In this YouTube interview, Ed Weeks talks with several local business owners—including Dawn, Kate, and other practitioners—about the tangible results they’ve seen after using his social‑media advertising services on Facebook and Instagram. The owners report increased foot traffic, more video views, higher engagement on boosted posts, and a steady stream of leads within weeks of launching campaigns. They also discuss how targeted ads helped attract the right type of customers (e.g., specific patient demographics) and how community events like a ribbon‑cutting ceremony reinforced local brand awareness. Throughout the conversation, Ed contrasts the effectiveness of social‑media advertising with traditional media (print, radio, TV), positioning the former as a more reliable and measurable channel for small businesses.

A lot of questions have been coming in lately. People have been talking about traditional media, print, radio, TV, wondering is it still even a valid option to advertise? I could give you my opinion, but I could also just tell you, go to the channels that I am operating on, Facebook and Instagram. You'll see they're sponsoring posts. So if their outlets aren't dead, why are they on social media? Think about it, it's not that hard. Dawn, we've been working together, what, a little over 4 months now?
Yep.
What, uh, what have you seen in the restaurant? Things picked up? Where are we at?
Yeah, I see a lot of, um, a lot more business coming in because people saying, you know, how they like the posts that are on Facebook, all the marketing that you're doing for us there. I mean, I've never seen so many views on the videos and the, the posts that you're boosting and helping us with our business.
So it's really What's going on in the practice? How are things growing? How are things moving forward?
Well, I mean, it's just our practice has grown so much over the last year, and it's really helped us target the types of patients that we want to have in our practice, which has really made the difference in getting the right types of patients through the door.
What are your thoughts, Kate and I, what we're doing here? Great. Excellent. Had a great ribbon-cutting.
The ribbon-cutting probably was one of the best with the Chamber for Dutchess County and for the local ones. The people that showed up was just a picture of what, you know, they think of us locally as business people and building a relationship going further in the future. I just— it was just— it was great just to see all that. It was positive.
We're in our 4th month together. What's been going on? What's changed? Anything good? Anything bad? Anything you want to talk about? It's all good.
Been getting leads from your service within, what, I think a couple of weeks. As soon as you put it up, I was starting to get some Facebook activity. Got some good responses, so it's working. Hey, Ed Weeks in the house!
How have things been? I mean, have you noticed a difference?
Well, yep, we've definitely got some leads. We had our best January ever. I mean, sometimes, you know, honestly, it's hard for us to track everything. for us, but, you know, but we're definitely driving traffic, and we had our best January, you know, in company history. One of our better months in the company history, to be honest.
