Welcome to HomeZada's guide on how to streamline the process of creating your home inventory. From the main inventory page, you can drill down into any space and into any item and edit them one at a time. For instance, with this coffee table, we could put in the date purchased, we could edit the purchase price, and we could even add and upload photos and documents one at a time. If we go back to the All Spaces page, HomeZada offers a streamlined process of updating multiple photos and multiple items across multiple rooms. On the lower right-hand portion of the screen is our quick actions area. The first action is called upload and tag photos. This action allows you to upload photos across multiple rooms and multiple items. So let's select a series of items of our, of our home that we've taken pictures of. Once we upload this process, the length of the upload will depend on the size of your file, which will depend on the size of your camera settings, and the speed of your internet connection, and how many photos you're actually trying to update. Once Hamzatta is done updating all of the photos, the photos are presented to you so that you can begin tagging them across all spaces and all items. For instance, the first photo is a picture of our backyard. So when we click on the space dropdown list box, the first item that shows up is the name of the property, which is the Zotta House. So I want to tag this photo to my overall property. And I don't need to fill in all the other fields if they don't apply to that folder. And I just move over to the right and I click the Save button, and I've tagged that photo to my property. Here's another photo where I'm tagging it to a specific space in my room. And this— in my house, and this is the family room. And again, I can just save it and tag it to the space. This particular item is my dishwasher in the kitchen. And again, I may not know or care about what the date purchase and purchase price, because I bought this home a few years ago and the dishwasher just came with the home. However, this item might be a specific item that I recently purchased. So this item is in my kitchen, and this is our espresso machine, and we'll tag that as a small appliance, and we'll say we purchased this— most people don't remember exactly when they bought everything, but let's say we bought it 2 years ago, and we roughly paid $750 for that one. It was an expensive espresso machine. And also what you can do with this screen is you can actually create new spaces and new items on the fly. So for instance, the photo is a photo of a barbecue on my deck, and if I look at all my spaces, I don't have a deck. Perhaps you want to actually create a new space on the fly. It's very easy to just enter into the cell and type in a new space. And type in a new item. And we'll assign this tool, and we'll say we bought this back in the July timeframe, and we spent $1,250 on this barbecue. Again, it's that simple to update multiple items across multiple rooms. You can even scroll down and not have to do them all in a row. So for instance, you can skip a few photos and just pick this particular space and say, oh, that's my living room and I want to tag it to that space. You can also scroll down the list and you may have uploaded multiple photos of something that you don't really need multiple photos of. You can easily pick one of these photos and just delete it. And you don't actually upload it, you're deleting it and it's not actually tagged to anything. Oftentimes you may not be able to tag all these in one sitting. You may get called away to do some other fun stuff and you may have to log off. So as an example, if you're back at the inventory page, you can always go to the quick action item and the second action is called Tag Unassigned Photos. If you click that, it's always going to bring up the photos that you've previously uploaded that have not been tagged yet. So again, you can do this over multiple sittings in front of HomeZada if you need to. If we go back to the inventory page and look at the quick actions again, the 3rd item is called the quick inventory update. This is yet another streamlined process to allow you to update multiple items across multiple rooms. This screen is showing you all of your items in all of your spaces and 4 key fields across the top: the date purchased, the purchase price, where you bought the item from, and who the manufacturer is. And if I scroll down this list, you can see I've got items in my living room, my dining room, family room, and multiple pages of my entire inventory in my home. Again, very easy to quickly edit the information. Let's— so let's edit that coffee table. And let's say we bought that coffee table recently, and we also paid $500 for that coffee table. Maybe I don't remember where I bought it, but I do remember that it is a Drexel Heritage. Coffee table. Also, you can see that there are many items on here because of HomeZada's predicting with the common items in every room. If an item doesn't apply, again, you can move over to the right-hand side of the X and delete the wall hangings. Also, in the upper right, you can quickly add new items. So for instance, let's say your living room has a television in it. So we're going to create a new item on the fly. We're going to assign this to the electronics category, and we'll guess that we bought this right before the Super Bowl, and we paid $2,500 for it. And we do remember that we bought this at Best Buy and that it was a Samsung television. And we hit the checkbox and we've quickly added an item on the fly. This page is also quite flexible in that it allows you these 2 green filter boxes to filter your entire inventory to a specific room. So let's say you want to just update room by room and you want to just do the kitchen today. You can quickly toggle on the kitchen and it's filtered out all of your other items just for the items in the kitchen. Or you may take a different approach where you want to update all of your important high-value items like your electronics. You can come in and sort on electronics, and now you see on the left-hand side of the screen all the different rooms in your house where you have different electronics items, where again you can quickly go through and edit each and every single one of those. If we go back to the inventory page, once you've completed your inventory, it's probably a good idea to print out what's called the household inventory PDF, the last item on the quick action pane on the right. If you click on this, it'll instantly generate a PDF for you to actually save, and now you could forward this to your insurance agent for insurance purposes. So as you can see with this screen here, you've got your overall home and it's giving you a room-by-room approach over all the items, the item type, the date purchased, the purchase price, and if you know the manufacturer, as well as a grand total for that particular room. And if we go to the left, you can see all of your different rooms in the table of contents. So you could toggle to your dining room, your family room, your kitchen. Scroll down a little bit and you can see there's the refrigerator and the espresso machine. And essentially you've got an entire record of everything that you own in your home. And that's the end of HomeZada's guide on how to streamline the process of creating your home inventory.
