Hi everyone, Beth Dodson here with HomeZada. Today we're going to talk about a subject that not a lot of people want to talk about, and that's estate planning, and 3 ways you can use HomeZada to estate plan, and 3 reasons why it can provide you value in the long run. Okay, so let's just get to it. First of all, document the contents of your home. You can use HomeZada's home inventory functionality to do that. And we forget about the contents of our home, but they do add up. So that's the first thing. The second thing is within HomeZada's home inventory functionality, you can actually assign where the item needs to go, whether it's a specific family member or friend or an institution or organization that you love and you want to assign that. So you can do that within HomeZada, and then with that, you now have a record. Of what items go where and to whom. And you do that through HomeZada's estate planning PDF that you can print right outside of HomeZada. You can then take that information to your estate attorney and estate planner, and they can use it as part of your overall package. So really exciting, simple tips that you can do inside HomeZada to make sure that you are allocating the items Where you need to. Now, why do you want to do this? I told you I'd give you 3 reasons why you want to do this. It's really important. One, because you get to assign the items and where you want them to go. You may have a specific piece of jewelry that you think a specific family member might benefit. You may have a specific piece of artwork that you really think a museum deserves. You get to make that choice through this process by assigning it in HOMZADA. That's the first thing. The second thing is, and the value is, make sure that you are planning this process before you move to the next phase of life. The worst thing that anyone can do is leave all of this to their family members while they're grieving. It's a really hard time when a family member passes and people are sad and they're lonely and they're, they're just, they don't know how to process sometimes. So going through that process for them before your next phase of life will actually alleviate some of their pain, which is really, really important. And then the third area is you actually get to prevent any family squabbles or arguments over which item goes where, and that's a really healthy thing to do for the family. We can't say that this is going to prevent any of those squabbles, but you certainly can make your case. Prior to your next phase of life and actually helping the family come to terms with everything all at once by taking on the responsibility of doing this. So, albeit it's not a positive subject to always talking about, our next phase of life, it is something that does occur. And if you have anything inside your house, it's really important for you to start that process of documenting it, assigning it, and printing the information so that you have it on record and you give it to the appropriate people. So I hope these estate planning tips have helped you and you feel a little bit more comfortable with managing your contents of your home in this way.
