A hypnotist recommends three books: Psycho-Cybernetics for reshaping your self-image, Reality Is Plastic to learn street hypnosis in minutes, and The Owner's Manual to the Brain for neuroscience explanations. Together they form a step-by-step roadmap for self-hypnosis and personal change.
Chapters
3 books to master self-hypnosis from a hypnotist. The first one is Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz. It's from this plastic surgeon, and he realized that your decisions in life and everything that happens to you, it's all based on your self-image, how you view yourself. So if you want to change anything in your life, you have to hypnotize yourself to get out of your old self-image and enter the new self-image. Number 2 is Reality Is Plastic by Anthony Jackwin. This is actually a street hypnosis manual. But I recommend it to newcomers to hypnosis because it shows you within the first 5, 10 minutes that hypnosis is so much easier and much simpler than you think it is. Number 3, The Owner's Manual to the Brain by Pierce Howard. This book is quite literally the encyclopedia for the entire brain. So anything that you're wondering about, any issue that you have in your life, you can reliably go to that book and it will have the answer for you.
