The tutorial demonstrates how HomeZada’s maintenance dashboard helps homeowners organize small repair tasks and projects. It shows how recurring tasks are identified by a 3/4 semicircle icon and how users can view and create recurring schedules for the entire property. The presenter then creates a one‑off “Fix Gutters” task, setting a due date, contractor name, start and end times, and categorizing it for financial tracking. The interface allows estimating and later recording the actual cost, attaching before‑and‑after photos, and linking relevant documents such as proposals, warranties, and liability certificates. The walkthrough highlights the ease of managing repair work, tracking expenses, and keeping supporting documentation within HomeZada.

HomeZada is very useful to manage small repair tasks or projects around your home. From the maintenance dashboard, just go to the main task list, and you can see the first list to the left of the description. There's this 3/4 semicircle that's giving you a visual indicator that this is a recurring task. If you click on recurring schedule tab in the upper right, you can see all of the recurring tasks for your entire property here. Where you can see the frequency on how often those tasks occur. If you want to create a new recurring task, you just go to the upper right and click on Create Recurring Tasks. But if I go back to individual tasks, notice that the second task here does not have that 3/4 semicircle, and it's a fix-it task because I've got some broken gutters. So if we click on that, you can see here that I've created a fix-it task where I've named the task Fix Gutters. I've got a due date for a contractor to come visit my house and fix it on September 10th. I've categorized it as a fix-it task so I can get financial tracking on that in Reports Future. And I can come down here and I can even estimate the cost and I can even track what the actual cost was. And I've got a start time of they're going to show up at my house at 9 and probably be done by 12. And the name of the company that I've hired to track and fix my gutters is Adam's Roofing and Gutters. Now if I scroll back up to the top, I can even take multiple photos of these fix-it repair tasks. So you can see here I've taken a few photos of my damaged gutters before, and I've taken a few photos of what the new gutters look like after. If I click on Documents, I can also track multiple documents for a repair task. So here I've got a document for the actual proposal, the warranty, and even a certificate of liability because they're going to come out to my property and I want to make sure that they're properly insured. So now you can see how easy HomeZada is to manage all of your small repair and fix-it tasks. Thanks.
