofed zippers, and stabilization strap, though Peak Design's dividers are premium and Chrome's buckle is sturdy.

How's it going? I want to do a quick video about a really great camera sling I've been using for the better part of a year. Wanted to share my thoughts on it. I know a lot of people use the Peak design. This is the everyday sling 6 liter. So really cool bag. I originally got this when I wanted to try a sling. For me I'm much more of a backpack person. But obviously just being able to grab a camera and a lens and some accessories like the DJI mic here. Slings are a really good option, right? So really cool bag. Obviously not DJI but Peak design has the best dividers in the game, right? Just having these sort of really cool dividers are awesome. We have a magnetic tablet closure that I have never used because I don't have a tablet that small. Really nice pocket here with some battery dividers and then obviously a zipper in front. The main reason I don't like this bag is that when it's on my back it actually does a really good job based on the shape to not move. So if you're riding a bike or you're walking, it does a really good job not to move, but it still moves. It doesn't have a stabilization strap. I know that you could probably get one with it. And you know what, maybe it even came with one. I doubt it. But I don't have one on here so that's why I don't use it. Then I tried the Chrome Niko Sling. Love Chrome. Grew up in the Bay Area. San Francisco company. I love this a lot. This is the 3.0 version. Chrome is really famous for their backpacks because they have this buckle, right? So you can see this here. Pretty cool little buckle from Chrome. They also have a really nice seatbelt material that's really high quality. The inside is definitely not as nice quality wise as something like the Peak design. But zippers, little compartments here on the sides. On the outside you also get mesh pockets, which is really cool. I love those. You get storage in the back here, storage up here. You don't get a tablet slot in the front. You do get a fold down sort of organizer, right? So you got battery organization here. You got a zipper here for more stuff. And then you can buckle those together here. Show you on the camera. You can put a tripod down here. So really nice bag. And here's that stabilization strap that I love so much. And again, once you use stabilization straps on a sling, it's a game changer. So here it is here, right? So it's on your back and that extra strap helps it not move. Goes under your shoulder. So really nice bag. Why don't I love this bag? Well, very simple. Doesn't have a handle. Okay. So once you're done using it to carry it. Sometimes I don't want to hold it on me. I have to literally carry it like this. Right. So it's not the end of the world. But that's my least favorite thing about it. Why do I love this moment back? Well, here it is. This is the moment. And Fujifilm if you know my channel. I'm obviously I don't know Fujifilm fanboy. But I love other camera brands too. I just love Fujifilm as well. So this is the rugged camera sling 6 liter. Really really cool. As you can see in here right now I have a GFX 50s 2 with a 45 to 100 with a filter on it. And then I have room over here for a strap for. I mean you can put anything in there. DJI film or DJI microphone, whatever you like. Battery compartment up here with zip storage. Do get a tablet pocket storage up here in the front so you can put stuff in there. Key holder which I think is pretty cool. Don't use that too much. I love the design here on the back. It really conforms to your body. And the stabilization strap on here is next level. So let me. Sorry. Zip this up. So check this out. Magnetic, right? We all love magnets, but look at this. Awesome. Love it. Love that thing so much that I ended up buying the bigger brother. So this is the 10 liter so moment Fujifilm rugged camera sling 10 liter, same thing. More storage. Got CF Express card batteries like a DJI Action 2 battery in there. Bunch of lenses in there right now. But I can actually fit like my XH2, my XH2S GFX lens or a X series lens in here. The tablet will fit a 11 inch tablet. I've tried to fit the 12 inch iPad. It won't go in there. So probably the 6 liter is what I'm using the most. I love this thing. I just love the design. I do love the Fujifilm version even if you're not a Fujifilm fan because it has these red highlights on the zippers. Zippers are also really nice and kind of coated and enclosed. I don't know what you call that but it's waterproofed so really, really nice. Get this bag. It's awesome. I'm not sponsored. Sponsor me moment if you want but been a lot of fun. Thanks for watching. Hopefully you guys can share what your favorite bag is below. I'd love to hear sling or backpack. Would love to hear. Thanks for watching.
