HomeZada is an app that organizes home remodel projects using 40+ templates. You set budget estimates, track spending against actual costs, upload before/after photos, and store contracts and permits in one place.
Planning and financially managing your home remodel projects is important in order to keep you organized and in control. From the projects dashboard, choose new project at the top where HomeZada has 40 templates for common home improvement projects that you can browse through. And we make it very easy because you can even filter those projects by major, minor, even decorative or outdoor projects. When you click on major remodel, let's say you're doing a bathroom remodel, you can click on that template Inside the template, we're giving you an itemized list of things that you need to consider and even got some videos about how to go about that selection process. Now if you actually want to start planning, you just click on the Start Planning button. Now you can choose between a high, medium, and low kind of quick estimate. We'll choose a moderate estimate. You can choose an estimated start and finish date. You're kind of in that planning process trying to figure out how much you're going to spend on this bathroom remodel. Now that you're actually in the project, you can scroll down and see all the different information already. And now you can already track your financial summary. Notice in this chart here, we look at the quick estimate of $12,000, but the project budget is set at zero. If you scroll up to the top and choose Items, all the items that we saw before here are all ready for you in this table view where you can go in and start entering in a budget price. If you go to All Projects, you can see that the system is very easy to track multiple projects, and they all have a status. So Wishlist Projects are projects that you're planning on. You can see that I completed a swimming pool project, and I'm also working on a kitchen remodel. Where if you want to go in and look and see some more information that you can track with projects, if you click on the Photos tab, it's very important to track before and after photos as well as photos during the construction process so you can document how well your contractors are performing. And you can also track multiple documents for a project. So here I might have a contract with an interior designer, a remodeling contract, permits, etc. So you can see how easy it is to track all of your home improvement projects with HomeZada.
