The video introduces a common problem for homeowners: they spend significant money on remodels but lack accurate insight into how those projects affect their home’s estimated market value and equity. Real‑estate sites provide market‑based home value estimates, yet they ignore individual renovation details, scopes, and costs, leading to misleading equity figures. The presenter demonstrates how the Homesatta (also referenced as HomeZada) digital home‑management platform uses AI to bridge this gap. The walkthrough covers two main features: (1) the Projects module, where users can log completed or planned remodels, attach receipts, photos, contracts, and use 50 pre‑built templates to auto‑populate typical line items and budget estimates; (2) the Finance dashboard, which combines market‑derived home‑value data (MLS, neighborhood trends) with AI‑generated ROI estimates for each project. By clicking “Zotta AI Values,” the system calculates the expected increase in home value based on historical ROI data for similar projects, allowing users to edit values and toggle which projects to include. The resulting integrated view shows updated home value, loan balance, and equity, illustrating how completed remodels can add tens of thousands of dollars to property worth. The presenter explains three key reasons homeowners care about accurate equity: selling price negotiations, home‑equity loan negotiations, and long‑term financial planning. The video concludes with a call‑to‑action to sign up at HomesAuto.com to start tracking projects and finances with AI assistance.

Homeowners spend tons of money remodeling their house, but they have no idea the impacts to the estimated value of their home. Let's learn how AI can improve your financial visibility on your house. The problem is there are many real estate sites that will show you updated estimated home values of your house, but they don't know what projects you've actually done, the scope that you've done, how much you spent on those projects. They're not really calculating what the typical ROI on those projects are. Thus, you're really getting an incorrect view of not only your estimated home value, but your home equity. So how can AI help? By basically giving you tools to manage all of your remodels, use the AI tools to assess what are the typical return on investments, and then add that remodel value to updated market value to give you a much better current value of your home, ultimately giving you a good financial assessment over home equity. Here's Homesatta, a digital home management platform, and we're going to focus in on 2 features: projects and its impact to the finances. If we go to Projects here and click on All Projects, you can see here I've got a sample house that it's got 4 projects. And if you look at the lower right-hand corner, I've completed the one— the HVAC, the kitchen remodel, and the new roof. So you can go in and click on, for instance, New Roof, and you can obviously come in and identify the estimate, who the contractor was, probably what date you did it. And you can go to the Items tab and you can track either one individual line item— like let's say you hired a contractor to do it and you can see here he spent $17,000— and you can to upload all the photos, contracts, receipts, etc. And now if you want to create a new project, HomeZada also has 50 templates of common home improvement projects. So let's say you're considering remodeling the bathroom. You hit Create Project, you see the status is listed as Wishlist, so you haven't actually done this. On the left-hand side, you can give yourself a, a high-level estimate, kind of like a SWAG, over how much you think you're gonna spend on this, and you hit Create Project. And HomeZada's templates automatically identify all the typical items. Now it's up to you. You could actually budget for all these items. There's also an AI tool that's going to help you budget those, of which we have a different video we encourage you to watch on our YouTube site. But what I really want to do is basically go back now to look at all your All Projects list and see that you've got 5 projects. The first 2 are ones you're considering, right? The backyard landscape and the bathroom remodel, and 3 that you've already actually done. So now you want to assess what is the value of this to your home value. So now let's toggle over to the finance sections of the application here. Again, it's got its high-level dashboard, and if I go to the property values here, the first chart in the upper left-hand corner is giving you constant updates every 3 to 4 months a year on the estimated value of your home based on the market value of current MLS data, neighborhood data, etc., and it's giving you a high-low. So you can see here it says This house is probably worth $469,000, but it could be as low as $419,000 and as high as $519,000. Right. And now if I also go and look at the tab at the far right, I can look at my estimated equity and Homes.com is also going to calculate my loan balance. So you can see the first chart on the left shows you your home's worth $469,000. Your loan balance is worth $156,000. Therefore, the equity that you have in your house is $312,000. But again, all of that is market data. And if I go back to those market values, you may have owned your house for 5 to 10 years. You can see here the purchase date was almost 20 years ago, back in 1998. Now click on the Project Values tab here. And now if I scroll down the list, you see those same 5 projects, right? 2 of them wishlist and then the 3 that we've actually completed. Now on the, on the right-hand corner, you can see here it says Zotta AI Values. All you have to do is click on that and essentially the AI tool is going to take all 5 of those projects and it's going to take either the actual cost for the projects that are completed or your SWAG estimates for the projects that you're considering. And it's basically going to use a lot of data to basically say what is the typical ROI that you get out of that investment in terms of increased value of your home. So you can see here it's got different ones based on different types of projects. Down on the lower right-hand corner, you can say I want to hit Save Those Values. You could obviously make edits if you think that the added value of a particular project might be higher or lower. AI is just the tool, but it does all this calculation for you, and then you can clearly edit them. Now if you look at the left-hand corner in this chart on the same Project Values page, you see all the different values of those 5 different projects And the chart on the right is showing you your current home value because now you have the ability to toggle on which ones you want to see. So I'm going to toggle on all the ones that I've completed. I toggle these 3 on and now you can see my estimated value from the market thinks it's $469,000, but those 3 projects that I've completed a few years ago increased the value of my home up to $47,000. So now if I wanted, I could say, oh geez, should I do the bathroom remodel or should I do the bath— backyard landscape, whatever you want. It's entirely up to you, and you're basically using this as a tool to analyze your projects and its impact on your home value. And now if you go to the Estimated Equity tab, now you're going to see your equity has gone up because you can see the home value is $469,000. If you did those 2 projects, your home value might go up by $64,000. Loan balance is the same, but your equity has gone from $312,000 to $377,000. So you can see how amazing it is to basically tie in all of your home improvement projects with updates of real estate market data about the value of your home, and then giving you the power to use AI to determine what you think the value of your home is and your equity. Because at the end of the day, equity is probably most important to you 3 ways. One is if you decide to sell your home, obviously what the home is worth is dependent on what you and a buyer are going to agree on. Another reason why you want to know the value in your equity is if you're going to get a home equity loan, you might be able to negotiate with your bank in terms of how much of an equity loan you want to do. And the third piece is you just want to know that estimated equity in terms of your long-term financial planning. So if you want to start integrating tracking your projects with finances and AI, we encourage you to go to HomesAuto.com and sign up today and create your property and start tracking your projects and finances.
