Creating a property is a super easy four-step process. Here in step one, you have to enter in a property name. Most people put in something like my house, but you can put in your name or your city or whatever you'd like. The address is optional information. If you enter in the address, Homes Auto will provide you more smart recommendations based on the zip code and where you live. Once you're done entering in your address, just click the next button at the bottom right. Step two in the process is entering the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your house. This will be helpful as HomeZada is going to predict a number of items in your house based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as the property type. When you're done, hit Predict My Rooms. Based on your bedrooms and bathrooms, HomeZada has predicted all of these rooms in your house, but you have the option of making corrections. So as you scroll through the list, perhaps you could say, oh, your house doesn't have a dedicated office room. And if you actually have other spaces in your house, you can quickly add them on the fly here. Let's say you've got a sunroom and you hit Add Space. And when you're done, click on Confirm Your Spaces. The last step in the process is choosing whether you want Homes Auditor to predict the fixed assets like the furnace and the air conditioning units and the appliances, as well as your possessions like furniture and electronics, so that you don't have to key that information in. If you leave them turned on by default, Homes Auditor will fill those in for you, and you can choose to say whether you have an in-ground pool and click Populate My Spaces. And that's it. Once Homesata is done, you can see under the inventory it's automatically created all the typical rooms in your house. And if you click on, for instance, like the kitchen and drill down into the items in the kitchen, you can see it's predicted all the common fixed assets as well as the appliances that are typically in your kitchen, ready for you to upload photos and to start to personalize your home inventory.
