Hi everyone, Beth Dodson here with HomeZada. I hope you're having a fabulous day. Thank you so much for joining us today. Today we're going to give you another HomeZada tip, and this is specific to HomeZada. And so one of the things that we want to help people do is better use HomeZada. And so the tip today is, um, how easy is it to make edits on the item list found in the inventory section of HomeZilla. And, um, it's super easy, by the way. Um, one of the things that we recognize with our users is that some people needed to make immediate edits, and they wanted to make some really quick edits based on some new data that they receive about those items. So one of the things that we did, in addition to showing you a tile view of taking a home inventory, is we added this item list view. And when you have an item list, um, you want to make it as efficient as possible. And so that list view only has 5 fields that can be immediately edited, and those 5 fields are item name, space, type, total value, brand, and date purchased. The reason why we chose these is because these are the quick edit items that people want to know real data about quickly, or they have that at the present moment because maybe they're in the process of making a purchase or they need to update values, etc., or purchase prices. So this gives people the ability to make those edits really quickly. Um, why is this important? Well, part of the reason why it's important is because when you are making these edits in your item list, HomeZada allows you to generate reports from that. And one of the major reports is understanding the values of your items. You can understand them in totality, you can understand them by space, and you can understand them by category. And those reports give you more information as a HomeZada user So that you can make the best decisions about how your house is managed, how you're protecting your items, and then also how you are analyzing what you own. Now, one of the things I'll tell you about this as well is prior to HomeZada and not having home inventory, I think I've brought this up before, I have 3 outdoor hedge trimmers, 2 of which are exactly the same. Because I couldn't find the first 2. And so I thought that was just crazy. We want to avoid wasting money, and that is a clear indication of wasting money. So by going to this quick edit inside the item list for Hamzatta, you can make these edits quickly. And remember, you can make them on item name, space, or location of the item.
