In this instructional video, Beth from HomeZada demonstrates how the platform helps homeowners organize and share home‑improvement project data, focusing on the Shopping Choices tab for an office‑furnishings remodel. She walks through the financial summary columns—highest price, lowest price, preferred‑choice price, average price, and budget comparison—explains how to revisit bookmarked product pages, select a preferred option via a checkbox, and view all preferred items in a consolidated screen. Beth also shows how to generate a printable summary or share the data with designers, contractors, or family members by using the Print button or inviting others through a premium account. Finally, she highlights the bar‑chart visualization that contrasts price ranges and preferred selections, illustrating how HomeZada provides instant visibility and collaborative decision‑making for DIY or contractor‑led projects.

Hi, I'm Beth with HomeZada. After I've done all this research on all my home improvement projects, I'm always trying to find all the information. It's somewhere in my house, it's on my desktop, it's all over the place, and then furthermore, I get all these questions from my husband. What does it cost? Are there better options? And I don't have a really great way of sharing this information with him. Let us show you how HomeZada can actually help you manage this entire home improvement project organization.
Great. So we're back at our office furnishings project, and we're on the Shopping Choices tab. And if we scroll down a bit, you can see here that this is giving us a financial summary over all the shopping choices that we've currently made. And to draw your attention here, this column here in purple is showing us the sum of all the items in terms of the highest price. And then the next column is showing us the sum of the items as the lowest price. And then we've got a column here for preferred choice price, where you can see that with the desk and the printer and the television, we currently don't have a value there. And we'll get to that in a second. And the last column here is showing us the sum of all the items in terms of the average price. And then the last column is comparing it against our overall budget. So the great thing about Homesata is when you drill back into all of your previous shopping choices, oftentimes your shopping is done over multiple weeks or months. Sometimes we forget exactly what we looked at a few months or weeks ago. So you can always click on the shopping choice item and it'll take you back to the original site where you actually did your bookmark. And then if you actually want to denote, you know, which one do you think is your preferred choice out of these 3 choices, All you got to do is click that little checkbox and you've denoted that as currently your preferred choice. So I'm going to quickly traverse through our other 2 items that did not have a preferred choice, which was our printer and our television. And we'll pick that one. And then notice on the left-hand side we've been navigating to the different project items. The very last item is an item called All Preferred Choices, which when I click on that, now you can see in the center of the screen whether it was the bookcase, the chair, the computer, the desk, the printer, all of our preferred choices are showing up in one screen. So I get an instant visibility over what all my preferred choices are, and this would be a great way to use the Print button up here, especially if you wanted to forward this to an interior designer or perhaps even an exterior contractor. If this was a project that you were working on that was either DIY or through a contractor, it's a great way to share your shopping research. If I go back to all the items, now you can see that the preferred choice is filled in. You can see that it totals $6,500, and you could even get a bar chart view over the different items as it relates to which one's the highest, lowest, and then the green bars are obviously your preferred choice. Another great thing about HomeZada is you can invite multiple family members and/or your significant other to actually see a lot of this information live in the app. And that's pretty easy to do by just clicking on the premium account, scrolling down to the bottom where you can share your property now, put the email address in to your significant other, and now they can log into Homes.com and actually see all the same shopping information that you've been researching and aggregating. And now comes the fun part where it gets to the actual decision-making process over actually deciding which, which item you're going to move forward to on that office furnishings project. So, thank you for watching how HomZada can help you in your shopping analysis between family members and couples, as well as giving you a summary of all of your shopping items. Thank you.
